C
Pray
with
me,
our
precious
heavenly
father,
we
come
before
you
tonight,
father,
and
I
just
thank
you
so
much
for
this
beautiful
day,
god
I
thank
you
so
much
as
the
leaves
begin
to
change
that
you
remind
us
that
you
are
in
charge
of
every
little
thing
that
happens
in
our
universe
and
so
father.
We
tonight
as
we
meet,
we
just
pray
for
guidance.
Lord,
we
pray
for
wisdom
for
everyone
involved
here
tonight,
god
we
just
pray
for
discernment,
lord.
C
We
we
pray
that,
no
matter
what
that
we
would
just
keep
you
in
mind
in
every
decision
that's
made
here
tonight
and
and
father.
We
ask
that
each
and
every
person
just
walk
out
of
here,
just
with
it,
with
a
good
feeling,
god,
and
just
just
knowing
that
everything
that
was
done
here
tonight,
father
that
you
will
get
the
glory
lord.
We
thank
you
for
our
city
of
ironton.
E
A
A
I
have
one
marta
on
on
page
two
when
it
says
nuisance
property,
it
should
read
vacant
property,
although
I
did
say
nuisance
property,
but
I
was
mistaken.
It's
a
vacant
property.
G
Keith
and
leg
at
2106
and
a
half
south
5th
street
or
possibly
the
half
is
the
the
part
that's
causing
the
issue.
She
has
a
sober
living
home
that
is
adjacent
to
her
house.
I
haven't
driven
by
to
take
a
look
at
it
yet,
but
they,
the
the
residents
of
that
silver
living
home,
have
taken
over
her
drive,
well,
their
yard.
Her
drive
and
part
of
her
yard
almost
budding
up
to
her
back
door
where
she
can't
get
her
vehicle
in
and
out.
G
A
G
Okay,
2106
and
a
half
and
again,
I'm
not
sure
if
she
lives
at
the
half
or
if
the
half
is
the
adjacent
property.
That's
south
5th
street
it
from
the
photo
that
she
sent.
It
is
not.
G
It
looks
like
it's
her
driveway,
but
I
can
get
you
some
more
details,
your
honor,
the
next
issue
that
I
wanted
to
address
a
few
meetings
ago.
It
was
discussed
in
council
that
there
was
we
were
trying
to
get
some
resolution
or
maybe
some
some
proposals
on
how
the
murals
might
take
place
on
the
flood
wall.
G
I
work
for
star
community
justice
and
I've
spoken
to
all
the
directors
there
and
they've
actually
communicated
with
judge
ballard
as
well.
I
guess
he's
big
on
community
service
type
initiatives
in
the
community
and
that's
actually
why
I
have
a
guest
alexa
royal
with
me,
she's
newly
back
to
ironton
as
well.
She
graduated
in
2012
and
is
interested
in
getting
to
know
more
about
local
politics,
and
so
I've
asked
her
to
help
raise
awareness
of
this
idea.
G
It's
not
just
residents
of
star,
but
since
I'm
there
every
day
there
are
some
truly
amazing
artists.
Anybody
that's
had
the
opportunity
to
visit
star
or
to
work
a
star
can
testify
to
that.
In
fact,
I
kind
of
springboarded
off
of
that
to
the
idea
of
maybe
opening
the
the
project
to
the
greater
community,
whether
it's
lawrence
county
lawrence
iota.
G
However,
it
goes,
and
instead
of
spending
60
or
70
thousand
dollars
to
pay
an
artist
to
come
from
outside
the
community,
which
is
fine,
I've
seen
portsmouth's
wall.
It
is
amazing,
it's
truly
amazing,
but
maybe
it
might
mean
a
little
more
to
our
community
if
the
wall
itself
is
painted
by
local
members
of
the
community
or
if
people
are
looking
to
find
some
way
to.
A
But
I'm
going
to
deflect
again
sure,
because
when
you
heard
us
discussing
it,
it
was
because
the
mayor
brought
it
up
to
us
that
that
project
was
ongoing
and
he's
his
office
is
actually
taking
care
of
that
mike's
interested
in
the
arts.
And
so
we
were
talking
about
it
because
I
asked
him
to
like
loop
mike
in,
but
now
he
can
loop,
the
electa
in
as
well.
Okay,
so.
A
A
I
It's
10
1003
with
tonya.
He
doesn't
live
there,
but
that's
a
property.
It's
a
nuisance
property.
He
and
other
neighbors
are
dealing
with
pests.
Smells
high
grass.
A
I
D
A
Moving
on
to
communications,
I
asked
maura
last
time
we
had
a
letter
from
mike
pierce
that
was
supposed
to
be
attached
to
the
communication,
so
the
minutes
will
will
have
those
attached.
The
next
time.
A
Also,
I
think
all
of
us
got
a
letter
from
ohio
university
southern
regarding
a
visit
from
the
president,
hugh
sherman
and
vice
president
of
provost
to
ohio
university
on
october
27th
at
all
of
you
get
that
so
what
they
failed
to
realize
and
send
them
that
to
all
of
us
is
that
if
we
all
show
up,
it
violates
the
sunshine
walls.
A
So
so,
if
there
are
people
that
want
to
attend,
please
coordinate
that
through
me
before
we
reply
an
rsvp
because
we
would
have
to
I
mean
if
four
of
us
attend
we'd
have
to
call
special
media,
so
we'll
try
to
avoid
that.
So
please,
if
you're
going
to
attend
our
an
rsvp,
coordinate
that
through
me.
So
I
can
make
sure
that
we
don't
violate
the
sunshine
law
by
by
attending
that,
although
I
would
encourage
everyone
to
that
can
to
attend
that
it
seems
like
a
worthy
event.
A
F
J
D
I
A
Yes,
because
the
the
regional
theme
and
the
and
the
campus
thing
are
the
same.
In
the
culture
reports
we
have
the
public
hearing
of
september
23rd
2021
regarding
ordinance,
2143
report
in
its
entirety
and
your
packet.
A
The
public
feedback
was
none
just
fyi
moving
on
to
ordinances.
If
the
clerk
could
please
give
ordinance
21
57
second
reading
by
title,
one.
A
I
A
K
So
I'd
like
to
have
some
discussion
as
far
as
if
this,
if
this
is
repealed,
is
there
any
interest
in
keeping
that
fund
funded
and,
if
so,
with
what
dollars.
A
I
Yeah
that
finally
stayed
open
and
will
be
funded
by
the
three
percent
hotel
motel
excise
tax,
one
and
a
half
percent
of
that
three
percent
will
go
to
per
ordinance
2158
that
will
go
toward
one
and
a
half
percent
of
the
three
percent
will
go
towards
the.
I
What
this,
what
the
2157
does
is
we're
trying
to
take
burden
of
fees
off
the
citizens
and
allow
some
of
the
businesses
that
have
came
into
town
to
bring
other
residents
into
town
to
pay
for
some
of
the
things
they
shouldn't
pay.
For
you
know
we're
just
talking
about
paving
roads
for
dairy
cleaning
and
everything
I
you
know
everybody
in
irons
might
not
like
that.
I
mean
they
probably
don't
want
their
feed
money
paying
their
rent
for
dairy,
it's
personal
preference.
So
I
don't
think
our
citizens
should
be.
You
know,
funding
public
things
like
that.
K
D
K
Know
the
bed
tax
is
a
separate
ordinance,
but
it's
kind
of
been
intermingled
with
this,
so
I
we
have.
As
far
as
I
know,
there's
been
no
discussion
with
anybody.
That's
any
hotel,
ownerships
local
investors.
K
K
I
The
hotel,
motel
exercise
text
has
been
done
back
and
forth
for
three
years.
I
tried
to
take
it
off
the
table
six
months
ago,
the
last
time
that
the
investors
and
everybody
else
came
in.
They
said
that
they
were
struggling
and
they
didn't
want
an
extra
three
percent
taking
you
know,
hurting
business,
but
shortly
thereafter
they
raised
the
rates
for
a
room,
so
it
kind
of
was
spit
in
the
face
to
council.
I
believe
that
they
would,
you
know,
tell
us
that
we
can't
impose.
I
You
know
which
we
wholeheartedly.
I
already
agree
with.
The
city
deserves
a
piece
of
that
fight.
They're
still
gonna
get
six
percent.
We
get
no
sales
tax
from
the
county,
I
mean
so
we're.
J
I
Getting
the
sales
tax
on
the
county's
get
the
sales
tax
and
the
six
percent
of
the
hotel
most
motel
excise
tax,
we're
just
asking
for
three
percent
and,
like
I
said
you
know
when
you
go
and
come
in
and
bring
four
or
five
people
in
here
to
speak
to
us
and
tell
us
that
if
you
raise
the
fees
at
all
or
raise
the
rates
at
all,
it's
going
to
kill
business,
and
then
they
go
right
in
after
that
and
raise
that
rate.
I
I
A
Can
I
suggest
that
we
deal
with
the
matter
at
hand
and
then
have
discussion
on
the
ordinance
itself?
The
matter
at
hand
was
to
suspend
the
rules
to
get
third
reading
to
2157.
A
A
K
I
just
like
to
also
say
I'd
like
to
have
an
opportunity
to
to
invite
the
people
that
have
run
run
and
operate
the
hotel
to
at
least
speak,
and
you
know,
because
it
does
impact
them
and
their
business
and
have
them
be
able
to
come
and
speak
to
what
their
current
state
is
of
operations
and
how
this
would
affect.
Chris.
I
You
know
that's
been
discussed
for
three
years
going.
They,
like,
I
said
before
they
they
came
in
and
you
know,
spoke
to
council
and
I
think
they
tried
to
sell
doom
and
gloom
to
everybody
if
it
was
going
to
kill
business
and
then
went
back.
E
And
raised
racially
thereafter
bob
I
feel
like
I
want
to
support
the
hotel
tax,
but
I
think
that
the
owners
and
I
think
the
ladc
and
whoever
wants
to
talk
about
that.
We
should
offer
them
the
opportunity
to
come
in
and
explain
what
what
they
feel
like
we
need
to
do.
I
mean
you
know
it's
like,
like.
I
think
we
were
talking
there
they're,
paying
us
one
percent
right
now
for
the
best
tax
and
that's
coming
into
our
city
budget.
E
A
Us
so
also
I'll
chime
in
and
not
to
belabor
it,
but
but
what
we're
talking
about
is
six
percent,
that
the
county's
getting
just
just
to
be
clear.
We're
talking
about
six
percent
that
we
get
one
percent
of
and
the
hotel
is
in
ireland
and
both
hotels
are
in
ireland
and
we
are
having
our
citizens
pay
on
their
utility
bill
economic
development
fee.
While
we're
getting
one
percent
of
six
that
the
county
is
taking.
F
A
And
eat
skyline
chili.
I
I
get
on
my
hilton
app
and
it
says
86
bucks
a
night
and
that's
their
advertised
rate,
and
you
know
what
no
matter,
what
no
matter
what
the
city
does,
no
matter
what
the
county
does
as
far
as
their
as
far
as
their
taxes
go.
That's
not
in
their
advertised
rate.
I
get
that
as
a
whammy.
A
After
I
do
my
checkout
and
you
know
what
it's
not
going
to
affect,
whether
I
click
on
check
book
that
hotel
or
not
it's
not
and
so
to
for
the
city
of
martin
to
to
get
a
piece
of
and-
and
I
won't
even
say
a
fair
piece,
because
it's
really
not
even
a
fair
bit
but
a
piece
of
what
is
in
ironden,
I
think,
is-
and
we've
we've
heard.
We've
heard
and
we've
asked
we've
even
done
the
due
diligence
we've
sat
through
this
and
we've
done
the
due
diligence
of
asking
the
county
commissioners.
A
Would
you
please
redivide
that
I
mean
we
have
egg
on
our
face,
you're
getting
six
percent
you're,
giving
us
one?
Would
you
just
divide
that?
And
let's
do
three
three
and
what
was
their
answer
hell?
No
was
their
answer
all
right,
so
that's
my
piece.
I've
seen
hands
up
everywhere,
I'll
start
with
nate.
K
Just
two
points
I'd
like
to
hear
what
their
current
state
is
and
what
the
hotels
have
to
say
about
it
up.
Next,
is
you
know,
I'm
not
opposed
to
the
additional
hotel
tax.
I
I
What's
this?
What
is
the
city
of
ireland
getting
out
of
that?
If
that
is
not
incorporated
or
annexed
into
the
city?
What
are
we
getting
other
than
you
know?
Hotels,
which
that's
great
full
hotels,
is
a
great
thing.
People
coming
in
is
a
great
thing,
but
how
is
a
sports
car
going
to
you
know
if
it's
not
inside
the
city?
I
A
And
then
mike.
L
Mr
furry,
there
have
been
many
valid
and
good
points
made
this
evening.
I
I
agree
with
many
of
them,
but
I
think
in
fairness.
It
would
be
good.
It
doesn't
hurt
this
body
at
all
to
allow
representatives
from
the
hotel
to
come
speak
to
us.
I
mean
that's
just
my
opinion.
A
L
A
K
A
No
do
you
care
to
or
sam
either
one
to
have
an
invited
guest.
On
behalf,
I
said
an
invited
guest,
at
least
a
spokesperson,
so
we're
not
bombarded
with
15
people
from
the
hotel
group
and
ledc
and
lawrence
county
commissioners,
which,
whichever
is
appropriate
at
the
next
meeting,
to
address
some
of
that
and
if
it's
the
lawrence
county
commissioners,
maybe
we
can
get
them
on
record
to
say
that
the
visitors
bureau
will
stay
in
ironton.
I
I
A
L
I
just
have
several
short
things.
I'm
sorry.
K
I
H
A
It
has
to
have
three
separate
ratings,
just
fyi,
and
along
with
that,
I
don't
know.
If
you
guys
heard
me
chris
talking
about
ordinance
211
that
created
the
r1as,
it
was
only
waiting
on
the
maps,
so
if,
if
and
when
you
all
feel
it's
appropriate
to
set
those
limits
and
start
that
rezoning
process
for
r1a,
let
me
know
and
we'll
we'll
do
that
sooner
rather
than
later
at
least
get
the
ball
rolling
for
whatever
council
sits
here
in
december.
Okay,
any
other
ordinances
resolutions
are
none
miscellaneous
back
to
mr
pierce.
L
A
L
I
think
we
probably
all
received
an
email
today
from
an
attorney
stephen
magus
to
the
ipd
for
public
records.
I
did.
A
Not
receive
that
email,
although
I
was
made
aware
of
it,
and
that
is
a
that's-
a
their
email
was
not
addressed
to
the
ipd
chief.
It
was
addressed
to
pd
chief,
which,
which
is
probably
their
error
in
communication,
which
is
why
they've
received
no
communication,
but
we'll
ask
sam
to
have
to
have
pam
respond
to
that
with
the
solicitor's
public
records
request
from
the
police
saying.
D
Today
I
didn't
see
it:
okay,
oh,
look
in
there.
B
L
In
response
to
the
letter
that
I
had
you
read
in
my
absence,
miss
commander
greatly
appreciated
the
passing
of
the
streets
in
his
area,
and
it
was
done
really
really
well
and
he
just
wanted
to
give
his
kudos
to
the
street
department,
and
I
knew
as
well
to
thank
mr
pemberton,
the
street
department,
that
did
an
excellent
job
and
I
think
there
was
another
thing
on
the
agenda
on
charlotte
street
columbia
and
they
even
sent
pictures-
and
I
went
there
today
and
that
was
an
exceptionally
well
done-
job
patching
that
that's
down
in
the
green
valley
area,
where
it's
concrete
has
to
be
cut
out.

There's
a
gentleman
james
ford
who
contacted
me
and
asked
about
having
a
city
pick
up.
Some
rubbish
he's
got
some
wood
and
pieces
of
an
old
fern
and
some
things,
and
this
reminded
me
back
to
something
you
had
said
craig
when
we
were
discussing
nuisance
and
trash
and
things
that
I'm
not
sure
we
have
a
means
in
the
city
now
to
go
around
and
pick
up
things
like
this,
and
I
know
one
time
we
discussed.
Maybe
having
something
set
up
where
a
citizen
could
pay
or
whatever
to
have
some
things
like
this
picked
up.
L
A
I
think
so
I
know
the
street
department
has
been
doing
some
covert
spa
cleanups.
So
that
may
be
some.
If
you
get
an
address
to
salmon,
maybe
something
that
okay
I'll
work
on.
D
Thank
you
very
much
other
miscellaneous
same
now,
sad
to
give
you
guys
some
news.
We
lost
one
of
our
employees
last
night,
jimmy
smith.
He
was
a
lab
technician
at
the
wastewater
plant.
