A
Six
o'clock
call
to
order
general
ironton
city,
council,
general,
regular
meeting
july
8th
2021.
B
B
I
thank
you,
lord,
that
we
are
finally
able
to
be
together
in
person
lord,
and
I
thank
you
that
things
are
finally
getting
better
with
the
pandemic,
and
we
give
you
the
glory
for
that.
Lord
and
I
pray
tonight
as
this
council
meets
god
that
you
would
just
give
knowledge
that
you
would
give
discernment
that
you
would
give
patience
and
open-mindedness
lord
and
that
everything
that
needs
to
be
discussed
will
be
discussed
within
a
manner
that
is
pleasing
to
you.
Lord.
D
E
As
relevant
to
city
operations,
but
meeting
with
sher
brown
center
sheriff
brown's
office
today,
they
were
stressing
that
folks
should
be
on
the
lookout
for
the
child
tax
credit
that
came
through
the
arpa
funding.
E
If
you
haven't
for
each
child,
I
believe
it's
250
dollars
per
month
anywhere
from
six
to
18
years
old,
and
that's
for
folks
that
make
up
to
75
000
single
parents
couples
up
to
150
000.
E
You
know
for
the
folks
that
don't
pay
taxes
because
they
don't
make
enough
money
or
what
not
they're,
also
eligible
to
apply
through
child
tax
credit.gov,
so
should
see
that
coming
soon,
also
with
the
state
budget
that
was
released,
the
one
that
cut
half
of
our
harp
of
funding
that
one
there's
some
good
news
that
came
out
of
that
and
they
are
going
to
provide
a
lot
of
small
business
grants
so
for
any
business
owners
that
may
be
listening.
E
E
One
last
thing
we're
starting
to
see
a
lot
of
food
trucks
popping
up
around
town.
I
know
we
had
this
conversation
before
about
vendors
permits.
So
far,
a
lot
of
them
have
been
very
good
about
reaching
out
and
kind
of
asking.
What's
the
guidance
on
you
know
where
they
can
go,
what
they
can
do,
but
I
think
it's
important
that
we
put
something
in
place.
E
As
you
know,
compliant-
or
you
know,
forthcoming
about,
you
know,
learning
the
rules
before
they
start
operating
businesses.
So
I
think
that's
some
legislation
that
we
need
to
start
pushing.
I
know
that
we
put
if
for,
for
instance,
whenever
people
come
to
get
the
application,
for
you
know,
building
permits
or
whatever
we
do
have
something
in
there
for
that,
but
it
really
doesn't
kind
of
solidify.
E
G
Mayor,
you
know
I'm
going
to
be
involved
in
regattas
and
everything
like
that
and
we
always
had
to
send
the
food
people
up
to
the
health
department.
Yeah.
G
G
A
H
A
Okay,
the
mayor
john,
if
you
could
work
with
anderson's
in
putting
that
together
again,
I
think
there's
some
interest
there.
Chris
chris
said
he
like
something
inclusive
with
festivals,
yeah,.
E
I
We
may
want
to
look
at
something
like
a
seasonal
thing.
I
mean
these
food
trucks
more
or
less
during
the
summer
or
spring
and
to
give
them
a
break
on
finances.
I
don't
know
how
much
a
regular
vendor's
license
is,
but
if
it's,
if
they're
just
here
for
three
months
four
months,
maybe
give
them
the
price
break
for
that.
A
H
There's
different
types
of
my
I
like,
I
know
what
you're
saying
I'd
like
to
see
something
in
there
about,
like
maybe
a
weekend
weekend,
license
monthly
or
annual.
So
then
you
can
address
it
that
way,
because
other
communities
do
it.
You
can
get
a
one
day,
passion
a
weekend
patch
you
can
get.
You
know
it's
kind
of
like
two
weeks
or
whatever
yeah
you
can
get.
You.
I
A
Okay,
so
there's
a
few
things
to
consider.
I
do
want
some
input
from
the
mayor
and
john
and
whoever
whoever
will
be
enforcing
it
because
that'll
be
one.
I
would
like
to
have
their
their
feedback
on
that
too.
Mayor
was
there
at
one
point:
we
talked
about
upgrading
at
like
our
software
to
be
able
to
track.
E
A
E
What
we're
doing
now
is
having
to
go
back
and
input
all
the
data
that
we
have
so
far
to
kind
of
track.
What
we've
done
already?
It's
we're
very
new
into
it.
Okay,
I'm
just
getting
started
with
it
once
we
have
got
everything
up
to
date
and
we're
more
familiar
with
okay,
the
incoming
process,
we'll
put
the
link
online
for
people
just
to
be
able
to
one
stop.
A
G
He
doesn't
have
any
workers,
because
they're
all
being
pulled
out,
they
only
got
two
or
three
or
something
they
end
up
on
garbage
trucks,
because
I
mean
with
the
with
the
influx
money
we
got
now.
Can
we
just
kind
of
vote
john
you
and
the
mayor?
If
we
look,
maybe
hiring
a
couple
more
people
from
the
street
department.
E
E
G
Thousands,
if
you're
looking
at
seasonal
workers,
I'd
like
to
talk
to
the
mayor
and
get
his
thoughts
on
it
a
little
bit
more
sir.
But
let
me
look.
E
I
A
It's
big
back
on
that
too.
I
used
it
and
I
thought
it
was
well
organized,
so
I
thought
the
street
department
and
sanitation
mike
they
did
a
great
job
in
in
doing
that.
So
I
think
that
was
a
great
thing
for
our
city.
Were
we
pretty
on
point
with
the
budget
on
that
or
is
it
well?
I
have
to
see
what
the.
A
The
a
lot
I
had
a
couple
things
here
too,
I
was
gonna,
do
the
miscellaneous,
but
since
you're
up
here
I
had
on
my
notes,
would
you
be
able
to
invite
dr
bill
dingus
or
jeremy
clay
for
a
quarterly
update
for
economic
development?
I
think
that
continued
communication
is
very
important.
A
A
This
is
not
on
our
agenda,
but
marta
left
some
communication
from
the
ohio
division
of
liquor
control.
It's,
I
think
it's
just
for
the
transfer
of
the
license
from
pick
and
save
to
to
food
fair,
pretty
much.
A
If
there
is
a
hearing
requested
so
or
if
you
can
send
that
back
to
them
by
the
deadline,
I
would
appreciate
that
reports.
There
are
none.
Next
we
have
ordinance
wardens
ordinances,
man,
I'm
struggling
today,
ordinances.
G
A
D
A
D
A
A
A
K
A
D
K
G
K
Has
to
have
a
public
hearing,
okay,
which
we
have
to
advertise
in
the
paper.
I've
given
an
opinion
I'll
pull
that
back
out
and
recirculate
it
for
everybody,
but
once
the
planning
commission
sends
it
back,
we
set
it
for
public
hearing
have
a
public
hearing.
It
has
to
get
three
readings.
It
can't
be
passed
as
an
emergency.
K
So
what
will
happen
is
once
the
planning
commission
gets
it.
They
will
either
give
her
favorable
or
disfavorable
recommendations
now,
whether
they
have
a
public
need
or
not,
I'm
not
sure
that'll
be
up
to
them
when
they
do
send.
The
back
counsel
has
to
have
a
public
meeting
in
which
we
have
to
give
public
notice
in
the
paper.
After
that
meeting,
it's
given
second
we're
put
back
on
the
agenda
for
second
reading,
then
third
reading
and
it
cannot
be
passed.
E
K
A
Okay,
tomorrow,
could
you
get
with
terry
and
get
those
those
names
and
send
that
any
other
discussion.
A
A
A
A
The
clerk
please
give
orders
21
44,
second
and
third
reading
by
title.
Only.
A
H
I've
got
some
discussion
on
this.
Go.
A
H
The
reason
why
you
know,
I
think
I
of
this
initiative
was
because
I've
received
many
many
complaints
about
unattended
and
unkept
cats.
This
isn't
to
deter
anybody
in
ironing
a
cat.
This
is
simply
to
you,
know,
kind
of.
H
You
know
the
problem
that
we've
seen
all
over
the
town
with
numerous
unkept
and
unaltered
cats,
so
this
isn't
to
deter
anybody
from
having
a
cat
or
anything
just
simply
controlling
the
increasing
population.
H
We
already
we
already
have,
which
that's
why,
in
this
ordinance
2139,
we
already
had
a
dog
board,
because
what
we
call
an
analysis,
family
control
officer.
I
know
you've.
You
referred
to
this
meeting
with
the
animal
controller
and
the
orange
county
animal
shelter
and
the
ways
that
they
go
about
kind
of
altering
these
animals
and
trapping
them
and
spaying
or
neutering
the
animals.
So
the
population
doesn't
get
out
of
controlled.
H
E
So
it
will
work,
we'll
just
have
to
find
someone.
The
reason
is,
I
believe
it's
because
workman's
kind
won't
cover
them
on
this
contracted
position
and
any
type
of
injury
or
anything
they
may
endure
during
that
time
would
not
be
covered
for
them,
so
they
have
to
step
down.
I
don't
know
if
that's
going
to
become
an
issue
with
anyone
that
we
hire
for
that
contracting
position.
F
E
A
C
A
C
E
Journal
the
other
gentleman
he
does
like
south
points,
contract
uh-huh.
C
A
E
A
A
Okay,
chris,
I
I
do
want
to
thank
you,
because
I
know
you
put
a
lot
of
hard
time,
hard
work
and
time
into
developing
that
and
an
issue.
That's
much
needed
to
be
addressed.
So
thank
you
for
doing
that.
Just
something
else
you
want
to
add.
I
was
just
going
to
make
motion
to.
D
A
A
Okay
got
a
motion
by
jacob
and
a
second
by
beth,
untable,
ordinance
2135
and
give
it
third
reading
roll
call.
D
A
A
D
A
A
G
G
All
the
council
members
mayor
yep,
john,
even.
