one

an

edition,

that's

is
located
at
619
azalea
place.

knox
avenue
on
the
south
side
of
the
city,
the
request
is
for
variance
from
the
side
yard
requirements
contained
in
section
4.2.1
of
the
city's
zoning
ordinances.
The
request
is
to
reduce
the
the
south
side
yard
from
10
feet
to
6.5
feet.

think
it
may
be

You
can
see
a
bit

It
is

it
reaches
the

It's

the
corner,

that

driveway

appears
that
the

driveway

within

10

setback,
which
is
no
problem.

further
back

existing
carport
may
also

within
the

setback.
This
is
not
uncommon
in
this
part
of
the
city.
It
appears
that
the
subdivisions
that
were
built
in
and
around
azealia
place
we're
using
a
seven
and
a
half
foot
setback
when
these
houses
were
built,
given
that
they
were
built
in
the
50s
and
60s
that
obviously
predates
the
current
zoning
ordinance.

is
the
side
yard
to
the
north.
It
looks
nice
and
broad,
but
it
is
only
about
30
feet,
which
is
the
same
distance
on
the
south
side.
What
is
worth
noting
is
that
just
behind
the
trees
and
shrubs
to
the
right
of
this
photograph
is
a
house.
That's
only
about
seven
or
eight
feet
from
the
property
line.
