Adjournment
A
A
Then
I'm
going
to
ask
sergeant
porter
smith
afterwards,
if
he
would
say
the
pledge
for
us.
Let's
pray,
father,
we're
thankful
for
this
day,
lord,
we
we
lift
our
country
to
you
right
now.
We
ask
that
your
blessings
would
be
upon
it,
that
there
would
be
a
healing
hand
that
would
bring
people
together.
A
Father,
we
lift
our
city
to
you,
our
state,
to
you.
We
just
ask
that
you
would
give
this
council
guidance
lord
and
help
us
as
we
make
decisions
for
the
people
of
our
city
father.
We
just
ask
that
you
would
protect
our
city
and
state
and
country
and
all
with
the
those
who
are
been
touched
by
this
covet
and
the
families
and
those
who
who
still
her
are
battling
it.
Lord.
We
just
pray
that
you'd
be
with
them
and
lend
your
hand
to
them,
but
you'd
be
with
us
tonight.
B
A
All
righty,
since
we
have
one
item,
I
don't
know
that
it's
necessary
for
us
to
have
the
approval
of
the
agenda
tonight,
so
we're
going
to
move
right
down
to
new
business
item
number
one.
This
is
an
emergency
ordinance
to
temporarily
suspend
the
normal
operating
procedures
of
the
meetings
of
the
city
of
the
council
and
boards
and
commissions
by
title
and
emergency
ordinance
to
temporarily
suspend
the
normal
operating
procedures
of
the
meetings
of
the
council
of
the
city
of
aitkin
and
the
boards
and
commissions.
A
E
The
primary
purpose
of
this
ordinance
would
be
that
council
would
be
allowed
to
meet
by
a
teleconference,
as
we
did
between
late
march
and
early
june
last
year.
We
will
continue
to
allow
public
comment
via
email
public
comment
at
cityvacantsc.gov,
since
this
is
a
one-reading
emergency
ordinance.
A
two-thirds
affirmative
vote
affirmative
vote
will
be
required
from
council
for
council's
consideration
is
an
emergency
ordinance
to
temporarily
suspend
the
normal
operating
procedures
of
the
meetings
of
council
and
boards
and
commissions.
E
F
I
have
a
comment.
I
will
say
to
you
that
I
don't
know
jerry,
but
I
support
jerry
and
this
is
effective,
I'm
assuming
january
28th
at
our
next
meeting.
Is
that
correct?
It.
A
F
F
But
to
come
here
every
two
months
to
extend,
extend,
extend
and
it
could
be
with
the
vaccine.
We
may
want
to
come
back
together
earlier
than
that.
I
doubt
it
frankly,
but
next
time
next
month
or
the
first
of
march,
we're
back
in
here
trying
to
determine
yes,
I
would
that's
just
a
comment
for
me.
C
F
C
B
A
Good
comments,
I
think
a
lot
of
heads
are
nodding.
We
may
ask
staff,
even
at
our
next
meeting,
to
maybe
come
up
with
a
first
reading
so
that
we
can
have
it.
C
A
A
regular
ordinance
before
this
one
expires.
G
Second,
what
councilwoman
price
says?
I
think
I
think
we
were
a
sound
enough
team
where
we
can
always
bring
it
back
to
the
table
and
say
you
know
what
guys,
I
think,
we're
good
to
meet
next
month
or
something
like
that.
In
my
opinion,.
G
A
D
D
D
And-
and
that's
great
I
think,
that's
wonderful-
I
just
got
my
parents
vaccinated
today.
I
think
you
got
your
mother
vaccinated
today
and
it's
I've
learned
an
awful
lot
in
the
last
week
as
to
how
the
process
and
all
that's
going
to
go.
But
one
of
the
things
is:
if
we
got
all
of
us
vaccinated
tomorrow,
that
doesn't
necessarily
mean
it's
safe
to
come
out
the
next
day.
It's
still
going
to
be
a
process
to
go
through
and
get
to
a
point
where
there
is
no
danger.
D
I
mean
there's
always
going
to
be
something
for
a
while,
but
anyway
I
don't
want
to
see
us
stuck
in
a
zoom
meeting.
That's
going
to
be
not
the
greatest
situation
for
our
constituents
for
our
city
forever
and
ever
the.
D
C
B
B
F
B
F
As
gail
said
this,
this
is
historic
and
when,
when
you
look
at
historically,
what
and
I'll
be
very
direct
african-americans
have
experiences
they're,
not
trusting
the
federal
government
that
easy,
even
though
these
labs
research
is
in
is
in
a
chemical
lab
being
done.
They
see
the
tide
federal
government.
They
have
not
developed
that
ease
in
terms
of
trust,
so
it's
just
safe
for
me
and
my
family
and
so
they're
they're
waiting
for
others
to
take
it
if
they
survive
over.
B
B
More
deadly
than
the
original,
but
they're
very
contagious
they're,
I
mean
much
more
contagious
than
when
kobet
first
began
and
just
like
we've
been
told,
this
is
still
part
of
the
deadliest
season,
because
flu
season
is
here
and
that
is
as
well
but
see
it's
in.
In
1918,
675
000
people
died
in
the
u.s
from
covet.
We
already
over
400.
E
D
And
again,
that's
my
point
and
we,
the
sooner
we
set
the
example
and
get
it
that
will
help
others
get
it
too.
Yes,
you
get
criticized
from
someone
who
said
you
tried
to
get
ahead
of
the
game.
Yes
or
we
just
sit
back
and
wait
and
we'll
be
months
back
and
we
still
haven't
even
gotten
it
and
other
people
are
it's
a
no-win
situation
in
what
a
lot
of
ways.
D
However,
I've
talked
to
doctors
about
the
whole
thing
and
they've
said
you
need
to
get
vaccinated
as
soon
as
you
can
no
matter
what,
because
everybody's
got
to
get
vaccinated
and
if
we're
holding
up
there's
some
out
there
waiting
to
say
well,
these
guys
aren't
doing
it,
we're
not
going
to
do
it
either
and
that
that's
across
the
board
we're
seeing
it
with
the
different
people.
Who've
been
in
line
to
to
get
the
shots
and
it's
it's
kind
of
interesting.
F
D
E
A
It's
become
really
so
getting
back
to
the
item
on
the
agenda.
Thank
you.
An
emergency
ordinance
to
temporarily
suspend
the
normal
operating
procedures
of
the
meetings
as
the
council
on
boards
and
commissions.
I
think
we're
going
to
if,
if
passed,
we're
going
to
ask
staff
to
come
back
at
our
next
meeting
with
with
a
first
ring
of
an
ordinance
that
would
probably
extend
it
and
make
it
some
other
permanent
ordinances
instead
of
the
emergency
kim
with
that
direction.
Are
there
any
other
comments
from
council
about
the
ordinance.
