crisis

did
not
come
tonight,
but
instead
asked
for
me

speak
on
their
behalf.
After
looking
over
the
proposal
for
the
Lulu's
car
wash,
we
have
several
questions
that
we
would
like
to
have
considered
number
one
where's,
the
water
runoff
from
this
going
to
go.
It
appears
there's
a
retention
pond
proposed
for
the
car
wash.

The
drainage
system
under
a
Scott
Drive
is
suspect
at
best,
because
the
city
of
energy,
the
city
of
Aitkin
engineering
department,
knows
this
as
well.
Two
years
ago
they
sent
a
man
into
that
drainage
system.
He
was
there
for
over
two
weeks,
patching
holes
and
cracks
in
the
system
to
keep
a
Scott
Drive
from
dropping.

Well,
today,
a
Scott
Drive
still
shows
signs
of
cracking
and
sinking
that
the
water
from
the
business
is
added
into
the
system.
That
will
not
be
long
before
we
have
catastrophic
failure
of
a
Scott
Drive.
In
January
of
this
year
we
stood
before
you
209
homeowners,
united
against
the
curve
out
on
the
Stratford
Drive.
Yet
tonight
we
have
another
proposal
with
a
curve
out
on
the
Stratford
Drive
after
our
last
meeting.

entire
intersection
is
an
accident.
That's
waiting
to
happen.
There
are
close
to
400
license
drivers
in
the
three
subdivisions
alone
that
are
on
a
daily
basis
coming
and
going
from
these
residents.
When
you
get
to
the
intersection
at
whisky
Road,
you
find
the
cars
are
continuously
running
the
red
light
from
both
directions.
The
city
of
Aitkin
would
like
to
make
some
money.
I
would
suggest
they
put
public
safety
there.

We've
had
multiple
accidents
with
serious
injuries
at
the
intersection
and
adding
cars
on
the
Stratford
Drive
will
only
exasperate
the
problems
that
already
exist,
while
the
car
wash
alone
may
not
generate
enough
traffic
to
warrant
a
traffic
study
when
the
remainder
of
the
property
is
developed,
they
180
to
200
cars
additional
a
day
from
the
car
wash
along
with
the
additional
cars
from
the
other
businesses
on
the
other
properties
that
are
going
to
be
developed.
There
will
greatly
increase
the
amount
of
traffic
and
congestion
there
at
that
intersection.

be
no
different
if
the
intent
is
to
open
up
the
back
of
the
property

Along

that
section,
a

going
to
be
dumping
more
traffic
into
an
already
dangerous
intersection,

say

believe
loulou's
would
be
a
great
neighbor

call
with
the

objections
center
around
the
water,
runoff
and
retention
and
the
traffic
being
added
on
the
Stratford
Drive

petition
signed
by
the
homeowners
of
Spring
Stone
store
at
hall
and
spring
stone
villas.
There
are
over
200
signatures
requesting
that
our
voices
be
heard
and
that
this
proposal,
in
its
current
state,
showing
a
curve
out
on
the
strategy,
drive,
be
denied
until
such
time
as
a
new
proposal
is
submitted,
which
eliminates
the
curb
cut
out
for
traffic,
owns
a
stripe
or
Drive
and
addresses
our
concerns
regarding
to
water
retention
and
runoff.

wrote
letters
about
other
issues
on
villas
and
it's
mostly
bubbly
widowed,
ladies
and
have
health
issues,
concerns

things
like
that.
We
agree
with
the
cut-out
emergency
vehicles
trying
to

there

backed

the
only
one
way
in
and
out
of
our
neighborhood
buts.

other
thing
that
wasn't
addressed
and
I
printed
out,
we
emailed
different
copies
of
issues
was
the
buffer.
We
feel
like
the
45
foot
buffer
is
not
enough
buffer,
they
didn't
address.

they
have
two
lines
merge
to

cars

backed

the

when
our
condos
fit

lot

did

vote

are
property
owners
as

and

failed

notify
us

stated

should

years

though
they
started
clearing
before
the
building
permit.

aware

project
