city
manager,
the
kovat

pandemic,
has
presented
a
lot
of
neat
challenges
to
our
small
businesses
into
our
citizens.
One
of
those
impacts
is
on
our
local
restaurants.
We
are
trying
to
assist
these
local
restaurants
through
several
means
number
one:
we're
relaxing
our
encroachment
policies
and
procedures
to
allow
for
more
outdoor
dining.
As
we
see
behind
me
at
City
billiards
we're
also
utilizing
funding
from
the
federal
cares
Act
to
help
offset
the
costs
for
some
of
these
supplies
and
equipment
needed
for
outdoor
dining.
A
Within
doing
this,
we
will
see
the
city
succeed
and
go
back
to
some
sense
of
normalcy.
One
of
the
owners
participating

the
program
is

with

about
what
the
city
has
done
to
try
to
assist
small
business,
including
yours
during
this
time.

Presently,
what
the
city
has
done
for
us
and
all
restaurants,
not
just
mine,
is
provide
outdoor
seating
to
help
us
get
our
businesses
open
and
back
into
business,
get
the
economy
growing
again,
and
it's
been
done.
It's
been
done
with
the
great
help
from
the
city.
Businesses
help
escalate,
get
it
back
where
we
need
to
be
lately
and
I
really
do
appreciate
what
the
city
has
done.

such
an
important
part
of
it,
and
certainly
the
food
and
Aitkin
is
something
with
the
signature
and
we're
known
for.

pleased

tell
you
that
it's
hopping
over
here
at
the
wing
place,
but
I've
got
a
bonus
for
you
at
the
shopping
center.
Along
with
the
wing
place,
we've
got
Pat's
up
shop
and
Maria's
Mexican
restaurant
si
just
as
much
business,
so
people
are
really
getting
back
into
the
flow
trying
to
reopen
the
economy
and
enjoying
some
time
together.
So
here
at
wing
place,
dick
dickerson,
the
owner
was
one
of
the
first
who
was
able
to
get
set
up
with
us.

They
come
out
at
least
once
a
day
just
to
check
on
us
to
make
sure
we're
doing
everything
we're
supposed
to
do
as
far
as
keeping
it
set
up
the
way
he
hasn't
set
up
and
to
make
sure
all
whose
equipment
is
doing
what
it's
supposed
to
do
so
have
an
all-star
come
out
every
day
to
make
sure
we're
in
line
just
that
much
better.
It's
been
a
great
result
from
the
customers.
They
love
it.
People
are
asking
us
to
keep
the
year
the
10th
year
round.
So
I
don't
know
if
the
cities
will.
