A
Hello
and
thank
you
for
tuning
in
to
this
episode
of
animals,
the
names
my
name
is
Ron
Edwards
I'm,
the
animal
control
supervisor
here
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter
and
animal
control,
and
this
very,
very,
very
cute.
Puppy
that
I
have
here
with
me
is
Amos.
Amos
is
a
four-month-old
lab
mix.
We
understand
from
the
person
who
surrendered
her
to
him
from
us
that
he's
actually
116th
spaniel,
not
quite
sure
how
they
figure
that
out,
but
116th
spaniel.
So
you
can
definitely
see
a
lot
of
labrador
puppy
here
he's
about
four
months
old.
A
Amos
is
available
for
adoption
here
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter.
I
can
guarantee
you.
He
is
going
to
be
adopted
very
quickly,
he's
just
such
a
really
cute
dog
he's
a
young
puppy,
as
I
said
just
four
months
old.
As
with
all
puppies,
as
I
always
talk
about
on
our
show
here,
extremely
important
that
they
get
the
training
that
they
need.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
they're
good
canine
citizens
when
they
when
they
grow
up
and
that
they're
good
with
people
and
other
animals.
A
So
if
you're
interested
in
meeting
Amos
here
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter
come
on
down
I'm,
you
might
want
to
call
us
before
you
come
down
because
he
is
going
to
be
in
high
demand.
I
guarantee
that
Amos
again
is
a
four
month
old
labrador
mix,
puppy,
almost
pure
bred,
a
little
white
stripe
right
here,
but
very
cute.
Puppy
really
excited
wants
to
go
play
with
the
cat
toys
in
this
room.
So
come
on
down
in
meeting
us
at
the
aim.
Shelter.
A
And
our
next
guest
with
us
today
is
Pocahontas.
Pocahontas
I
came
in
to
us
as
a
stray
she's
actually
going
to
be
available
on
the
5th
she
obviously
has
just
recently
had
some
puppies
and
based
on
her
appearance.
She's
probably
had
quite
a
few
puppies
in
her
life,
so
we
are
looking
for
her
owner.
She
is
very
thin.
A
lot
of
that
could
have
to
do
with
all
the
nutrition
going
to
the
puppies.
She
is
a
very
sweet
dog,
we're
really
hoping
that
this
was
her
last
litter
and
and
she's
going
to
get
spayed.
A
I
can
tell
you
that
if
the
owners
do
not
pick
her
up
and
we
find
Pocahontas
a
home,
we're
absolutely
going
to
get
her
spayed,
she
does
not
need
to
have
any
more
puppies,
but
just
a
really
sweet
gentle
dog.
You
can
see
here,
she's
just
loving
this
attention.
She
is
some
sort
of
hound
mix.
All
the
dogs
are
giving
kisses
today,
oh
girl,
but
again
just
a
very
gentle
dog,
sweet
sweet
nature.
Again
we're
going
to
get
her
spayed
before
she
gets
adopted.
If
the
owners
don't
come
in
and
claim
her.
A
A
A
And
our
next
shelter
guest
here
is
Alvin.
Alvin
is
a
very
spunky
little
two
month
old
kitten
he's
really
interested
in
that
camera.
Right
now,
so
you
can
just
sit
up
there.
Alvin
is
a
two
month
old
kind
of
a
domestic
medium.
Haired
kitten
came
into
us
as
a
stray
and
is
going
to
be
neutered
before
he
gets
adopted.
He
does,
of
course,
have
all
of
his
claws
and
we
want
to
make
sure
that
he
keeps
them
we
do.
A
I
do
want
to
mention
again
that
we
do
offer
free
nail
trims
for
life,
so
any
cat
or
kitten
that's
adopted
from
us.
You
can
bring
them
here
and
we
will
get
them
as
we
will
get
there
see
this
little
spunky
kitten.
We
will
get
them,
get
those
nails
trim
for
you,
there's
no
charge
for
that,
and
it's
something
that
we
do
to
encourage
people
to
leave
the
claws.
A
The
way
they
are,
and
so,
if
you're
interested
in
meeting
Alvin
here
again
he's
a
very
spunky
kitten,
and
these
are
some
things
that
you
have
to
kind
of
be
ready
for.
Come
on
down
to
the
aim.
Shelter
we'd
be
happy
to
introduce
you
to
him
and
again
he
has
lots
of
energy
lots
of
playfulness
in
him,
but
he
is
an
eight
week
old,
domestic
medium
hair
cat
and
available
for
adoption
here
at
themes,
animal
shelter.
A
And
our
final
guest
today
is
Sylvia.
Sylvia
is
also
a
domestic,
well
she's,
a
domestic
Shorthair,
so
shorter
hair
than
the
previous
little
kitten.
That
was
here
she's
a
little
bit
more
reserved
she's
a
little
bit
older
from
the
other
kitten,
so
not
quite
as
ornery,
but
definitely
still
playful
a
four
month.
Old
kitten
still
has
lots
of
energy
and
wants
to
play
with
things
and
do
all
that
she's
more
curious
about
all
the
lights
here
and
wondering
why
I'm
talking
and
not
talking
to
her
sophia
is
a
four
month
old
domestic
short
hair.
A
She
has
not
been
spayed
yet,
but
she
will
be
spayed
before
she
gets
adopted
or
goes
to
her
new
forever
home.
Hopefully
so,
if
you're
interested
in
meeting
her
she's
got
some
beautiful
coloring
and
here
she's
got
a
little
bit
of
tortilla
colouring
along
with
these
tiger.
Stripes
probably
can't
see
where
well
on
the
camera,
but
there's
some
beautiful
orange
coloring
in
here
that
she
has
this
kind
of
part
of
her
undercoat.
A
A
Alright,
thank
you
for
tuning
in
to
this
episode
of
animals
and
names.
We
hope
you
enjoyed
looking
at
the
animals
that
we
have
available
for
adoption
here
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter.
Just
remember,
that's
just
a
small
sampling
of
the
animals
that
we
have
here
available
for
adoption
keep
an
eye
on
our
website.
It's
updated
every
15
minutes.
If
you
ever
want
to
see.
A
What's
here
at
the
shelter
we
have
pictures
of
all
the
animals
online
and
a
little
bit
of
information
about
some
of
them,
but
you're
always
welcome
to
call
the
shelter
at
the
phone
number
that
you'll
see.
Are
we
happy
to
give
you
any
information
that
we
have
about
the
pets
here
that
are
available
for
adoption
or,
if
you're,
looking
for
your
pet
thanks
for
watching.
