A
Hello
and
thank
you
for
tuning
in
to
this
episode
of
animals
and
aims.
My
name
is
Ron
Edwards
I'm,
the
animal
control
supervisor
here
for
the
Ames
animal
shelter
and
animal
control
program.
Our
first
guest
with
us
today
is
gingy
as
G
ing
I.
She
is
a
but
a
year
old
were
estimating
domestic
short-haired
Saleh
black,
beautiful
black
coloring,
here
very
sweet
and
lovable
kid
issues
more
interested
in
getting
petting
and,
what's
going
on
around
me
and
the
cameras
and
everything
very
sweet
again
we're
estimating
that
she's
about
a
year
old.
A
She
came
in
to
us
as
a
stray,
so
we
don't
have
any
history
on
her.
Now
she
sees
some
toys.
She
wants
to
go
play
with.
Ok
when
she
was
lay
down,
she
came
in
as
a
stray
didn't
have
any
identification,
no
microchip.
You
should
only
face
you
lay
that
way,
no
microchip,
nothing
to
identify
her
to
get
her
back
to
her
people
again.
A
very
sweet
cat
loves
to
play,
loves
to
be
pet.
A
Probably
one
of
those
would
love
to
sit
on
the
couch
with
you
and
watch
your
favorite
TV
show
hopefully
animals
and
aims,
but
gingy
is
a
female.
She
has
been
spayed
already.
She
was
not
spayed
before
she
came
here,
but
we
had
her
spayed.
She
does
have
all
of
her
claws
and,
as
I
say
in
every
show,
we
want
to
make
sure
that
she
keeps
them
the
shelter
I'll
remind
the
viewers
that
the
shelter
does
offer
free
nail
trims
for
life.
A
So
if
you
adopt
gingy,
you
can
bring
her
back
here
and
for
the
rest
of
her
life.
We
will
continue
to
trim
her
nails,
for
you
will
also
show
you
how
to
do
that
yourself.
If
you
wanted
to
do
that
in
your
home,
sometimes
a
little
more
stressful
to
put
the
cat
in
the
carrier
and
bring
them
here
to
the
shelter
than
it
is
to
just
do
that
at
home
yourself.
But
if
you
don't
feel
comfortable,
that
is
the
service
that
we
provide
to
adopters
here
of
our
cats.
A
I
mean
it's
one
way
for
us
to
ensure
that
the
cats
keep
their
claws,
because
it
is
so
important
to
us
and,
of
course,
very
important
to
the
cats.
So
again,
this
is
gingy,
but
a
year
old
were
estimating
very
sweet
kidding
if
you're
interested
in
meeting
her
bring
the
family
down.
We'd
love
to
introduce
her
to
you
and
see
if
she
might
be
the
right
Kitty
for
your
home.
A
And
our
next
guest
today
is
Martin.
Martin
also
came
in
to
us
as
a
stray
just
like
gingy
and
Martin
is
a
male.
He
has
not
been
neutered
yet
and
he
will
be
neuter
before
he
gets
adopted
again
just
to
let
the
viewers
know
all
of
the
animals
that
are
adopted
from
the
ames
animal
shelter
are
spayed
or
neutered
before
they
get
adopted.
We've
actually
just
initiated
a
policy
that
all
rabbits
are
now
going
to
be
spayed
or
later
before
they
get
adopted,
and
obviously
Martin
has
an
opinion
on
that.
A
But
it's
very
important
to
us
that
we
help
stop
two
in
the
pet
overpopulation
issues,
so
we're
going
to
make
sure
that
nothing
when
it
leaves
a
shelter
here
can
reproduce.
There's
enough
homeless
animals
out
there
that
need
to
be
adopted
into
homes.
We
don't
need
to
be
adding
to
that
doing.
Martin
Martin
was
a
stray
again
just
as
gingy
no
identification,
no
microchip
and
just
as
loving
as
Jenji.
So
no
one's
come
to
claim
him.
So
now,
Martin
is
available
for
adoption.
A
Again,
a
fairy
he's
just
pushing
his
head
into
me,
so
I
pet
him
here,
a
very
loving,
loving
cat.
He
seems
to
be
okay
with
other
cats.
He
didn't
seem
to
mind
when
we
were
walking
by
and
taking
him
to
be
a
star,
so
he
may
get
along
with
other
cats.
So
if
you
have
another
cat
at
home,
he
may
be
one
to
consider.
A
If
not,
he
would
be
a
great
cat
by
himself
he's
probably
making
some
noise
on
the
microphone
there,
but
a
very,
very,
very
loving
cat,
beautiful
buff
coloring.
This
is
the
coloring.
Some
people
may
say
that's
kind
of
an
orange.
You
can
kind
of
see
the
tabby
stripes
in
here
if
you're.
Looking
real
close,
I'm
not
sure
that
that
comes
out
on
the
camera,
but
hello,
but
he
is
what
you
would
call
a
buff
colored
cat,
beautiful
cat.
A
A
lot
of
personality
likes
to
talk
he's
been
a
little
bit
quieter
than
he
normally
is
in
his
in
his
little
kennel
over
there.
But
you
could
see
he's
just
a
bundle
of
love
and
would
be
another
great
one
to
come
into
the
house
and
sit
on
the
TV
and
watch
the
episode
of
animals
and
aims,
along
with
some
other
shows.
So
if
you're
interested
in
Martin
would
like
to
meet
him
here
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter
come
on
down,
we'd
be
happy
to
introduce
them
to
you.
A
And
our
next
guest
today
is
Rose
Marie
Rose
Marie
is
actually
our
longest
cat
resident.
At
this
point,
many
of
you
who
watch
us
on
Facebook
had
seen
that
Sally
just
got
adopted.
Sally
had
been
here
for
over
six
months
or
at
least
really
close
to
six
months,
if
not
more,
and
so
she
got
adopted,
and
now
we
have
Rose
Marie
Rose
Marie
is
actually
are
now
longest.
Cat
resident
she's
a
little
shy
here
in
this
room.
A
You
know
she
would
really
do
well
and
probably
thrive,
an
environment,
that's
quiet,
maybe
a
senior
home
we're,
probably
a
home
without
no
small
children.
She
does
get
scared
by
noises,
and
even
the
camera
and
lights
in
this
room
are
kind
of
scaring
her
so,
but
definitely
has
not
shown
us
any
negative
behaviors
she
does
have
all
of
her
claws
came
into
us
as
a
stray,
so
we
don't
have
a
whole
lot
of
history
about
her,
but
she
has
been
at
the
shelter
as
of
today.
A
The
taping
of
the
show
she's
been
here
with
us
for
a
hundred
and
eighty
days,
so
we'd
love
to
be
able
to
see
and
send
Rose
Marie
into
a
new
home,
as
you
can
see,
she's
just
really
scared
here.
So
we're
going
to
keep
this
short,
but
Rose
Marie
is
an
adult
cat
has
all
of
her
claws
if
you're
interested
in
meeting
her
and
you
have
a
home,
thats
quiet,
no,
really,
no
small
children
and
you
just
want
a
cat
to
relax
with
Rose
Marie
is
probably
going
to
be
a
really
good
bet.
A
She's
got
this
beautiful
chemical
coloring,
with
some
torti
stripes
in
here
tiger
stripes,
beautiful
patches
of
white
and
orange,
and
just
a
beautiful
cat,
and
you
can
just
tell
she's
scared,
so
we're
going
to
put
her
back
and
we
don't
want
her
to
be
any
more
stress
than
she
already
is.
So
if
you're
interested
in
meeting
her
come
on
down
to
the
Ames
animal
shelter.
A
Thank
you
for
watching
this
episode
of
animals
and
aims.
Remember
that's
just
a
sampling
of
the
animals
we
have
available
for
adoption.
I
just
went
through
our
cat
kennels
and
we
have
about
26
cats
right
now
that
are
looking
for
homes.
All
of
our
dogs
currently
have
adoption
holds,
but
we
do
have
some
so
check
out
our
website,
we're
still
accepting
applications
for
our
German
Shepherd
and
also
for
a
hound
mix
that
we
have.
So
please
look
at
our
website.
You
can
see
which
ones
are
available
for
adoption.
A
We
also
have
three
rabbits
that
are
still
waiting
for
their
forever
homes,
so
spread
that
news
to
your
family,
your
friends
and
share
that
we
are
looking
for
homes
for
these
animals,
we're
getting
really
close
to
all
the
holidays
coming
up
and
we
love
for
these
animals
to
be
home
for
the
holidays.
Thank
you
for
watching.
