A
Hello
and
thank
you
for
tuning
in
to
this
episode
of
animals
and
Ames.
My
name
is
Ron
Edwards
I'm,
the
animal
control
supervisor
here
for
the
Ames,
Animal,
Shelter
and
animal
control
program.
Our
first
guest
here
with
us
today
is
the
very
rambunctious
Jackson
Jackson
is
an
11
month
old,
Labrador
mix.
He
was
just
surrendered
yesterday,
so
he's
still
kind
of
getting
to
know
us
and
the
environments
he
was
surrendered
because
the
owner
really
didn't
have
the
time
for
him
that
Jackson
needed
and
as
an
11
month
old,
still
very
much
a
puppy.
A
A
He
I
think
he's
eager
to
learn
and
wouldn't
take
long
to
get
him
to
learn
some
basic
tricks,
but
he
is
available
for
adoption.
He
is
already
neutered,
so
he
is
ready
to
go.
We're
gonna
start
accepting
applications
on
him
today,
so
we'll
continue
to
accept
those
applications
until
we
get
a
good
pool
with
people
that
are
gonna,
make
a
provide
a
good
home
for
this
beautiful
dog.
It's
got
a
beautiful
coat
here.
A
It
appears
to
be
very
sweet
again,
just
a
very
playful
young
dog,
so
we
want
to
make
sure
that
he
gets
the
right
home
and
finds
that
great
forever
home,
where
he's
going
to
live
out
his
life
and
get
all
the
attention
that
puppies
deserve
and
need.
So,
if
you're
interested
here
in
Jackson
come
on
down
to
the
Ames
Animal
Shelter.
A
A
It's
the
Leo
and
Nash
bonded
pair
again,
they're
brothers,
they're
about
nine
months
old
they're,
originally
adopted
from
us
as
much
younger
kittens
and
unfortunately
they're
a
doctor
had
some
medical
issues
of
her
own
and
it
just
broke
her
heart
that
she
had
to
surrender
these
two
cats
that
are
so
bonded
together.
So
we
want
to
make
sure
that
we
do
everything
we
can
to
fulfill
her
wishes
and
keep
these
guys
together.
So
we
do
have
our
pet
adoption
special
two-for-one,
so
Leo
and
Nash
and
again
this
is
Nash.
A
You'll
meet
Leo
next,
but
there
are
nine
month
old,
kittens
still
very
playful,
very
active
they're,
often
seen
inside
their
kennel
sleeping
together
up
on
their
bed
or
cuddling
or
just
playing
with
each
other
with
their
toys
that
they
have
in
their
kennel.
So
again,
Leo
and
Nash
are
very
bonded.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
they
get
adopted
together.
They
do
have
all
of
their
claws
and
they've
already
been
neutered,
so
they
are
ready
to
be
adopted
if
you're
interested
in
this
bonded
pair
come
on
down
to
the
shelter
again.
A
And
here
is
the
second
part
of
the
banda
brothers.
This
one
here
is
Leo,
so
Leo,
as
you
can
see
here,
is
beautiful.
He's
got
some
beautiful,
tabby
stripes
in
here.
Hopefully
you
can
see
that
really
well
on
the
camera.
Again,
both
kittens
are
very
friendly,
very
well
socialized
and
very
bonded
together.
So
we
want
to
make
sure
that
Leo
and
Nash
get
adopted
together
again.
They
are
brothers
from
the
same
litter
and
Leo
and
Nash
or
nine
months
old
they're,
both
neutered.
A
They
do
have
all
their
claws
and
we're
looking
for
that
perfect
indoor
home
for
these
guys
where
they
can
keep
the
claws
and
stay
indoors
where
they're
going
to
be
safe.
So
if
you're
interested
in
Leo
and
Nash
come
on
down
to
the
shelter
we
again
will
be
adopting
them
only
as
a
pair,
we
will
not
be
separating
a
brother,
so
they're
gonna,
be
our
bonded
buddies
for
life
and
want
to
adopt
them
out
together.
So
if
you're
interested
in
these
two
guys
come
on
down
to
meet
them,.
A
And
our
next
guest
today
is
Miranda.
Miranda
came
in
to
us
as
a
stray,
so
we
don't
know
much
about
her
history.
We're
estimating
that
she's
under
a
year
old.
She
is
a
beautiful
she's
got
a
little
bit
of
every
color
I
think
possible.
Here,
she's
got
some
orange
tabby
they're
stripe
she's
got
some
gray
tabby
stripe
she's
got
some
white,
so
kind
of
get
some
diluted,
calico
mixed
in
there.
A
So
all
kinds
of
different
colors
here
for
this
little
active
young
girl,
she
has
not
been
spayed
yet
so
work,
of
course,
gonna
make
sure
that
she
is
spayed
before
she
goes
home
and
she
is
just
a
very
loving
kitty.
Loves
the
attention.
Be
nice.
If
you
turn
around
show
everybody
your
pretty
face.
Just
loves
that
petting
and
one
of
those
cats
that
I
could
imagine
would
be
a
great
lap
kitty.
One.
A
That's
gonna
sit
at
home
with
you
and
watch
the
TV
and
just
have
a
good
old
time
and
be
indoors
and
be
safe
and
enjoy
life
with
the
new
family.
So
Miranda
is
looking
for
that
forever
home,
where
of
course,
her
I
think
she's
very
active.
We
are,
of
course,
gonna
make
sure
that
she
gets
paid
before
she
goes
home.
That's
already
been
scheduled,
so
if
you're
interested
in
Miranda
a
very
active
kitty,
but
one
that's
probably
going
to
be
a
really
nice
lap
kitty,
just
because
she
loves
that
attention.
A
Thank
you
for
watching
this
episode
of
animals
names
that
was
just
a
small
sampling
of
the
animals
we
have
available
here
for
adoption
at
the
Ames
Animal
Shelter,
remember
to
adopt
from
a
shelter
if
it's
not
from
Nimes
animal
shelter.
There's
lots
of
amazing
shelters
that
do
great
work
here.
The
story
county,
animal
shelter,
the
Boone
Area
Humane
Society,
the
Animal
Rescue
League
of
Iowa
are
just
three
agencies
that
are
not
too
far
from
Ames,
where
you
can
find
some
amazing
animals.
A
So
if
you
don't
find
what
you're
looking
for
it,
the
Ames
Animal
Shelter
go
to.
One
of
those
shelters
in
closing
I
definitely
want
to
say
a
special
thank
you
to
the
Iowa
home
consulting
organization.
It's
one
of
our
community
partners.
They
are
offering
to
donate
$50
for
every
single
pet
adoption
that
we
have
between
now
and
the
end
of
the
year,
so
December
31st.
A
So
we
are
looking
to
hopefully
clean
out
and
adopt
out
all
of
the
animals
that
are
in
the
shelter
and
again
Iowa
home
consulting
is
going
to
donate
$50
for
every
animal.
That's
adopted
they're
also
partnering,
with
the
Bou
nari
Humane
Society,
and
the
Story
County
Animal
Shelter,
so
check
with
those
agencies
to
see
what
kind
of
programs
they
have
going
on
there
again.
It's
just
such
a
wonderful
offer.
A
Matthew
and
Laura
Brandner
are
just
amazing
partners
for
the
shelter
they
work
with
tasia
blue
rescue
and
just
do
incredible
work
for
the
Siberian
Huskies
of
Malamutes.
We've
worked
with
them
several
times
and
placing
some
Huskies
with
them,
and
they
just
do
incredible
work
so
Matthew
Laura.
Thank
you
so
much
for
all
your
support,
we're
very
happy
and
proud
to
work
with
the
Iowa
home
consulting
and
get
these
donations
for
all
the
animals
adopted.
So
let's
get
all
the
animals
adopted
for
home
for
the
holidays
and
then
we'll
get
some
amazing
donations.
