A
A
She
is
one
of
our
part-time
animal
control
officers
here
on
our
team,
one
of
the
newest
members
on
our
team-
and
we
couldn't
be
happier
that
she
has
joined
she's,
got
a
heart
of
gold
and
very
compassionate
with
the
animals
and
people
that
she
works
with
every
day
so
very
proud
to
have
lisa
on
the
team.
Let's
meet
lisa
and
see
the
three
cats
and
set
of
guinea
pigs
that
she's
going
to
show
you
that
are
available
for
adoption
today
at
the
ames
animal
shelter.
B
B
He
is
estimated
to
be
about
two
and
a
half
years
old
and
he
is
fiv
positive,
which
is
the
feline
version
of
hiv,
and
it
doesn't
need
to
deter
you
from
adopting
him.
Basically,
you
just
want
to
make
sure
if
he
does
have
any
sniffles
any
upper
respiratory
that
those
are
treated
quickly.
You,
of
course,
would
want
to
talk
to
your
veterinarian
about
their
recommendations
for
having
an
fiv
positive
cat.
As
you
can
see,
curtis
is
a
handsome
boy
and
he
is
an
absolute
cuddler.
B
It's
people
assume,
because
of
the
fiv
positive
status
that
he
cannot
be
around
other
cats
and
generally
it's
transmitted
transmitted
through
mating
or
from
the
mother
to
the
babies.
So
it
is
unknown
how
curtis
came
to
get
fiv,
but
you
should
not
have
to
worry
about
him
transmitting
it
to
other
cats
in
your
home.
B
B
This
little
lady
is
peaches
she's
about
seven
and
a
half
years
old.
She
was
actually
previously
adopted
from
us
and
could
not
handle
the
other
cats
in
the
home.
So,
unfortunately,
her
family
had
to
surrender
her.
She
does
have
a
condition
called
tmj,
and
really
the
only
thing
that
we
have
noticed
is
when
she's
overly
stressed
her
jaw
can
lock
that's
another
reason
why
she
probably
would
be
best
in
a
cat
only
home.
B
B
B
They
are
wonderful
pets
to
have,
and
I
can
tell
you
that
when
they
hear
a
crinkle
of
a
wrapper,
they
assume
that
it
is
time
for
a
snack,
so
they
will
start
squeaking
and
chirping,
but
these
guys
are
available
for
adoption
and,
like
I
said
they
are
a
bonded
pair,
so
they
would
go
home
together.
We
actually
have
three
sets
of
guinea
pigs
right
now
that
are
looking
for
their
forever
home.
A
Well,
that's
the
show.
I
want
to
thank
everybody
for
tuning
in
today.
Remember
you
can
always
see
all
of
the
animals
available
for
adoption
at
ames
animal
shelter,
dot,
org,
that's
our
website!
It's
updated
every
30
minutes.
So
if
you've
lost
a
pet
you're
looking
for
a
pet
go
to
that
website,
you'll
see
a
picture
of
every
animal.
That's
here
at
the
shelter
very
important
to
us
that
we
keep
that
going
and
updated.
A
It's
an
automated
process
so
check
back
with
us,
often
to
see
the
animals
that
are
available
for
adoption,
also
check
out
our
facebook
page
to
facebook.com,
slash
animals,
ames
animal
shelter,
see
what's
happening
at
the
shelter
and
what
we're
doing
to
help
animals
here
in
our
community
here
in
ames.
Thanks
for
watching.
