A
Hello
and
thank
you
for
tuning
in
and
watching
this
episode
of
animals
and
aims.
My
name
is
Ron
Edwards
I'm,
the
animal
control
supervisor
here
for
the
city
of
Ames,
animal
shelter
and
animal
control
services
program-
and
today
here
with
me,
is
rosebud.
Rosebud
is
a
very
sweet
six-month-old,
approximately
six
month
old
chihuahua.
We
do
believe
she
probably
is
purebred.
She
has
not
been
spayed
yet
so
we're
going
to
get
her
spayed
before
we
get
her
adopted.
She
came
in
with
this
little
cute
little
bell
here,
but
no
identification
and
no
microchip
no
tag.
A
We've
held
her
did
time
for
her
owners
to
come
and
pick
her
up
and
they
haven't
shown
up
so
now.
Rosebud
is
available
for
adoption,
very,
very
sweet,
little
dog
and,
as
I
always
say
with
puppies,
they
need
lots
of
training
so
make
sure
you
get
rosebud
into
some
training,
but
she
is
available
here
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter
again
about
six
months
old,
so
it
needs
to
be
spayed
before
she
goes
home,
but
just
a
bit
rosebud
is
a
big
love
bug
and
this
seems
to
love
everybody
but
needs.
A
A
And
here
we
have
kipper
kipper
came
into
us
as
a
stray
we're
calling
him
kind
of
a
Jack
Russell
terrier
mix.
He
does
have
this
cute
little
short
tail
back
here
when
he
came
into
the
shelter.
He
was
really
scared.
Didn't
have
a
lot
of
trust
for
people
and
wasn't
really
sure
where
he
was,
but
he's
really
come
around
he's
really
becoming
a
nice
dog.
One
of
the
volunteers.
A
Again,
don't
have
much
about
his
history
came
in
as
a
stray
came
in
with
the
collar,
but
just
like
rose,
but
didn't
have
any
information,
no
ID
tags
or
callers.
So
it's
you
know
so
extremely
important
to
put
identification
on
your
pets.
You
can't
just
put
a
collar
on
them.
You
need
to
put
the
identification
on
them
and
we
could
have
got
kipper
right
back
to
his
family.
So
he's
available
here
at
the
Ames
animal
shelters
to
come
on
down
and
meet
kipper
he's
waiting
for
a
forever
home
and
a
forever
family.
A
And
here
I
have
with
me:
Karen
Karen
is
one
of
the
several
kittens
that
we
have
here
at
themes:
animal
shelter,
she's,
just
a
tiny
little
thing
and
still
needs
to
gain
some
more
weight
before
she
can
be
spayed.
But
she
is
a
female
we're,
estimating
she's,
probably
between
six
and
seven
weeks
old
came
in
as
a
stray
still
needs
to
learn
to
trust
people
a
little
bit
better
she's.
A
You
know
a
little
scared
and
of
course
in
here
with
all
these
lights,
so
it's
kind
of
scary
for
her,
but
just
a
really
sweet,
little
kitten,
probably
about
two
more
weeks
before
she'll
be
able
to
be
adopted,
but
you
can
come
on
down
to
the
Ames
animal
shelter
and
put
your
name
in
for
Karen
and
again
she's,
just
one
of
the
many
kittens
that
we
have
available.
This
is
the
middle
of
kitten
season.
So
we're
going
to
have
lots
of
kittens
for
the
next,
probably
several
months.
A
And
here
I
have
opus.
Who
is
a
very
playful
kitten?
You
know
we
always
like
to
highlight
the
little
black
kittens.
They
tend
to
be
the
last
ones
that
get
adopted,
don't
know
what
it
is
about
their
coloring,
but
it
just
seemed
to
be
harder
to
get
adopted,
but
this
is
just
a
really
special
little
guy
here
he
is
available
to
be
adopted.
He
still
needs
to
be
neutered
and
that's
going
to
happen
in
the
next
few
days.
He's
old
enough
we're
estimating
he's
about
10
to
12
weeks,
old
and
I.
A
Don't
know
if
you
can
see
him
there,
but
he
has
got
the
most
beautiful
kind
of
brown
eyes
on
this
kitty
and
just
a
just
a
love
bug
here.
We
have
so
many
great
cats
here
at
the
shelter
I've
just
shown
you
two
of
the
kittens
today,
but
we
have
quite
a
few
more
that
are
available
for
adoption
and
don't
forget
about
the
adult
cats.
They
tend
to
stay
here
at
the
shelter
longer
when
the
kittens
are
getting
adopted,
and
we
have
some
amazing
of
golf
cats
that
really
need
to
find
their
forever
homes
again.
A
A
Thank
