A
Hi
and
welcome
to
this
episode
of
animals
and
ames,
my
name
is
ron
edwards
and
I'm
the
animal
control
supervisor
for
the
ames
animal
shelter
and
animal
control
division.
Today,
the
first
shelter
guest
that
you're
going
to
meet
is
tina,
tina's,
a
very
active
dog,
although
she's
being
a
really
good
girl
right
now
she
is
a
mixed
breed.
Extraordinaire
we're
not
really
sure
what
makes
up
tina
other
than
she's.
A
Just
a
real
lovable
dog
she's
got
this
beautiful,
brendol,
coloring
and
dog
doctail
here,
but
really
really
sweet
dog
loves
people
came
in
as
a
stray
and
didn't
have
any
microchip
or
any
collars
or
tags,
but
just
definitely
a
really
gentle
and
sweet
dog
and
would
love
to
be
part
of
a
forever
family
wants
to
be
an
indoor
dog
as
all
of
our
pets
do
and
come
on
down
and
meet
her.
She
still
needs
to
be
spayed.
We
think
she's
about
a
year
old.
A
A
A
We
think
there's
some,
maybe
some
labrador
retriever,
maybe
some
pitbull,
maybe
some
pointer
in
here
he's
kind
of
a
heinz
57,
but
just
the
cutest
thing
in
the
world
a
little
puppy
just
three
months
old
he's
already
been
neutered
and
he's
got
his
initial
vaccinations,
so
he
will
need
his
rabies
shot
shortly,
which
is
extremely
important,
and
the
most
important
thing
is
that
he
is
a
puppy.
So
he's
going
to
need
lots
of
training,
he's
kind
of
nice
and
calm
now.
A
I
think
we
wore
him
out
a
little
walk
earlier,
but
he
needs
lots
of
training
as
all
puppies
do
it's
so
important.
It
makes
them
good,
canine
citizens,
you
want
to
make
sure
you
introduce
them
to
a
lot
of
different
people.
So
he's
really
well.
Socialized
he's
already
doing
a
well
good
job
of
that
already,
but
I
want
to
make
sure
that
he's
a
well-behaved
puppy
and
a
good
member
of
the
canine
society
so
come
on
down
and
take
a
look
at
huck
he's
already
neutered.
A
He
is
three
months
old
and
we're
saying
that
he's
kind
of
a
labrador
retriever,
maybe
pit
bull,
possibly
pointer,
mix-
he's
got
some
kind
of
pointer
coloring
in
him,
but
just
a
really
sweet
dog
good
manners
at
this
point,
but
so
important
for
the
training
so
come
on
down
and
take
a
look
at
huck.
A
And
here
I
have
with
me
the
first
of
our
feline
guests.
This
is
sundown.
Sundown
came
into
us
as
a
stray
and
didn't
have
any
identification
or
microchip,
so
we
were
not
able
to
re
reunite
sundown
with
his
owners
he's
already
neutered.
He
does
have
all
of
his
claws,
so
he
is
available
for
adoption.
Now
he's
just
kind
of
getting
used
to
this
room
and
our
volunteers
just
came.
A
He
was
just
just
passed
through
his
minimum
holding
time
so
he's
now
available
for
adoption
here
at
the
ames
animal
shelter,
we're
estimating
that
he's
an
adult
so
he's
over
a
year
of
age,
again,
he's
already
neutered
and
available
for
adoption
now
so
come
on
down
and
take
a
look
at
sundown
seems
to
be
a
pretty
gentle
cat,
beautiful
coloring.
A
Okay-
and
here
we
have
bianca,
bianca,
actually
came
into
us.
We
named
her
milani,
but
we
found
out
that
bianca
had
a
microchip.
We
scan
all
the
animals
when
they
come
in
here
to
the
shelter
and
bianca
had
a
microchip.
Unfortunately,
the
information
was
outdated,
so
we
were
unable
to
return
bianca
to
her
former
owners.
A
She
has
been
with
us
as
a
stray
and
her
straight
period
has
elapsed,
so
she's
now
available
for
adoption
and
as
with
all
of
our
animals.
Here
we
will
keep
them
here
for
adoption.
As
long
as
it
takes,
she
is
a
beautiful
cat.
She's
got
this
beautiful
white
coat
and
these
beautiful
markings
here
and
really
makes
little
distinct
characteristics
about
her,
but
she's.
A
Just
such
a
sweet
cat
again,
the
owners
did
not
change
their
information
with
the
microchip
company
and
it's
so
important
when
you
have
a
microchip
in
the
pet
to
make
sure
that
information
is
kept
updated
and
you
always
want
to
make
sure
you
have
additional
contacts
as
well
find
a
friend
or
family
member.
That
always
has
the
same
phone
always
lives
in
the
same
location.
A
A
A
And
thank
you
for
watching
this
episode
of
animals
and
ames
we're
proud
to
present
just
a
few
of
the
animals
that
are
here
at
the
ames
animal
shelter
available
for
adoption.
There's
always
new
ones
coming
in
so
come
on
down
to
the
ames
animal
shelter
and
take
a
look
and
see
what
we
have
available
for
adoption.
A
I
also
want
to
put
a
reminder
out
there
about
the
spring
animals
that
you're
going
to
see
there's
a
lot
of
wild
animals
that
are
going
to
be
out
and
about
during
the
warmer
weather
months,
you're
going
to
see
babies
out
there,
possums
skunks
raccoons,
just
a
plethora
of
different
animals
that
you
normally
don't
see,
and
what
we
always
want
to
do
is
remind
people
is
just
to
let
them
be
stay
away
from
them.
They
will
move
on
their
way.
A
They've
been
here
for
many
many
many
years
way
before
we
were,
and
it's
best
is
to
live
with
them,
learn
to
coexist
with
them.
If
you
do
see
one
that
appears
to
be
injured
or
sick,
don't
hesitate
to
give
us
a
call,
we'd
love
to
send
staff
out
there
and
talk
to
you
about
that
and
see.
If
we
can
help
the
animals,
but
most
times
you
just
want
to,
let
them
be
they'll
go
on
their
way.
