A
Hello
and
thank
you
for
tuning
in
to
this
episode
of
animals
and
aims.
My
name
is
Ron
Edwards
I'm,
the
animal
control
supervisor
here
for
the
Ames
animal
shelter
and
animal
control
program,
and
I'm
going
to
show
you
just
four
of
the
cutest
kittens
you've
ever
seen
today
and
if
you
can
hear
this
one
here,
this
is
Paddington
who's
playing
with
my
fingers
and
by
the
way
playing
with
kittens
with
your
fingers
is
probably
not
the
best
way.
A
You
want
to
use
some
toys
to
do
that
because
they
can
scratch
you
and,
of
course,
we
want
to
make
sure
that
they
keep
their
claws
and
keep
them
trim
and
just
want
to
remind
adopters
that
we
do
trim
nails
for
life
on
any
cat
that
you
adopt
here
from
the
shelter
and
it's
for
free.
So
all
you
do
is
call
us
make
sure
that
we
have
the
staff
here
available,
bring
your
adopted
kitty
down
and
we'll
be
happy
to
trim
those
nails
for
you
for
free.
A
It's
our
commitment
to
helping
people,
not
declaw
the
cats
that
they've
adopted,
hear
from
our
shelter.
So
the
first
kitten
here
we
have
is
Paddington.
He
is
just
a
playful
ball
of
fur,
as
all
of
our
kittens
are,
and
we
actually
have
the
next
three
kittens
here
kind
of
running
on
the
round
on
the
room,
so
Paddington's,
probably
looking
at
them
wondering
why
can't
I
be
down
there
with
them,
but
he
is
just
a
little
kitten
about
10
weeks
old.
A
He
is
scheduled
to
be
neutered,
I
believe
next
week,
so
we
are
currently
accepting
applications
on
all
four
of
these
kittens
that
we
have
here
at
the
shelter.
We
also
have
other
kittens
that
are
available
for
adoption
as
well.
So
if
you're
looking
for
a
kitten,
I
want
to
add
a
kitten
to
your
household
into
your
family,
we
are
adopting
these
guys.
Of
course
we
want
them
to
be
an
indoor
only
kitten
as
with
all
of
our
cats
and
our
dogs.
A
We
want
them
to
be
with
the
family,
so,
no
matter
what
animal
you
adopt
here
from
the
shelter,
we
want
to
make
sure
that
it's
going
to
be
indoors,
it's
going
to
be
safe.
We
know
that
winter
is
just
right
around
the
corner
and
it's
not
going
to
be
long
before
we
have
snow
on
the
ground
and
we
just
want
to
make
sure
that
these
guys
are
going
to
be
safe
and
secure
in
that
environment.
So
this
is
Paddington.
A
Paddington
is
described
as
having
a
little
bit
more
black
on
him
and
you'll
notice.
The
difference
in
the
next
one
that
I'm
going
to
show
you
but
he's
looking
down
there
at
his
siblings
and
his
friends,
his
kennel
mates
that
he's
very
he
enjoys
playing
with
every
day.
So,
if
you're
interested
in
paddington
area
of
the
kittens
we're
going
to
show
today
come
on
down
to
the
shelter,
we
are
accepting
applications
on
them
and
we
can
explain
that
whole
process
to
you.
A
And
our
next
guest
today
is
Coraline.
Coraline
is
Paddington
sister
and
just
with
as
Paddington
she
is
full
of
energy.
One
stir
wants
to
know
why
she's
down
up
here
when
she
should
be
down
there
running
with
all
of
her
friends
and
her
brother,
so
Coraline
is
also
10
weeks
old.
She
is
also
scheduled
to
be
spayed,
so
she
will
be
spayed
before
she
gets
adopted
and
just
a
note
to
our
viewers.
We
do
not
release
any
animals
from
the
Ames
animal
shelter
without
being
spayed
and
neutered.
A
So
that's
very
important
to
us
and
very
important
for
the
pet
overpopulation
issues
that
we
face,
and
that
includes
our
bunnies.
That
wasn't
always
something
that
we
did
in
the
past,
but
now
we're
doing
that
and
talking
about
bunny
as
you'll
see
a
bunny
at
the
end
of
the
show
here.
But
this
is
Coraline
again
she
is
Paddington's.
The
first
kiddy
you
saw
that's
her
brother,
beautiful
kitten
here
she
is
scheduled
for
spay
surgery.
A
A
A
So
this
one
here
is
Slater
the
next
one
you'll
see
is
shade,
and
these
were
also
accepting
applications
on.
So,
if
you're
interested
in
adopting
one
of
these
kittens
or
any
of
the
other
cats
that
we
have
here,
we
have
some
amazing
adult
cats
to
come
on
down
to
the
shelter
our
staff
would
love
to
introduce
you
to
them.
A
And
here
is
our
final
kitten
guest
today
we
have
shade
shade.
Is
the
brother
to
the
last
kitten
that
you
just
saw
up
here?
Also
eight
weeks
old,
of
course,
and
very
energetic
wants
to
go
down
there
and
play
with
all
the
kittens,
but
just
a
great
kit
in
here
they're
having
a
wonderful
time
in
this
room
here,
so
we're
going
to
let
them
hang
out
in
the
room
play
with
each
other
and
spend
some
time
together.
They
are
kennel
mate,
so
they've
gotten
pretty
accustomed
to
each
other.
We're
accepting
applications
on
all
these
kittens.
A
If
you
want
to
consider
adopting
one
of
these
kittens
come
on
down
to
the
shelter
we'd
also
be
interested
in
adopting
more
than
one.
So
if
you're,
an
approved,
adopter
and
you'd
be
interested
in
adopting
two
kittens
often
times,
we
give
those
preference
over
single
adoptions,
because
that
will
give
them
a
buddy
and
playmate
for
them
to
be
with
when
you're
at
work
or
you're
at
class.
Whatever
is
keeping
you
busy
in
your
life
will
have
they'll
have
a
buddy
to
play
with,
just
as
there
are
now
so
come
on
down
to
the
shelter.
A
And
our
final
guest
for
the
day
is
August.
August
is
a
big
French
lop
you
see
here,
and
they
get
that
name
from
the
ears
that
you
see
there.
You
can
show
them
in
the
camera.
There
he's
getting
excited
with
all
of
his
veggies
here
he's
a
French
lop
he's
what
they
call
the
booty.
Color
she's
got
this
beautiful
brown
and
if
you
could
see
how
close
with
the
camera
there,
but
he's
got
this
beautiful
speckling
and
his
hair
in
his
fur
here,
that's
just
really.
Cute
August
came
to
us
as
a
stray.
A
A
We
don't
want
them
to
be
adopted
into
rabbit
hutches.
We
want
them
to
live
indoors
with
people
where
they're
safe
from
the
weather,
where
they're
going
to
be
safe
from
predators.
They
are
a
significant
prey:
animal
there's
lots
of
wild
animals
out
there,
including
domestic
animals,
dogs
and
others
that
use
them
for
food.
So
we
don't
want
that
to
happen
here
to
August,
so
it's
much
safer
if
they
are
kept
in
a
home
environment
where
the
temperature
is
controlled
and
they're
going
to
be
safe
from
those
predators.
A
One
of
the
things
I
always
talk
about
when
we
have
the
rabbits
on
the
show
for
adoption
is
the
research
that
we
want
people
to
do
rabbit
org
is
an
excellent
website.
It's
the
house
rabbit
society's
website,
there's
chapters
all
throughout
the
United
States
and
they
provide
information
to
people
who
are
considering
adopting
a
bunny
providing
the
appropriate
diet
for
them.
The
right
housing
for
them
lots
of
great
information.
So
we
ask
all
of
our
potential
adopters
to
review
that
website
before
they
come
down
here
to
adopt.
You
want
to
get
some
good
information.
A
You
want
to
make
sure
you're
providing
the
appropriate
environment
for
these
guys.
August
is
a
good-sized
bunny
and
he
deserves
a
great
home.
He
deserves
a
home.
It's
going
to
give
him
all
the
opportunity
for
exercising
for
running
playing,
doing
all
the
things
that
bunnies
love
to
do.
They
are
truly
amazing
pets,
but
they're,
not
a
pet
for
everybody
I'm.
It
does
require
special
attention.
A
Special
medical
care
and
only
a
few
vets
actually
do
have
expertise
in
dealing
with
bunnies,
and
so
there's
only
a
few
here
in
town
that
we
would
recommend
to
people
that
they
go
to
as
they
are
special
exotic
animals
and
do
require
special
vet
care.
When
something
you
know
if
they
were
to
get
sick
or
get
injured,
they
do
have
special
needs.
It's
very
important
that
they're
cared
for
one
of
the
things
we're
going
to
show
you
here.
Next
is
the
environment
we
have
set
up
here
for
them
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter.
A
You
can
see
here
that
we
have
a
litter
box
that
is
filled
with
hay
now.
This
is
actually
serves
two
purposes.
Hey
is
a
very
important
part
of
the
rabbits
diet.
They
need
to
get
a
lot
of
hey
it's
very
important
for
them.
It
helps
with
our
digestive
system.
They
also
use
this
litter
box
here
to
go
poop
in.
They
also
go
pee
on
those
as
well.
So
it
helps
to
keep
things
nice
and
clean
and
you'll
see
that
this
kennel
here
is
set
up
on
towels.
A
You
can
also
use
sheets
and
it
helps
to
control
the
rabbit
pellets.
The
poop
that
comes
out-
and
you
see
here
with
a
big
bunny
like
this.
It
there's
a
lot
of
pellets
that
come
out
and
you
also
see
in
there.
We
have
a
tunnel
for
him
to
play
in.
You
have
water
bowls,
a
water
bowl,
a
big
crock,
they
drink
a
lot
of
water,
so
it's
really
important
that
they
have
access
to
fresh,
clean
water
all
the
time.
A
You
also
see
that
there's
a
bowl
full
of
pellets
to
that's,
also
another
important
part
of
the
diet
for
the
bunnies,
and
you
see
some
toys
in
there
for
them
to
plate
with.
They
are
very
active
little
creatures
and
the
exercise
pan
that
you
see
them
in
there
gives
them
a
lot
of
opportunity
for
exercise.
A
So,
even
if
the
kids
don't
take
him
out
to
play
or
you're
too
busy
that
day
to
get
him
out,
he
still
has
plenty
of
room
where
he
can
run
around
and
play
and
do
things
that
bunnies
love
to
do
so.
This
is
really
an
ideal
setup
and
we
hope
that
any
adopter
would
come.
It
would
consider
getting
the
similar
setup.
You
can
put
the
cage
in
different
configurations.
A
The
exercise
pins
is
fairly
inexpensive
and
it
really
provides
a
great
environment
for
the
house
bunnies
to
live
in
a
safe
environment,
and
it
also
keeps
protects
your
furniture,
your
cords,
because
they
will
chew
on
electrical
cords
and
obviously
that
could
be
very
dangerous.
So
this
exercise
pin
here
really
does
provide
a
great
opportunity
for
them
to
get
that
exercise
and
be
safe
in
your
home.
So
again,
August
is
a
great
bunny
here
seems
to
be.
A
A
And
thank
you
for
watching
our
show
today.
I.
Remember:
that's
just
a
sampling
of
the
kittens
that
we
have
available
for
adoption,
the
kittens
and
cats
that
is
our
only
bunny
and
we're
very
happy
to
announce
that
all
of
our
dogs
have
been
adopted
again.
This
is
a
great
problem
to
have
here
at
the
shelter.
We
do
have
a
few
strays
that
we're
waiting
for
the
owners
to
reclaim
as
of
today
when
we're
taping
the
show,
but
all
of
our
kittens
have
been
adopted.
A
The
best
way
to
know,
what's
here
at
the
shelter
and
available
for
adoption,
is
to
keep
an
eye
on
our
website,
which
is
WWE
animal
shelter
org.
It's
the
best
way
to
keep
in
touch
with
us
on
our
website.
You
can
see
the
animals
available
for
adoption.
You
can
also
look
at
the
stray
animals
that
are
here
at
the
shelter
we
have
pictures
of
them
up
there.
A
A
What
will
be
available
for
adoption
here
coming
up
soon
or
you
can
always
call
the
shelter
our
staff
gets
to
know
these
animals
really
well,
and
we
can
usually
tell
you
as
much
as
we
know
about
them
in
the
case
for
strays,
we're
kind
of
getting
to
know
them
as
well,
but
we'll
give
you
all
the
information
we
have
and
we
gladly
take
those
phone
calls
and
are
willing
to
help
out
in
any
way
we
can
to
help.
You
find
a
new
furry
friend
for
your
family,
thanks
for
watching.
