Description
Four adoptable pets at the Ames Animal Shelter
A
Hello
and
welcome
to
animals
and
ames.
My
name
is
ron
edwards
and
I'm
here
to
show
you
some
of
the
adoptable
animals
we
have
at
the
shelter
today
before
we
get
started.
I
wanted
to
tell
you
that
our
website
now
has
pictures
and
information
on
the
animals
here
at
the
shelter
you
can
find
us
at
www.cityofames.org.
A
A
A
And
our
second
adoptable
is
bristol.
She
came
into
us
with
her
sister
she's.
What
we
call
a
russian
blue
color,
this
gray
color
here
is
a
russian
blue-
was
actually
dumped
with
her
sister
in
a
parking
lot
and
fortunate
enough
to
find
her
way
here
to
the
ames
animal
shelter
she's
about
five
to
six
months,
she's
going
to
be
spayed
very
soon
and
would
be
a
great
pet,
probably
needs
a
quieter
home.
To
start
with,
seems
to
be
a
little
bit
on.
A
The
shy
side
may
have
not
had
a
lot
of
socialization
before
she
came
here
to
us,
but
definitely
you
know
a
nice
cat
once
she
gets
calmed
down.
She's
a
really
sweet
cat
just
gets
a
little
excited
at
first,
so
maybe
a
home
with
no
real
small
children.
Maybe
some
older
children
would
be
a
good
ideal
situation
and
we
also
have
her
sister
here
too,
which
is
sarah
and
sarah's,
also
going
to
be
looking
for
a
home
she's
a
little
bit
different
coloring
she's
got
some
white
and
tabby
stripes
on
her.
A
And
this
is
frito.
Frito
has
been
at
the
shelter
here
since
may
31st,
so
he's
one
of
our
longer
term
residents
and
he's
really
excited
to
come
into
this
room.
This
is
the
first
time
he's
been
in
the
cat
room,
so
he's
a
little
excited,
but
he's
usually
very
gentle.
A
A
We
do
have
a
potential
adopter,
that's
come
forward,
so
we're
really
excited
we're,
hoping
that
that's
going
to
happen
and
that
frida
will
be
home
for
the
holidays,
because
no
one
wants
to
have
these
animals
here
long
term
in
the
shelter
and
frito
definitely
needs
to
be
home
with
the
family.
He
would
really
appreciate
that,
and
so
would
we
he's
a
little
bit
of
a
lab
mix.
A
I
think
there
might
be
some
pit
bull
in
there
he's
about
a
year
and
a
half
old,
very
friendly.
He
appears
to
like
other
dogs,
although
it'd
be
best
to
introduce
them
slowly,
just
to
make
sure
that
it's
gonna
be
a
good
match,
but
again
he's
one
of
the
shelter
favorites.
The
volunteers
really
love
him
he's
trying
his
best
to
get
to
some
of
the
cat
toys
over
there.
He
knows.
Have
you
so
great
dog,
I
think,
would
make
a
great
family
dog
good
with
kids.
A
I
just
think
he's
going
to
be
a
good
adoption
for
somebody
so
come
on
in
and
take
a
look
at
frito
and
add
them
to
your
family.
Today,.
A
A
A
Again,
just
really
needs
some
training
to
learn.
Good
manners
he's
very
calm
in
the
kennel,
but
he
does
get
excited
once
he
gets
out.
Takes
him
a
little
bit
to
calm
down
till
he's
had
some
time
to
relax,
and
so
we'll
just
see
if
he
will
relax
a
little
bit
here,
but
would
make
a
great
addition
to
a
family,
I'm
sure
he'll
be
adopted.
Quick.
The
small
dogs
typically
get
adopted
quicker
than
the
larger
breeds,
but
he
just
needs
a
good
home.
A
A
A
A
Outdoor
shelter
protection
should
have
be
away
from
the
wind
rain
and
snow
to
keep
them
warm
lots
of
information
on
our
website.
So
please
take
a
look
at
that
and
remember
that
today
the
animals
you
saw
today
is
just
a
sampling
of
what's
available
here
at
the
ames
animal
shelter
come
down.
Take
a
look
also
remember.
Our
website
now
has
pictures
of
the
animals
that
are
available
for
adoption.
