A
A
He
is
just
really
excited,
wants
to
go
and
play
and
just
a
whole
lot
of
energy
and
needs
a
whole
lot
of
training.
He
does
not
know
a
whole
lot
of
manners.
He
does
jump
up
and
some
of
the
things
that
need
to
be
worked
out
with
him.
His
name
is
granite.
He
was
actually
surrendered
to
us
good
boy.
He
was
surrendered
to
us
by
his
owner
because
they
could
no
longer
afford
to
care
for
him.
It
was
really
a
cost
issue
and
I
think
also
maybe
some
time.
You
know
these
little
guys
like
this.
A
These
little
puppies
need
lots
of
attention:
lots
of
training,
lots
of
socialization
around
people
and
other
dogs,
so
he's
starting
off
a
little
bit
later
in
life,
but
he's
only
seven
months
old.
So
he
still
has
plenty
of
time
to
learn.
Some
good
manners
again
he's
a
very
active
puppy
needs
to
get
into
some
puppy
classes
really
soon
as
soon
as
he
gets
adopted,
but
he's
definitely
been
friendly.
We
have
not
seen
any
behaviors
from
him
besides
being
a
little
rambunctious.
A
But
again
that's
just
the
thank
you
for
that
kiss.
That
is
just
a
puppy
in
him.
That's
coming
out
and
he's
a
beautiful
brown
merle
color
here
and
got
some
white
on
his
chest,
so
just
a
really
sweet
dog
that
needs
some
direction
and
really
deserves
that
trait
there
you
go.
That's
a
good
boy,
oh
yeah!
Thank
you.
A
This
needs
that
really
good
training,
someone
to
spend
a
lot
of
time
with
him
give
him
that
love
and
attention.
He
is
not
neutered,
but
of
course
he
will
be
before
he
gets
adopted
here
from
us.
So
if
you're
interested
in
meeting
granit
he's
here
at
the
Ames
Animal
Shelter
he's
a
really
nice
dog.
This
needs
that
extra
training
and
TLC.
A
A
When
you
go
to
clean
his
kennel
in
the
morning,
he
does
to
put
his
arms
around
you
and
kind
of
give
you
a
bit
of
a
hug,
so
he
is
just
very
affectionate,
really
surprised
that
nobody's
come
in
looking
for
him
yet
so,
but
at
least
he's
safe
here
at
the
shelter
and
not
gonna,
be
out
there.
The
weather
is
turning
cold
and
we're
expecting
our
first
snow.
A
Possibly
so
it's
good
for
these
guys
to
be
here
in
the
shelter
where
it's
nice
and
warm
and
they're
safe,
so
Costello
I
came
in
to
us
again
as
a
stray.
He
is
not
neutered,
so
we'll
make
sure
that
he
is
neutered
before
he
gets
adopted,
but
he
has
this
beautiful
kind
of
medium
haired
orange
tabby
he's
got
some
tabby
stripes
in
there,
some
tiger
stripes,
but
again
just
a
very
loving
cat
that
just
wants
attention.
A
You
can
see
there,
she
he
can
care
less
if
there's
cameras
in
the
room
and
the
lights
are
on
him
as
long
as
he's
getting
attention.
That's
all
he
cares
about.
So
this
is
Costello
came
in
as
a
stray.
He
will
be
available
for
adoption
on
Friday.
So
if
you're
interested
in
a
beautiful
cat
here,
he
does
have
all
of
his
claws
and
again
he
has
to
be
neutered
before
he
goes
home.
We
want
to
make
sure
that
he
is
gonna,
be
an
indoor
only
cat.
A
A
In
our
next
guest
today
is
our
feathered
friend
here
Altair
he
actually
came
into
us
as
a
stray
believe
it
or
not.
We
get
a
few
customers
that
come
in
and
get
a
kick
at
it.
We
had
a
stray
parakeet
come
in,
but
we
actually
had
one
of
the
residents
here
in
Ames.
That
was
having
some
work
done
in
her
house
and
Altair
flew
up
and
landed
on
top
of
the
repairman
shoulders
and
he
thought
maybe
it
might
have
been
her
bird.
So
he
went
inside
with
altair
and
found
out.
A
It
wasn't
her
bird
and
she
called
us
up
thinking
that
someone
may
be
looking
for
altair.
So
he
is
a
beautiful
parakeet,
beautiful,
blue
colors.
Hopefully
we
can
get
a
close-up
shot
on
him
and
to
show
his
beautiful
colors
there.
He
is
somewhat
hand.
Tama
gets
a
little
bit
nervous
about
coming
out
of
his
cage.
He
does
have
his
wings
that
are
fully
intact.
They
have
not
been
clipped
so
he
can
fly.
A
So
we
are
looking
for
his
owners.
It
does
have
a
band
on
him,
but
we
have
not
been
able
to
trace
that
band,
but
he
is
definitely
a
cute
little
bird
here
and
seems
to
be
pretty
healthy
when
he
first
got
here.
It
was
very
obvious
that
he
had
been
out
for
quite
a
while.
He
was
just
starving
and
did
not
get
his
head
out
of
the
food
wall
for
quite
a
while
hours.
A
Not
all
vets
will
see
Birds,
so
you
want
to
make
sure
you
have
a
vet
that
specialized
or
at
least
understands
and
knows
more
about
birds
and
can
treat
them
for
illness
and
conditions
like
that.
But
this
little
guy
here
altair
is
available
for
adoption
at
the
Ames
Childress.
If
you'd
like
to
know
more
about
him,
give
us
a
call
or
you
can
come
on
down
and
meet
him
he's
here
in
the
front
lobby
with
the
guinea
pigs
that
we
have
for
adoption.
So
a
little
bit
of
everything
right
now.
A
Well,
thank
you
for
watching
this
episode
of
animals
and
names.
That's
just
a
sampling
of
what
we
have
here.
That
is
our
only
dog,
so
granite
is
the
only
dog
here
at
the
shelter
for
adoption.
Right
now,
we
do
have
quite
a
few
rabbits
still
available
for
adoption.
A
lot
of
guinea
pigs.
You
just
met
altair,
the
bird
that
we
have
available
for
adoption
and,
of
course,
a
lot
of
cats.
A
So
if
you
have
lost
a
pet,
you
want
to
make
sure
you're
clicking
on
the
animals
at
the
Ames
Animal
Shelter
stray
animals
at
the
Animal
Shelter
and
there's
a
picture
of
each
animal
there
that
we
have
here
at
the
shelter.
So
if
you
ever
want
to
know
what
we
have
here,
just
click
on
those
different
links
and
you'll
see
the
pictures
of
the
animals.
And,
of
course,
if
you
have
any
questions
about
any
of
them,
please
don't
hesitate
to
call
us
our
left
step.
A
On
the
last
episode,
I
reported
that
we
had
some
kittens
that
were
born
to
a
mom
the
tested
positive
for
FIV,
which
is
similar
to
it's
a
feline
AIDS.
So
it's
an
immune
compromised
disease.
So
mom,
unfortunately,
is
positive
for
that
disease,
but
the
great
news
is:
she
did
not
pass
that
on
to
the
kittens
we
had
all
of
them
tested.
They
have
been
spayed
and
neutered
and
they
are
available
for
adoption.
So
I
said
that
I
would
report
back
and
let
everybody
know
the
great
news
of
those
kittens
are
not
positive
for
feline
AIDS.
A
So
we're
safe
at
this
point
that
since
mom
didn't
pass
it
on
to
them
the
only
way
they
could
get.
It
is
from
another
cat
and
that's
typically
through
fright,
fighting
or
breeding
and
since
we've,
spayed
or
neutered
them
not
gonna
be
an
issue,
but
of
course
fighting
always
would
be.
So
another
reason
why
we
want
our
cats
to
stay
indoors,
keep
them
safe.
A
I
want
to
remind
all
of
our
adopters
and
potential
adopters
that
we
do
the
free
nail
trims
for
life,
so
you
can
always
bring
those
kitties
in
here.
We
will
trim
those
nails
for
you,
there's
absolutely
no
charge
for
that
service.
We
want
to
make
sure
they
keep
their
claws
and
that
they're
not
declawed.
So,
thanks
for
watching
this
episode
and
come
by
and
see
us
and
check
out
all
the
great
animals
that
we
have
here
at
the
shelter.
