A
Hi
and
thank
you
for
tuning
in
to
this
episode
of
animals
and
names,
my
name
is
Ron
Edwards
I'm,
the
animal
control
supervisor
here
for
the
Ames
animal
shelter
and
animal
control
program
here
with
me
today
is
chief
chief
also
has
a
sister
here
named
scarlet
and
chief
in
scarlet.
We
want
them
to
be
adopted
together,
they're
about
five
months
old
there
we
were
told
that
they
were
dachshund,
be
Sean
mix.
Puppies
definitely
can
see
some
docs
in
here.
A
It's
got
the
longer
longer
body
here,
the
shorter
legs,
but
very
very
playful
puppies
and,
of
course,
all
puppies
need
lots
of
training,
as
these
two
will
again
five
months
old.
Both
of
them.
This
one
here
is
chief
chief,
is
the
boy
chief
is
five
months
old
he's
already
been
neutered
and
he's
available
for
adoption
here.
I
remember:
he
does
need
to
be
adopted
with
scarlet.
So
if
you're,
just
looking
for
one
check
on
some
of
the
other
animals
that
we
have
here
for
adoption,
but
scarlet
and
chief
need
to
be
adopted
together.
A
A
And
here
I
have
with
me
Scarlett
again.
This
scarlet
is
chief
sister.
They
were
five
months
old.
They
were
surrendered
to
us
because
the
owner
had
too
many
animals,
so
they're
young
puppies.
Again
they
need
lots
of
training
just
five
months
old.
They
were
not
spayed
or
neutered
when
they
came
in
to
us.
A
So
we
made
sure
that
they're,
spayed
or
neutered
as
we
do
with
all
the
animals
that
are
adopted
here
from
the
Ames
animal
shelter
she's
a
little
bit
more
reserved
and
kind
of
quiet,
then
chief
is
but
they
definitely
are
very
bonded
to
each
other.
So
that's
why
we're
looking
for
a
home
for
Scarlett
and
chief
together
where
they
can
live
together
and
hopefully
live
very
long
lives
together
and
be
puppies
and
get
all
the
training
and
everything
the
puppies
need
and
vaccinations
and
everything
that's
so
important
for
them
and
for
their
health.
A
A
We're
going
to
change
species
here
we
have
penny.
Penny
is
about
a
year
old.
She
came
to
us
as
a
stray
on
November
13th,
so
she's
been
here
a
little
bit
kind
of
surprised.
She
hasn't
been
adopted
yet
she's,
a
very
playful
cat,
we're
estimating
she's
about
one
year
old,
so
she's
kind
of
a
smaller
cat,
smaller
in
size,
but
lots
of
personality,
I
think
she's
a
little
shy
with
a
camera
and
and
the
lights
here
today,
she's
used
to
toys
in
this
room
only
so
she's,
not
too
sure
about.
A
A
A
Here
I
have
with
me
boo,
boo,
bear
boo.
Boo
bear
also
is
known
as
boo,
so
boo
here
was
just
surrendered
to
us
today,
so
she's
still
adjusting
to
the
shelter
environment,
lots
of
energy.
Here
she's
we
were
told
that
she
is
a
husky,
German,
Shepherd
mix
and
she
sees
beautiful
white
coloring
here
pure
solid
white
lots
of
energy
she's
lived
with
cat,
she's
lived
with
dogs,
so
she's
kind
of
accustomed
to
a
lot
of
other
animals.
A
She's
been
she's,
lived
with
kids,
the
owners
were
moving
and
just
were
not
able
to
take
her
to
their
new
place,
so
no
fault
of
her
own
unfortunate
circumstances,
with
her
moving
where
she
couldn't
be
part
of
the
family
anymore.
So
we're
looking
for
a
new
family
here
for
boo
she's,
already
spayed
the
owner
said
that
she's
about
three
and
a
half
years
old.
A
She
was
originally
adopted
from
a
shelter
in
Texas
and
brought
here
to
Iowa,
but
now
she
needs
a
new
forever
home
here
in
Iowa,
where
she's
going
to
be
loved
and
taken
care
of.
So
if
you're
interested
in
boo
come
on
down
to
the
Ames
animal
shelter,
she's
look
again
got
a
lot
of
energy
needs
some
training,
but
would
make
a
great
pet
for
somebody
so
come
on
down
and
meet
boo
at
the
Ames
animal
shelter.
A
Thank
you
for
watching
this
episode
of
animals
and
names,
as
you
seen
the
pets
here
that
we
have
for
adoption
are
just
incredible
and
they
all
need
forever
homes
and
we
really
want
them
to
be
adopted
as
soon
as
possible,
so
come
on
down
here
to
the
Ames
animal
shelter.
I
just
want
to
share
a
special
thanks
with
all
the
viewers.
This
last
month
we've
had
incredible
adoptions.
Our
longest
cat
resident
angel
was
adopted
by
a
great
family
and
just
so
many
wonderful
adoption,
so
many
older
cats.
A
Some
of
the
kittens
that
we
had
here
all
the
dogs
that
we
had
at
one
point,
just
incredible
adopters,
come
in
here
to
the
Ames
animal
shelter,
and
we
can't
thank
you
enough
for
your
support,
watching
this
show
and
visiting
with
the
animal.
So
thank
you
so
much
for
being
part
of
the
Ames
animal
shelter.
