A
Hello,
this
is
Ames
Mayor,
John
Haila
I'm
committed
to
communicating
with
you
regularly,
so
you
have
local
information
and
updates
as
well
as
to
continue
to
reassure
you
that
all
of
the
ames
partner
organizations
are
working
collaboratively
to
address
the
challenges
of
the
covin
19
pandemic.
These
are
unusual
and
unprecedented
times.
Well,
we
do
not
have
a
historical
president
to
look
back
upon.
A
We
are
adapting
developing
and
implementing
our
emergency
response
plans
to
best
serve
Ames
and
storey
County,
while
City
Hall
remains
closed
to
public
access
city,
employees
continue
to
focus
on
providing
Ames
residents
with
the
essential
services
they
need
each
day
for
their
health
and
safety.
We
continue
to
be
committed
to
serving
you
I
like
to
share
with
you
some
information
that
help
you'll
find
helpful.
We've
had
people
ask
about
what
are
some
trusted
information
sources
here
in
the
local
area
we
are
committed
to
giving
you
accurate
and
timely
information.
A
I
can
share
with
you
some
of
the
local
resources
that
I
believe
can
answer
some
of
your
questions
and
you
can
trust.
The
first
is
a
Mary
Greeley
Medical
Center
webpage
mg,
MC
org
on
it.
They
have
a
link
at
the
top
of
their
page
to
kovat
19
information.
They
answer
a
myriad
of
questions.
A
lot
had
to
do,
but
you
might
be
able
to
expect
if
you
go
to
the
hospital.
Secondly,
is
McFarland
clinics
on
their
website.
A
Thirdly,
Iowa
State
University,
what
a
great
partner
we
have
in
Iowa
State.
They
have
a
great
website
and
not
only
do
they
have
information,
but
they
also
have
videos
and
posters
on
social
distancing
and
they
also
have
virtual
services
that
they're
offering
including
exercises
and
other
opportunities.
They
even
have
links
and
suggestions
in
terms
of
recreational
activities
such
as
doing
a
Netflix
shared
video
I
encourage
you
to
take
a
look
at
it.
A
Fourthly,
our
city
of
Ames
website,
it's
constantly
being
updated,
additional
information
is
being
provided
and
we
have
quite
a
few
links
on
there
to
different
resources,
locally
state
and
nationally.
These
links
are
two
trusted
informational
sources.
No
one
website
can
be
a
stand-alone
one-stop
shop.
Information
is
updated
so
frequently,
and
each
partner
needs
to
be
focusing
on
their
particular
area
of
responsibility.
