our
aqua
instructors
here
at
Ames
parks,
recreation
and
she
teaches
that
all
four
of
our
aqua
facilities
that
we
are
able
to
offer
aqua
classes
at
correct
correct.
So
we
have
a
number
of
classes
for
all
different
sorts
of
levels
and
ages,
etc.
So,
let's
talk
a
little
bit.

Depends
on
the
age
of
my
students,
whether
they're
in
their
70s,
whether
they're
in
their
60s
50s,
but
they
all
go
down
to
the
age
of
20
s.
20
year
olds
are
more
apt
to
do
power,
jumping
jacks
and
and
that's
when
I
propel
out
of
the
water,
but
then
the
older.
They
get
the
more
knee
problems
they
might
have
right,
and
so
they
don't
want
to
do
quite
as
much
jumping.
But
you
still
can
be
power.
You
can
still
use
your
core.
You
can
use
your
shoulders.

First
of
all,
you
have
the
water,
so
it
supports
you.
So
we
work
a
lot
on
balance,
especially
with
older
people,
because
you
know
the
older.
We
get
the
less
balance
that
we
have
right.
Also,
you
have
a
better
range
of
motion
and
you
can
move
both
your
arms
and
your
legs
at
the
same
time.
Sometimes
when
you
duel
and
exercises
you're,
focusing
on
your
legs,
you're

on
your
arms

the
water,
you
use
your
core,
your
arms
and
your
legs
all
together.

classes

We're
aging
now

to
be
younger.

we're

there
are

year
olds,

induce
themselves,
they
get
to
know
new
people,
they
don't
isolate
anybody,

a
consistent
group-
and
you

what
one
couple
just
went
away
for
the
weekend
and
they
were
so
grateful
to
come
back
on
Monday
because
they
miss
it
yeah.
They
say
all
my
back
hurts
whatever
they
are
ready
for
that
exercise.

Aqua
social
is
a
big
part
of
aqua
fitness
classes
and
we
have
or
excuse
me
we're
lucky
to
have
the
deep
water
classes
that
we
offer
at
Furman
and
the
municipal
pool.
And
then
we
have
the
shallow
water
classes.
So
people
can
take
the
deep
water
workouts
and
they
can
really
take
it
up
a
notch
if
they
need
to
so
even.

I
start
my
classes
and
they
get
the
talking
out
of
the
way
and
they
kind
of
walk
back
and
forth
a
little
bit
and
loosen
up.
Then
I
start
I'm
starting
to
use
a
lot
of
hip
movements
to
start,
and
then
we
work
a
little
harder.
I
like
to
get
some
intensity
going
where
we
do
some
cardio
and
then
I'll
bring
it
back
down
again
for
cool
down
and
I'll
go
through
I'll
start
without
any
equipment,
and
then
I
either
choose
noodles
or
weights
or
noodles
and
weights
and
a
session.

So
again,
we're
really
lucky
to
be
able
to
offer
so
many
alkyl
classes,
and
so
many
wonderful
ities
here
in
ames-
and
I
know
you
have
great
turnouts
for
your
classes-
all
ages
are
welcome.

levels

which
is
really
nice
for
people
to
know
who
are
new
to
exercise
people
who
have
been.
For
instance,
you
have
someone
in
your
class
whose
rehabbing
from
an
accident-
yes.

When
she
came
to
my
class,
she
didn't
have
very
much
leg
movement
from
her
accident
Wow.
We
were
able
to
take
that
knee
and
to
actually
bend
it
where
now
she
has
a
45-percent
leg
movement
also,
when
people
recover
from
shoulder
injuries
shoulder
surgery
now
I
have
people
that
are
coming
off
of
back
surgery.
I
have
people
who
are
coming
off
of
knee
surgery.

Come
to
the
water
yeah
and
then
it's
amazing
how
they
get
back
into
shape
and
then
they
find
that
they
are
in
better
shape
and
then
I
have
people
that
say
who
are
new
to
my
class
and
they
say
wow
the
sudden
they've
lost
inches
in
their
hips.
They
have
greater
motion,
it's
just
wonderful
to
see
the
results
of
people
or
they
get
stronger
mom.
You
have
really
gained
strength
yeah
and
to
hear
that
that
is
just
really.

Are
such
a
variety
of
every
pool
is
different?
I
think
they
have
to
try
which
pool
they
like
best.
Our
times
are
different
right.
The
structure
instructors
are
different.
You
just
have
to
find
a
style
that
you
want
I'm
more
into
core
I.
Believe
everything
starts
with
your
core
I
like
to
work
through
my
arms
I
like
to
work
or
I
like
to
work.
Legs
I
mean
it's
down
to
your
toes
shoulders
head
higher.

choose
