As
soon
as
they
see
the
flags
and
the
cups
they're
ready
to
get
out
there
and
golf
again
for
us,
it's
it's
always
a
great
time,
it's
kind
of
rebirth.
You
know
renewal
for
everything
out
there
at
the
golf
course.
It's
just
starting
to
green
up
a
little
bit,
so
people
are
going
to
be
really
enjoying
it
here
shortly
now,.
B
We
now
have
10
electric
carts
out
there
and
they
get
used
a
lot.
I
know
we
have
some
golfers
now
that,
as
they've
gotten
a
little
bit
older
need
the
cards
to
make
sure
that
they're
able
to
still
get
out
there
in
golf.
So
we
we
do
rent
carts
quite
a
bit.
We've
added
some
new
car
pass
as
well,
which
helps
when
the
weather
is
is
like
it
is
today
or
or
like
it
has
been
a
little
damp.
A
B
One
of
the
best
things
about
Homewood
is
you
see.
Even
yesterday
we
had
grandpa
and
grandkids
out
there
grandpa
taking
them
teaching
them
how
to
golf.
So
it's
great
for
the
beginners,
it's
great
for
anyone
that
is
in
a
time
pinch
I'm
usually
can
get
around
in
a
couple
hours
that
way:
you're
you're
not
out
there
for
a
four-hour
block
of
time.
Everyone
from
from
people
that
are
in
their
90's
and
we
have
I,
think
66
people
in
their
90's
this
year.
B
B
A
B
A
B
The
last
probably
the
last
five
years
we've
had
more
youth
memberships
and
family
memberships
and
we
have
and
the
previous
years
so
more
people
are
getting
out
there.
It's
a
great
great
way
to
exercise
and
a
great
family
activity,
and
obviously
you
can
do
it
from
the
time
you're.
Eight
nine,
ten
till
you're
over
90.
So
it's
a
lifelong
sport,
something
you
can
learn
now
and
play
forever.
You.
B
At
home,
would
we
have?
We
have
a
lot
of
leagues
or
monday
league
is
an
after
woman's
after
work
league.
They
shotgun
start
at
six
o'clock.
They
play
kind
of
match
play
over
the
course
of
the
year
and
then
at
the
end
of
the
year
we
have
a
barbecue
is
kind
of
an
end-of-the-year
shindig.
Our
couples
league
is
on
Tuesday
nights.
Same
type
of
things
starts
with
a
shotgun
start
at
six
and
then
at
the
same
thing
end
of
the
year.
We
do
a
barbecue
for
them.
B
We
have
a
city
league
on
Wednesdays,
goes
from
about
four
until
all
close
to
six
o'clock,
but
they
go
on
tee
times,
thursday
mornings.
We
have
ladies
league
also
it's
a
more
of
a
retired
ladies
league
and
then
friday
mornings.
We
have
our
junior
league
so
for
those
kids
that
are
anywhere
from
eight
to
fifteen,
and
that
starts
right
after
the
friday
after
school
is
out
and
goes
till
the
last
friday
in
july.
So.
B
Anyone
can
anyone
can
join
the
league's
any
of
the
league's.
We
typically
don't
fill
up
all
the
way
we
do
have
healthy
participation
in
all
the
leagues
we
have
usually
in
our
couples
and
our
women's
after
work
league.
We
have
18
teams,
so
36
golfers,
a
great
great
time
for
them
to
enjoy
each
other's
company
have
a
good
time.
None
of
our
leagues
are
cutthroat
or
anything
like
that.
It's
it's
more
the
fellowship
getting
getting
to
have
fun
with
you
know
another
couple
or
another
group
of
ladies.
B
B
A
B
Do
have
like
a
father's
day
special
and
a
mother's
day,
special
where
you
bring
along
mom
and
dad,
and
then
you
have
to
pay
for
your
golf
and
not
make
them
pay
for
for
the
golf.
But
they
call
free,
then
with
one
paying
customer,
and
then
we
also
have
a
child's
day
in
August
to
where
mom
and
dad
bring
the
kids
they're
able
to
come
out
and
golf
for
free,
okay,.
B
Multiple
ways
you
can
do
it
probably
the
way
that
most
of
our
regulars
make
a
tee
time
is
there
they
come
in
after
their
round
set
the
tee
time
for
the
next
day
and
they're
good
to
go.
You
can
always
call
us
51,
52,
395
363
make
a
tee
time.
That
way,
and
probably
the
easiest
way
to
do
it
is
online
and
you
can
go
to
the
city
of
Ames
dot,
org,
slash
golf
and
you
can
get
on
that
way
and
you
can
sign
up
for
your
tee
time
and
it's
quick
and
easy.
So.
A
I
there's
a
lot
of
those
extensions
that
make
getting
to
some
of
those
parks
and
rec
services
a
lot
easier.
We
have
city
of
Ames
org,
slash,
aquatics,
the
slash
golf
just
another
way
to
quickly
get
information
online
I
know
you
mentioned
to
me
briefly
that
you
also
work
at
the
Ice
Arena
that
that
will
continue
going
on
through
the
summer
yep.
B
The
ice
arena
is
open,
pretty
much
11
out
of
12
months
a
year.
The
only
time
it's
not
open,
as
in
May
in
May,
is
when
we
have
a
chance
to
do
some
larger
projects.
I'm
replacing
a
cooling
tower
this
year,
we're
cutting
the
ice
down
and
repainting
the
ice
and
then
building
it
back
up.
So
it's
a
busy
busy
bay
for
us,
but
then
starting
right
away
in
June
we're
open
to
the
public
again.
So.
A
B
A
A
B
A
You
want
more
information
about
golfing
at
homewood.
Just
remember
you
can
get
to
that
shortcut
city
of
ames,
org,
slash
golf
will
get
you
all
the
information
about
establishing
a
tee
time
and
hours
for
Homewood
golf
course.
Also
remember,
as
we
get
into
the
month
of
April,
we
have
a
very
special
celebration.
A
This
is
the
25th
anniversary
of
City
Hall
at
its
current
location,
515
clark
avenue,
of
course,
that
building
was
originally
built
as
Ames
High
School
in
1938,
but
we'll
be
celebrating
the
25th
anniversary
of
ames
city
hall
on
tuesday
April
twenty-eighth
join
us
for
cake
in
the
front
foyer
from
11
to
1
p.m.
well.
That's
our
show
for
today,
thanks
for
watching
and
tune
in
next
week
for
this
week
in
Ames.
