If this is YOUR meeting, an easy way to fix this is to add a description to your video, wherever mtngs.io found it (probably YouTube).
A
My
guest
today
is
sherry,
kairos
transit
director
for
the
city
of
Ames
cyride,
sherry.
Welcome
to
the
show
great.
Thank
you
for
having
me
it's
been
a
while,
since
we've
had
you
on
and
a
lot
has
happened,
it's
I
read
you're
in
the
middle
of
a
really
interesting
study.
Tell
me
a
little
bit
about
that.
Yes,.
B
Obviously,
we've
grown
pretty
dramatically
over
the
last
eight
to
ten
years
and
really
the
service
structure
that
we
have
is
the
same
at
four
million
as
it
is
today
carrying
almost
seven
million
right
at
writers
a
year.
So
we
felt
it
was
time
to
take
a
look
at
that
structure
and
just
make
sure
that
it
was
going
to
work
currently
and
as
we
move
forward
in
the
future
as
well
to
serve
the
community.
So
we
have
hired
a
consulting
firm,
Nelson
Nygaard
out
of
the
Seattle
area
to
come
in
and
help
us
work
through
that.
B
Exactly
that's
exactly
what
we're
looking
at
at
this
point.
Obviously,
we
have
added
services
as
a
number
of
writers
that
we're
carrying
grows,
but
we
really
need
to
take
a
step
back
at
this
point
and
make
sure
that
the
way
we're
delivering
service
today
will
serve
the
needs
of
the
community
as
we're
moving
forward.
For
example,
we
have
one
route
in
west
ames
due
to
the
demand
at
a
certain
time
of
the
day,
that
trip
actually
has
nine
buses
on
it
to
carry
the
number
of
people
that
need
to
come
into
the
campus
area.
B
A
A
B
And
that's
a
challenge
and
on
and
that's
exactly
what
we're
trying
to
gauge
from
the
public
is
what
they
want
to
see
in
the
future.
So
you
know
a
questions
like:
should
we
be
providing
service
to
the
entire
community,
or
should
we
have
higher
frequency
routes
that
use
that
more
of
our
resources?
Those
are
the
kind
of
things
that
we
want
to
gauge
from
the
community
as
to
what
is
important
for
them
to
have
in
their
transit
system.
So.
B
We
want
to
hear
from
everybody
whether
you're,
a
current
writer
you've
been
a
writer
in
the
past.
You're
not
you've,
never
been
a
writer.
Obviously
these
are
services
to
the
community,
so
they're
important
to
everyone,
and
we
want
to
know
what
everybody's
thoughts,
even
if
you
don't
ride
today,
what
you
would
like
to
see
in
the
service
that
would
meet
the
needs
of
your
neighbor
or
you
know
your
your
children
or
other
folks
around
you
as
well.
So.
B
We've
we
started
the
kind
of
data
gathering
portion
of
our
study
in
September.
We
started
with
a
writer
ship
count,
so
counting
the
number
of
people
at
each
bus
stop.
We
have
over
400
bus
stops
and
we
did
that
all
day
long
for
two
days
and
then
we
also
did
a
writer
survey
again
to
gauge
what
our
current
writers
are
wanting
to
see
as
we
move
forward,
then
we
went
into
the
kind
of
the
community
meetings
with
the
pop-up
meetings
that
you
refer
to
it
various
places
around
the
community
and
then
formal
public
meetings.
B
Last
week
we
completed
as
well
one
on
campus
and
then
one
in
the
community
as
well,
so
that
the
late,
the
last
piece
that
we're
kind
of
trying
to
get
everybody
to
help
us
with
is
an
online
survey.
And
if
you
go
to
Cyrus
a
website
at
sci
right,
calm
UK
gives
you
the
link
of
how
to
get
into
that
survey.
But
it
really
is
a
unique
survey
in
that
you
are
giving
us
opinions
on
what
you
want
to
see
in
the
community.
B
It's
kind
of
they
term
it
a
design,
your
own
system,
type
of
a
survey
where
you
can
determine
which
are
the
most
important
things
that
you
want
to
see
in
a
in
your
transit
system
here
in
Ames.
So
we
encourage
people
that
we
originally
were
going
to
complete
that
survey
by
this
friday,
the
18th,
but
we're
going
to
extend
that
through
the
Thanksgiving.
A
That
survey
at
site
com
really
an
interesting
way
to
gather
input.
I
took
the
survey
and
basically
you're,
given
a
certain
amount
of
money.
Right
and
you're
said:
here's
your
limited
amount
of
dollars
pick
what's
important
to
you
and
the
money
goes
up
out
of
your
cat
and
you
realize
some
things
are
very
expensive.
Exactly.
B
A
Really
makes
you
decide
what's
more
important
to
me,
knowing
how
much
this
cost
versus
this
more
frequent
and
more
frequent
stuff
pickups,
you
know
extended
hours
on
the
weekends.
There
were
all
these
options
and
they
came
with
a
price
tag,
and
here
you
have
a
finite
number
in
your
bank
account.
So
I
thought
it
was
a
really
interesting
way
to
take
a
survey
and
now
you've
extended
the
deadline
correctly.
B
B
Good
question:
during
the
holidays,
December
and
January,
the
consultant
will
be
gathering
all
that
information
sifting
through
it
and
trying
to
come
up
with
different
changes
that
might
be
beneficial
to
the
community
as
we
move
forward,
they'll
be
coming
back
in
most
likely
februari.
We
haven't
set
that
date
yet,
but
as
soon
as
we
do
we'll
make
sure
we
publicize
that
date.
But
what
would
be
coming
back
to
the
community
to
present
what
there
are
their
thoughts
are,
as
they
have
gone
through.
B
A
Well,
thanks
for
sherry
thanks
for
sharing
that
cherry
absolutely
thank
you
again.
If
you
want
to
take
that
survey,
it
has
been
extended.
You
can
fill
out.
The
survey
at
cyride.
Calm
through
Thanksgiving,
share
your
thoughts
on
what's
important
about
public
transit
in
Ames.
Maybe
what
services
should
be
provided
tell
us
what
you
think
thyroid
calm.
Well,
that's
our
show
for
today,
thanks
for
watching
and
tune
in
next
week
for
this
week
in
ames,.
