A
A
B
C
Think
for
stash
the
trash
it's
going
to
take
place
on
march
29th
many
people
in
the
community
look
forward
to
this
event.
Every
year
it's
a
great
volunteer
event
where
people
all
throughout
the
community
go
out
and
pick
up
trash
in
public
places.
So
again
it's
going
to
be
march
29th
this
year.
It's
a
saturday.
There
will
be
check-in
and
materials
available
at
ryman
gardens,
just
as
we
did
last
year.
A
C
A
B
B
We
do
encourage
people
to
go
to
the
the
websites
and
sign
up,
so
we
can
account
for
their
their
effort,
but
we
do
get
great
participation
and,
as
shelly
said,
if
the
weather's
not
conducive
that
day,
people
tend
to
then
go
out
when
it
is
convenient
for
them
to
go
out
a
week
later
or
they'll
attempt
to
get
it
a
week
before.
B
So
you
know
it's
been
an
annual
event
for
well
over
a
dozen
years.
It's
it's
always
well
attended
and
people
do
look
forward
to
this
this
activity,
so.
A
This
idea,
I
love
the
idea
of
sort
of
spring
cleaning,
you're
sprinkling
your
house,
so,
let's
spring
clean,
your
community,
you
collect
a
range
and
and
a
lot
of
odd
things
have
been.
B
Picked
up
over
the
years,
I
I
you're
absolutely
right.
It's
amazing!
What
comes
into
rhyme
and
garden.
You
know,
anywhere
from
you
know,
parts
of
somebody's
home
part
to
somebody's
car.
We've
had
money
come
in,
that's
donated
back
to
to
the
effort.
So
it's
it
is
always
interesting.
It's
it's
kind
of
exciting
at
times,
just
to
see
what
people
bring
in
and
hear
their
stories.
A
B
B
B
C
And
we
want
the
community
to
be
looking
its
best
and
that
civic
pride
to
really
shine.
A
Absolutely
good
point:
sesquicentennial
cleaning
I
like
it.
A
B
We
have
a
volunteer
effort
by
shitty
garbage
service
they'll,
provide
us
the
containers
to
collect
the
material
at
ryman,
gardens
and
then
they'll
deliver
that
to
the
ames
resource
recovery
plant.
So
so
ames
is
donating
their
effort,
city
garbage
services
is
donating,
donating
their
effort
as
well.
B
C
And
then
iowa
home,
consulting
and
disposal
is
a
local
business.
That's
very
helpful
in
going
around
to
pick
up
the
individual
trash
bags.
So
if
there's
a
group
out
on
say
lincoln
way-
and
they
don't
want
to
put
all
the
filled
trash
bags
into
their
car
to
bring
it
back
to
ryman
gardens
at
the
end
of
their
pickup,
they
can
leave
them
collected
at
a
certain
pot
spot
on
the
corner.
So
it's
easy
for
matthew
bradner,
who
is
the
business
owner
and
his
crew
to
go
and
pick
up.
C
Yeah
so
it
makes
it
makes
it
easy,
and
then
they
pick
up
the
trash,
bring
it
to
the
containers
at
ramen,
gardens.
A
C
Again,
people
can
sign
up
on
the
volunteer
center
website
and
we
have
individual
sites
listed
there.
I
think
there
are
75
different
sites
that
to
choose
from,
and
that
includes
parks
and
roadways
and
community
areas.
We
have
also
listed
in
here
in
their
the
neighborhood
districts,
like
the
south
campus
neighborhood,
that
kind
of
thing.
C
So
we
have
large
groups
that
are
signing
up
to
do
that.
If
there
are
pickups
that
people
go
and
pick
up
without
signing
up,
we'd
love
it.
If
they
would,
let
us
know,
email
the
volunteer
center
or
give
us
a
call
we're
trying
to
keep
count
of
our
numbers
both
of
people
and
trash
bags,
so
that
we
can
estimate.
As
you
said,
you
know
it's
really
wonderful
to
say.
Well,
we
picked
up
two
tons
of
trash
or
three
tons
of
trash.
A
B
That's
correct
for
about
seven
years
now
it's
been
a
combined
effort
with
the
with
the
veishea
group.
They
organize
a
the
students
on
campus
to
do
service
projects
throughout
the
community,
and
one
component
of
that
is
called
keep
iowa
state,
beautiful
and
they're
picking
up
trash
at
iowa
state
generally
between
four
or
500
students
are
part
of
that.
That
effort.
A
C
I
think
it's
something
that
you
know,
I
being
as
a
part
of
the
volunteer
center
of
story
county.
I
have
seen
this
over
the
years.
What
a
gracious
serving
community
this
is
and
picking
up
trash
in
the
community
is
one
of
the
ways
that
this
community
expresses
it.
So
there
is,
there
are
frequently
efforts
to
pick
up
a
certain
area,
main
street
or
campus
town
or
along
the
roadways,
and
this
is
one
great
way
that
the
whole
community
together,
it's
just
sort
of
this
esprit
de
corps
that
happens
on
that
day.
