From YouTube: Rescue Truck Tour for Kids
Description
Lieutenant Damhof and Firefighter Whitaker give an in-depth tour of the Rescue Truck!
A
B
Gonna
do
today
David.
Well,
we're
gonna
show
the
kids
rescue,
so
this
is
the
truck
that
goes
on.
All
the
ambulance
calls
or
we
go
with
the
ambulance.
This
isn't
an
ambulance,
but
we
have
specialty
tools
on
this
truck
George
and
that
we're
gonna
show
you
a
little
bit
about
it
today.
I
can't
wait.
Let's
get
started.
A
A
B
Like
all
the
fire
trucks,
they
all
have
emergency
lights
and
then,
like
this
piece
right
here,
this
nice
shiny
object
is
actually
the
horn.
Oh
tells
people
to
get
out
of
the
way
so
that
we
can
get
to
the
call
faster
to
help
us
a
lot.
This
is
a
lot
it's
really
loud.
We
don't
want
to
put
your
head
right.
What
would
you
do
if
you
hear
your
lord
well
I
would
pull
with
a
wrench,
pull
it
right
and
stop,
and
if
you're
not
driving,
I
tell
your
parents
to
pull
the
rip.
B
B
B
B
B
B
D
A
A
B
B
B
D
B
B
A
B
A
A
B
C
B
The
same
thing
put
them
underneath
like
that,
and
then,
if
we
need
to
rescue
you
down
the
hillside,
then
this
comes
all
the
way
down
spell
a
Stokes
basket
and
they
still
basket
a
firecracker
can
get
on
each
side
and
hold
it.
And
then
we
have
more
candles
to
hold
it.
If
we
have
more
weight
to
move
where
it's
kind
of
like
a
big
slip,
I.
A
A
B
B
B
We
can
plug
in
okay,
so
this
plug-in
and
this
plugin
are
different.
So
we
have
adapters
expire
signatures
in
here.
You
know
what
color
that
fire
station
back
there
now
looks
red
colors
that
one
that
one
looks
silver.
So
fire
cart.
We
have
lots
of
different
colors,
colors
mean
different
things,
and
so
like
lieutenant's
helmet
is
red.
Firefighters
helmets
are
black
and
new
firefighters
helmets
are.
B
B
A
personal
flotation
device
you
may
so
if
we
have
to
rescue
somebody
from
a
pond
or
if
somebody's
drowning,
we
take
this
with
there's
lots
of
ponds
all
over
Dean's,
as
well
as
a
everything
except
a
lot.
More
than
that,
you
don't
pull
out.
Like
I
said
it's
a
toolbox,
there's
all
kinds
of
tools,
so
this
tool,
the
grounding
rod.
B
We
can
shovel
out
if
we
need
to
dig
under
something
to
get
relief
if
somebody's
trapped,
ok,
another
thing
leaves
us
for
is:
if
there's
car
accidents,
sometimes
the
oil
gets
on
the
ground
and
in
the
first
compartment
we
had
to
put
oil
dry
on
it.
No,
we
got
it.
I'm
gonna,
shovel
up
the
oil
drive
big
with
the
tow
truck.
B
B
A
B
B
A
B
A
B
Another
light
so
not
gonna
go
inside
the
side
and
it
tells
the
traffic
behind
the
truck
which
way
to
go
okay,
so
we're
unreal
laughs.
My
turn
blink
left
go
right
before
don't
know
which
way
we
just
put
it
on
both
sides,
and
it
just
says,
go
to
the
right
or
the
left.
Oh
look
at
it
now
here
it
is
just
like
that.
B
A
B
So
this
is
a
big
engine
and
a
pump
and
then
on
Jordans
side
we
got
the
cutters
and
then,
on
this
side
we
got
spreaders.
What
are
the
spreaders
do
so?
A
lot
of
people
refer
to
this
as
John
for
life,
so
this
spreads
apart,
hydraulically
from
the
motor
to
the
pump
through
the
lines
through
the
lines
to
the
tool
and
it
spreads
it
apart,
and
it
will
open
a
door
on
a
car
in
face
if
somebody's
trapped
to
a
smash,
yep.
B
A
B
B
There's
some
meat
tools
here.
This
is
just
a
sawzall.
Another
saw
that
we'll
use,
sometimes,
if
that
breaks
as
a
backup
or
if
we
need
to
cut
through
wood
or
metal
or
plastics.
This
will
cut
right
through
it.
Okay
and
because
speed
is
of
the
essence
in
the
fire
department,
we
have
to
hold
it
so
that
one
I
set
up
the
wood
and
this
one
is
set
up
for
metal,
and
so
they
have
different
blades
in
it
that
are
ready
to
go
okay
and.
B
A
B
Can't
get
to
so
you
know
view,
then
what
we
grab
this
hose
so
grab
that
hose
now
and
then
we're
going
to
take
that
with
us.
Then
we
go
back
to
this
one
and
we
take
this
one
and
we
unplug
the
hose
here
and
then
watch
this
and
watch
this
whole
motor
assembly
all
the
lifts
up.
So
we
can
take
it
right
out
of
here
all
it's
like
portable
and
we
lifted
and
take
it
right
with
it
is,
and
then
we
want
to
real
the
real
back
up
press
the
button
up
here
and.
B
B
So
big
heavy
backpack,
just
like
when
you
go
to
school,
except
it's
got
all
the
supplies
in
it
that
you
need
to
possibly
take
blood
pressure
or
check
some
of
these
poles
or
bandage
their
arm
or
split
their
arm
or
deliver
a
baby.
Everything
is
in
that
bag
there's
oxygen
to
put
on
them
in
case
they
can't
breathe.
So
we
deliver
two
babies.
I
have
oh
yeah
about
eight
eight
eight
total.
At
the
same
time,
not.
B
B
We
just
follow
the
directions,
connectors
plug
them
in
the
flashing
light
and
then
what
it
says:
Shaka
Shaka.
Okay,
that
saved
a
lot
of
lives
then
down
on
the
bottom
here.
These
are
hydraulic.
Rams
that
go
with
that
hydraulic
motor.
We
saw
in
the
last
compartment.
What
are
those
do?
They
move
out,
extend
out
to
sometimes
lift
heavy
stuff,
heavy
objects
off
of
people
or
if
their
cars
wrecked
and
they're
upside
down
it
lifts
the
car.
Often,
okay,
then
this
is
what
you
think.
This
is
rods
like
a
toolbox,
bring
the
whole
toolbox.
B
Oh
we
got
a
crescent
wrench
is
we've
got
screwdrivers,
we
got
simpler,
we
got
lineman
pliers,
we
got
hammers
everything
we
might
need
to
take
something
apart.
Everything
might
need
assist
in
any
way
and
then
up
here.
What's
up,
there
got
face
shield?
Okay,
so
if
we
deliver
a
baby
or
we
get
it
called,
it
might
be
a
messy
call.
Then
we
put
a
face
shield
on
us
or
if
we
want
to
protect
from
viruses,
we
also
information
meant
bleach.
B
What
are
you
wait
is
the
bleach
if
we
need
to
clean
up
where
somebody
might
have
been
bleeding
on
the
ground.
We
got
to
clean
up
the
concrete,
so
we
use
the
bleach
and
then
up
here
I
think
those
are
those
look
like
foam
pillows
right
now
they
are
very
close
to
foam
pillows.
One
of
these
goes
on
each
side
of
the
patient's
head
when
we
put
them
on
that
back
part,
so
that.
D
B
B
What
sisters
that
is
a
tone?
It's
expandable!
There!
You
go!
Let's
want
to
see
something
else
neat
on
the
bottom.
You
press
the
button
on
the
bottom
see
if
we
get
it
Mike
number,
let's
eat
in
the
camera,
but
it
lights
up
so
at
night
it's
lit
up
so
that
oncoming
traffic
can
stay
out
of
the
way.
Sure
I
think
that's
almost
it
miss
there.
One
more
thing:
this
isn't
a
chisel,
so
it
looks
like
a
little
toolbox.
B
Chisels
the
air
chisels,
the
air,
it's
all
chisel,
oh
I,
see,
but
then
we
also
have
an
air
gun.
Okay,
so
you
put
this
in
here
and
then
it
will
chisel
using
air
from
the
SCBA
cylinder.
So
we
can
hook
it
up
and
then
this
will
cut
metal
well
cut
the
side
of
a
car
or
it'll
cut
into
things.
If
we
need
to
get
access.
Oh.
B
There
anything
in
here,
maybe
it's
so
it's
kind
of
the
same
as
the
other
one.
So
I
can
remember.
On
the
other
side,
we've
had
that
big
Stokes
basket.
No,
it
goes
all
across
the
truck.
Okay,
remember
the
four
by
fours.
They
go
all
the
way
across
the
truck
too,
so
you
can
access
from
either
side
so
that
part
of
the
compartments
about
the
exact
same,
this
parks
different.
B
We
have
first-out
bags.
So
in
these
little
bags
we
have
pliers,
we
have
markers,
we
have
golf
tees,
you
play
golf
yeah,
you
know
what
we
use
golf
tees
for
golfing.
We
use
golf
tees
that
we're
gonna
plug
a
line.
Maybe
there's
a
leak
on
the
gas
line.
Well
put
the
golf
tee
in
it
and
it'll
stop
the
leak,
so
there's
all
kinds
of
little
tricks
in
this,
and
we
have
duct
tape
a
number
one
tool
right
here:
duct
tape.
We
have
gloves
in
case
we
get
into
glass
or
we're
cutting
something.
B
B
So
this
is:
if
we
have
car
accident
a
lot
of
times,
we
bring
them
out
because
we're
people
forget
to
put
their
car
in
park
after
an
accident
they're
so
flustered
they
don't
remember
to
shut
it
off.
So
when
we
come
up,
sometimes
it's
still
in
Drive
and
trying
to
move
so
we
cut
the
battery
on
it
to
make
sure
that
it
can't
move
forward,
and
then
it's
a
big
bag
in
the
back
here
top
of
it
to
the
front.
So
this
bag
back
here
is
for
rescue
lifting,
so
there's
a
regulator
in
there.
B
There
is
some
hose
lines
in
there
and
what
we
use
this
for
is
they
connect
to
these
heels
right
here,
and
so
these
we
put
it
in
between
two
objects
and
we
put
pair
to
them
and
after
we
air
them
up.
It
lifts
it
up
like
a
big
balloon
like
a
big
balloon,
except
this
one's,
a
small
one.
The
big
ones
are
back
to
you.
How
much
weight
you
never
mind
these
ones,
I'm
thinking
they
lift
1.5
ton.
So.
B
B
Safety
helmets
know
you've
seen
currency
light
itself.
This
is
what's
up
is
a
sign
that
we
deployed
so
as
a
big
old
sign
that
says.
Emergency
scene
attend
oh
yeah,
so
it
unfolds
kind
of
like
Legos
yeah
Kevin
erector
set
no,
this
kind
of
does
the
same.
So
there's
lots
of
clicking
parking
logs.
You
got
a
Lincoln
box.
B
D
A
A
B
B
C
B
B
B
We're
tools
Oh
a
lot
of
blocks
there.
It
is
so
if
you
guys
have
Jenga
at
home.
This
is
kinda
like
a
game,
but
it's
not
there's
all
kinds
of.
We
call
cribbing
that
we'll
use
to
wedge
under
a
truck
or
will
win
a
gender
somebody's
stuck
or
in
a
door.
We
can
live
it
in
a
door,
and
so
you
can
also
make
blocks
I've
built
stuff
up.
We.
B
Up
with
the
bags
and
we're
gonna
make
sure
it
doesn't
fall
blocks
underneath
bent
like
myths,
you
ever
build
a
fort
out
of
the
box.
Oh
yeah
right,
we
good.
What
do
you
think
that
looks
like
that
looks
like
stuff
Sturgess,
so
we
call
this
one
step
shot.
You
can
step
up
and
then
put
the
car
and
put
the
car
and
then
put
the
car
here
as
we
lift
it
up.
We
can
step
and
push
this
in
here.
B
B
B
A
A
B
B
D
B
B
B
B
A
A
B
So
this
is
the
the
engine
on
the
rescue
a
couple
things
here.
This
is
a
dipstick
where
we
pull
out
to
check
the
oil
right
there
down.
Here's
the
power
steering
fluid.
This
is
the
steering
column
that
goes
up.
So
that's
what
connects
the
steering
wheel
down
to
the
front
axle
and
then
on
top,
if
you're
gonna
put
oil
in,
you
can
put
oil
in
the
top
up
here,
there's
a
sign
on
the
other
side
you
can
put
as
well,
but
overall
lots
of
hoses
lots
of
fittings.
That's
your
motor,
alright!
B
So
of
course
we
got
the
steering
wheel.
What's
that
do
that's
so
we
can
turn
the
wheels
on
the
fire
truck.
Okay,
there's
a
big
ole
power
button
down
below
on
my
left
side
that
turns
all
the
power
onto
the
fire
truck.
We
have
a
key
just
like
a
normal
car,
yeah
yeah.
We
got
the
garage
door
opener,
so
we
can
open
and
close
the
garage
doors.
Sometimes
firefighters
forget
to
close
the
garage
door.
B
And
I
tell
you
what
it
is
down
here.
This
button
turns
on
the
emergency
lights
right
there
on
the
computer.
This
also
controls
the
generator,
and
this
is
just
a
display
screen
for
the
generator.
This
little
control
module
here
controls
the
siren.
If
I
turn
that
that'll
turn
the
siren
on.
This
will
select
different
styles
of
siren,
there's
a
horn
and
a
siren
there.
This
is
our
radio
where
we
call
dispatch.
That's
like
a
walkie-talkie,
it
is
it's
like
a
walkie-talkie.
B
We
can
get
information
about
the
call
we
can
ask
for
directions,
address,
etc,
and
then
this
box
right
here
is
called
a
Knox
box.
We
all
have
a
secret
passcode
that
we
put
in
here
and
then,
once
you
put
in
your
secret
passcode,
this
key
see
I
can't
get
it
out,
it's
locked
in
there
when
we
put
in
our
passcode,
we
can
take
the
key
out
and
that
key
allows
us
to
gain
access
to
other
buildings.
B
What's
your
password,
it
is
very
secret,
and
so
this
is
just
a
computer
that
shows
us
where
all
the
units
are
around
town,
who's,
available
and
who's
out
of
service
or
if
we
need
an
ambulance,
if
there's
any
available,
if
the
commander's
in
town
so
on
and
so
forth,
itself
is
pretty
neat
Dave,
there's
one
more
remember
the
light
in
the
back.
They
all
back
and
forth,
and
back
and
forth
I
do
remember
this
light
here
is
just
like
it,
but
that
tells
that
tells
directions
for
which
way
people
are
supposed
to
go.
