Your April arts west's update, come to arts west on April fifteenth for the first performance of the 2016 Athens Jazz Festival saxophonist Chris Madsen joins the Ohio University jazz faculty and guests for a night of free and open music for the public doors open at seven pm and donations are welcome and appreciated, but don't forget to check out the rest of the Athens jazz festival happening this weekend for more information on the weekend. Www spot calm on Saturday April 23rd at 7pm, arts West will be holding a one night. Only concert with David navu David will be playing a mix of fan favorites from as many albums and sharing the stories that inspired the songs, bring your friends and enjoy an evening of music. A ten dollar donation per person is suggested and will be collected at the door.

Arts West will be holding an eight week class featuring instruction in both knitting and crochet and will be starting on April twenty-eighth through june sixteenth. The session as a whole will be geared toward making items for babies and kids. The classes will be held on thursdays from 5 30 to 7 p.m. the classes will cost forty two dollars for all eight weeks or six dollars per week for drop-ins to register or for more information.
