Hi, this is Carosa spence. With an arts West update on Thursday of this week, April sixteenth arts West will present the debut concert benefit of the shoe box. Theater project at seven-thirty p.m. spend the night with some of Athens finest singing. A collection of songs from numerous musicals tickets will not be sold. However, donations of any amount are welcome. On Friday April seventeenth, the big league big band will be featured in a free concert as a part of the Athens Jazz Festival and will be presented by arts west at seven-thirty p.m.

doors will open at seven and admission is free, though donations again are appreciated. Coming up this weekend on Saturday April eighteenth at noon, arts west program, specialist chelsa Peterson, will be on stage with metro smith peterson, as she demonstrates vocal music styles throughout history. The second half of the event will be an open stage for kids, solo or group to perform. Lastly, expressions a photographic work, art shown by Ernest basten, will be hanging the Arts West gallery space until May first Ernest bastions, improvised photography, adapts ordinary images to new levels of expression.
