Athens Recreation Advisory Board - March 24, 2022
A
B
A
B
Well
I'll
turn
it
over
you,
catherine
ann.
I
guess
I
just
wanted
to.
Was
there
any
updates?
Since
last
we
met
about.
C
The
project
things
are,
things
are
moving
along
really
fast,
so
I'm
gonna
start
big
and
hone
in
so
there
is.
C
C
Space
is
going
to
be
used
or
could
be
used,
and
then,
of
course,
with
the
addition
of
the
tennis
courts
and
the
pickleball
courts
that
we've
been
discussing,
and
so
since,
since
our
last
meeting
it
sounds
like
the
city
is,
you
know,
listening
to
the
community
and
hearing
concerns
about
loss
of
green
space
with
all
of
these
additional
projects,
the
solar
array
and
the
fire
department
and
whatnot,
and
so
what
we're?
What
we're
hoping
to
do
is
maximize
the
space
at
east
dog,
east
state
dog
park
area.
C
You
know
the
ball
field
that
we've
been
talking
about,
putting
solar,
arrays
on
and
maximize
that
space
to
be
able
to
add
more
solar
arrays,
which
would
mean
that
we
have
a
little
bit
less
flexibility
with
our
footprint
that
we
could
have
on
on
that
space
for
tennis
courts-
and
you
know
pickleball
port
course,
because
I
know
the
original
original
discussion
that
we
had
all
back
in
the
summer
of
2021
was
the
three
pickleball
for
pickleball
and
three
tennis
court.
You
know
laid
out
so
with
the
solar
race,
so
we
we.
C
Basically,
we
need
to
have
more
capacity
in
that
on
the
east
state
campus
for
more
solar
arrays,
so
that
could
reduce
solar
arrays
in
other
areas.
So
that's
kind
of
the
development-
that's
happened
over
the
past
week
and
you
know
nothing
is
set
in
stone
yet,
but
that's
kind
of
what
we're
working
with.
So
as
we
kind
of
think
about
the
project
itself
of
our
our
tennis
court
pickleball
project,
then
we
also
have
to
work-
and
you
know,
stay
in
communication
with
kind
of
the
bigger
cities
move
into
solar
arrays.
C
So
we're
also
thinking
about
different
different
places
that
we
could
add
solar,
arrays
or
maybe
update
the
existing
solar
arrays
so
that
they
do
generate
more
power,
so
that
would
also
reduce
the
use
of
of
green
space
for
solar
arrays.
So
you
know,
I
think,
that's
a
that's
great.
You
know
it's
definitely
something
that
people
people
would
like
to
see.
C
So,
just
knowing
that
about
the
space
and
what
we
you
know
need
to
be
cognizant
of
with
the
e-state
dog
park
and
our
ability
to
be
flexible
or
not
with
the
footprint
of
of
whatever
it
is
that
we
put
there
number
two,
the
I've
kind
of
had
the
ohio
department
of
natural
resources.
Nature
works,
grant
kind
of
going
in
the
back
of
my
mind,
to
have
it
on
my
my
list
of
grants,
the
so
it's
a
it's
a
state.
You
know
odnr,
you
can
use
it
for
a
lot
of
different
things.
C
Sport
courts
are
one
of
them,
so
this
would
fall
within
that.
You
know
realm.
Basically,
the
idea
is
that
each
county
is
allocated
a
certain
number
of
dollars
by
the
state
that
that
amount
hasn't
been
determined
yet.
C
So
that's
going
through
and
decided
by
the
state
legislature,
but
the
due
date-
and
you
know
we
should
know
within
the
next
few
weeks
what
what
each
county
is
allocated.
So
you
basically
have
entities
within
each
county
are
competing
for
that
county's
amount
of
money.
So
you
know
one
person
could
be
awarded
the
entire
amount
or
one
organization
could
be
awarded
the
entire
amount
or
it
could
go
to
multiple.
C
We
also
have
had
a
lot
of
the
public
input
opportunities,
because
it's
something
that
requires
public
engagement.
You
know
showing
a
clear
need,
so
we
kind
of
we're
taking
off
a
lot
of
those
expectations
and
requirements
for
for
the
grant
itself.
The
grant
is
due
in
june
past
past
awards.
2021
was
like
somewhere
over
25
000
in
2019.
It
was
like
three
thousand
dollars
was
the
award
in
2018.
C
It
was
back
up
to
25
000,
so
I
don't
know
what
what
what
amount
or
what
pot
of
money
you
know
would
be
available,
but
I'm
assuming
it's
probably
going
to
be
between
20
and
30
000,
I
don't
know
and
it's
a
reimbursement
kind
of
kind
of
grant,
so
you
have
to
have
and
be
willing
to
put
the
money
towards
like
it's
a
project.
That's
going
to
happen,
no
matter
what
and
they
you
know
you
meet
these
requirements.
They
determine
that.
You
know.
Yes,
that's
something
that
we
can.
C
We
can
support
and
then
they
kind
of
reimburse
you
up
to
whatever
the
amount
they
awarded.
That
application
is
due
in
june
june.
1St,
I
believe
so.
The
the
reason
that's
important
is
because
they
require
an
ordinance
for
a
municipality,
because
it's
not
just
for
municipalities,
but
for
municipalities.
It
would
be
an
ordinance
that
has
been
approved.
That's
showing
yes,
we
as
a
city
are
going
to
put
this
amount
of
money
towards
this
project.
C
It
is
going
to
happen
so
that
puts
a
timeline
on
having
the
project,
because
I
know
that's
something
that
we
talked
about
last
last
time.
Whenever
I'm
I'm
I'm
in
the
we
need
to
keep
this
moving.
We
need
to
get
get
money
set
aside
and
appropriated
for
this
project,
because
it
is
something
that
that
is
needed.
The
new
courts
are
needed.
We
know
this
so
the
timeline,
and
then
it
sounds
like
so
we
had.
The
original
ordinance
was
for
250
000,
and
I've
mentioned
that
you
know.
C
That's
that's
a
solid
budget
for
us
to
work
with,
and
we
should.
We
should
definitely
try
to
stay
within
that
budget
so
that
we
can
continue
doing
other
things
with
273
and
we
continue
to
have
emergency
things
pop
up,
like
our
chiller,
is
down
in
the
community
center.
C
So
I
don't
think
that's
gonna,
you
know
affect
273,
but
for
instance,
you
just
never
know
what's
gonna
happen
and
so
anyways
so,
but
the
mayor
has
also
expressed
support
for
putting
fifty
thousand
dollars
towards
the
project
itself
from
arpa
funds,
and
so
that
could
bring
our
total
budget
up
to
three
hundred
thousand
dollars,
which
would
be
which
could
get
us
one
of
these
options
that
we
discussed
last
time,
which
I
you
know
I
think
with
that
and
then,
if
we
were
to
be
awarded
the
odnr
natureworks
grant,
you
know
if
we
were
able
to
continue
moving
this
project
forward,
get
it
through
council
approved,
you
know,
meet
that
criteria
first
and
then,
if
we
were
able
to
be
awarded,
then
that
would
help
stretch
those
two
seven
refunds.
D
C
Think
that
I
can
think
of,
I
do
know
that
we
had
ideas
of
you
know.
Should
we
look
at
another
another
park
wrap
that
up
with
this
project.
It
sounds
like
that's
that
should
just
be
a
separate
project,
so
not
saying
no
to
that
at
all.
I
definitely
think
that
we
need
to,
and
that's
something
that
you
know
I've
been
wanting.
C
C
Yeah
and
last
year
it
was
chansey
and
it
went
to
their
the
restroom
facility.
I
believe
you
can
look
up
if
you
look
up
odnr
nature
works.
It
has
on
the
kind
of
like
the
right
hand,
side
if
you're
looking
at
it
on
the
computer.
It
has
the
past
awards.
So
you
just
can
click
on
those
they're
called
award
cycles,
but
I
believe
it
was
chansey
for
the
restrooms,
the
one
in
2020
there.
There
wasn't
anything-
and
I
imagine
it's
because
the
pandemic,
probably
about
if
everything's,
decided
to
march.
That's
whenever.
C
Shut
down
in
march
2020
and
then
in
2019
was
amesville
for
a
fitness
outdoor
fitness
kind
of.
I
don't
really
know
what
it
just.
I
think
it's
an
outdoor
fitness
equipment
or
something
like
that.
It
doesn't
give
a
lot
of
detail
it
just
kind
of
lists
all
the
counties
and
kind
of
what
projects
and
then
in
2018
it
was,
I
believe
it
was
chansey
again
so
yeah.
C
Yeah,
I
mean
you're,
you
know
you're
competing
with
whoever
whoever
decides
within
your
or
your
county
to
to
apply,
but
I
mean
we,
we
definitely
check
off.
All
of
the
you
know.
You
need
to
make
sure
that
you
have
clear
evidence
that
that
says
you
know
you
have
engaged
with
the
public
you've
offered.
C
So
like
these
meetings,
having
our
meeting
minutes
recorded
like
we
have
some
of
the
emails
that
people
have
put
out,
the
master
plan
document
I've
reached
out
to
the
program
manager
for
that
grant
as
well
just
to
confirm
you
know
that
we
could
use
the
2014
master
plan
information,
since
it
was
if
it's
older,
is
it
still
something
that
we
could
use
as
kind
of
evidence
to
support?
You
know
that
yeah.
C
So
the
so
the
state
will
decide
how
much
money
is
allocated
to
the
counties
to
the.
C
And
then
I
got,
I
am,
I
can't
say
affirmative
whether
or
not
multiple
entities
within
one
county
can
be
awarded
okay,
but
I
do
know
that
you're
competing
within
those
yeah
yeah
and
it
will
reimburse
up
to
75
of
a
project
so
obviously
not
to
exceed
that
allocation.
So
obviously
you
know
we
will
not.
C
C
We
we,
I
believe,
the
richland
avenue
playground,
if
I'm
not
mistaken,
was
supported
by
the
od
and
our
nature
works
grant
and
there
may
be
some
others
within
the
city
that
I'm
not
I'm
not
100
aware
of
yet,
but.
C
So
the
basically
the
city
is
trying
to
explore
ways
to
reduce
the
use
of
green
space
in
front
of
the
library
okay,
and
to
you
know
that
part
obviously
like
we're
there.
There
are
a
lot
of
different
organi
organizations,
different
different
interest
groups
that
are
involved
in
this
solar
array
planning,
because
there
are
a
lot
of
easements
there's
different
lands.
It's
it's
a
lot
of
different
groups
that
that
have
to
be
on
board
to
get
everything
going
and
so
in
hearing.
You
know
concerns
about
green
space
from
from
the
community.
C
Well,
because
I
remember
last
week
or
the
week
whenever
the
last
meet
the
last
meeting,
you
know
greg
had
mentioned
that
you
know
he
doesn't
really
support
anything
except
for
the
three
tennis
court
and
four
pickleball
courts,
but
that
would
significantly
not
only
the
dollar
amount
is,
is
not
feasible
for
us,
but
it
thinking
about
it
in
terms
of
how
much
electricity
we
need
to
be
able
to
generate
in
order
to
meet
the
city's
goals
that
we
we
couldn't
take
up
that
much
room
now
in
the
east
east
state
dog
park
area.
B
C
At
adding
some
in
front
of
the
pool
and
that
and
those
little
green,
you
know
green
strips
of
grass
that
you
know
aren't
really
used
for
anything
other
than
landscaping.
C
So
yeah
we're
we're
getting
creative
here,
and
so
you
know,
we
need
to
make
sure
that,
since
we
are
obviously
city
of
athens
that
we're
all
working
together
to
to
be
able
to
support
each
other's
goals,
so.
B
C
E
So,
are
they
thinking
about
moving
all
the
solar
arrays
over
from
the
library
or
just
a
portion
of
them.
C
C
C
If
you
can
see
the
the
sand
volleyball
port
and
we're
not
going
to
be
having
dogs
dog
park
there,
because
we
have
to
build
that
up,
because
it's
kind
of
sunken
in
but
in
general
I'll,
just
point
up
here
this
area,
this
area
and
this
area
so
not
really
in
the
bicentennial
park.
C
I've
also
spoken
with
folks
nick
tepe
at
the
library
of
how
we
can
enhance
the
bicentennial
park
and
make
it
and
kind
of
like
create
a
kind
of
entry
into
it,
an
educational
experience
so
that
this
area
eventually
becomes
pretty
like
vibrant,
and
we
know
that
we're
not
oh
wow.
I
think
I'm
just
like
inception.
C
You
know
and
also
like
not
impeding
access
to
the
garden,
and
eventually
we
would
like
to
fill
in
the
sand,
volleyball
area,
and
maybe
that
could
be
some
added
green
space
or
dog
park
space,
but
that
that
land
right
there
is
actually
really
nice
nice
for
dog
parks,
because
I
go
down
there
a
lot
whenever
it
rains
after
it
flooded
for
a
long
time
for
like
two
days,
and
then
it
rained
the
next
like
week
that
that
area
is
draining
and
not
holding
water
like
the
current
dog
park
holds
water.
C
So
seems
like
that's
what
you
know.
I
haven't
been
in
a
rush
because
we
haven't
had
a
clear
date
when
construction
will
begin,
but
I'm
ready
to
go
with
that,
so
that
people
don't
lose
access
to
a
dog
park
on
that
side
of
town,
lots
of
lots
of
moving
pieces
to
kind
of
keep
in
motion
and
and
figure
out.
B
B
C
And
then
the
four
I
mean
it's,
it's
big
enough:
we've
we've
measured
it
off
before
the
asphalt
in
between
the
skate
park
and
the
community
center
aaron,
and
I
were
out
there
a
couple
months
ago,
just
kind
of
we
went
on
a
on
a
park,
a
parks
walk
with
our
what
is
the
wheel,
measurement,
doodad
and
and
and
we
were
marking
off
you
know,
potential
places
for
dog
parks.
We
were
marking
off
potential
places
for
futsal.
C
We
were
marking
off
everything
we
could
think
of,
and
so
we've
measured
that
site-
and
I
you
know
it's
a
it.
It
will
handle
the
four
pickleball
courts
just
fine.
C
It
obviously
needs
repair
and
that's
built
into
to
the
estimate,
but
that
that
site
specifically,
if
we
think
about
what
holds
up
versus
the
tennis,
the
existing
tennis
courts,
it's
built
much
structurally
much
better
than
the
existing
tennis
courts,
which
is
why
you
know
if
you
look
at
the
basketball
courts
like
how
long
has
that
strip
been
there,
how
many
decades?
And
so
that's
just
another
reason
why
we're
not?
C
You
know
thinking
about
completely
just
tearing
out
the
existing
tennis
courts
and
putting
them
right
back
in
that
same
place,
because
it's
clear
that
there's
differences
in
those
two
locations,
even
though
they
look
like
they're,
pretty
close
together
and
just
trying
to
use
and
maximize
you
know
what
we
have
the
resources
that
we
have
to
get.
You
know
as
much
as
we
can
for
our
community.
I
think,
is
the
big
drive
there.
C
C
Yeah
yeah
so
option
one
and
two,
so
that
would
be
one
thing
to
work
out.
You
know
so
that
with
the
with
third
sun
solar,
how
far?
If
if
say
option
two,
is
that
going
to
be?
Will
that
maximize
solar
space
or
will
option
one
maximize
solar
space?
So
I
think
that's
the
question
that
we
would,
you
know,
have
to
ask
and
work
out
with
them,
and
maybe
it's
adjusted
even
more
so
in
that
space
to
maximize
solar
panel
space.
C
Like
length
of
electricity
and
water
to
that
to
that
court,
which
you
know
obviously
changes
the
cost
a
little
bit
but.
F
I
was
curious
also
on
the
on
the
amounts,
for
example
like
plumbing,
for
option.
One
is
1500
and
the
plumbing
for
option.
Two
is
5
000.
F
So,
as
I
understood
it
would
be
easier
to
tie
in
with
plumbing
and
the
electric
for
option
two.
But
it
looks
like.
F
C
C
C
F
B
C
B
That
was
a
I
was
when
dom
has
mentioned,
that
he's
like
yeah,
it's
close
to
this,
but
that
makes
if
that's
drawing
power
and,
like
you
know,
trying
to
power
in
you
know
plumbing
from
there.
That's
okay
right
next
to
it
and
so
yeah,
because
that
was
a
question
I
had
about
was
was
just
accessibility
to
the
whole
site.
You
know
if
there
was
a
big
difference
between
you
know:
courts,
one
and
two
or.
B
And
then
there's
been
discussion,
I
mean,
what's
this,
you
know
the
feeling
of
like
you
know,
expanding
this.
You
know
because
we
talked
about
doing
like
how
does
how
does
that
play
into
all
this?
I
guess
other.
C
Courts
and
other
yeah
yeah,
I
mean
that's,
that's
something
that
from
what
I
can
tell
we're
all
on
board
with
you
know,
enhancing
our
parks
and
figuring
out
what
else
needs
to
be
added
to
improve
park
user
experience
really,
and
so
it
might
look
different
depending
on
you
know
what
neighborhood
like
west
state
street
park
clearly
makes
sense
for
a
court.
In
my
mind
it
seems,
like
you
know,
some
sort
of
basketball,
court
or
multi-use.
C
I
mean
greg,
had
mentioned
even
like
a
multi-use
court
of
sorts
that
that
that
would
make
sense
at
richland
avenue.
I'm
I'm
not
sure
there
is
a
green
space,
and
I
think
that
would
be
something
that
we
could
that's.
One
of
those
where
we
need
would
need
to
really
get
more
community
input
about
how
we
want
to
develop
that
space,
because
there's
definitely
room
for
courts.
C
If
we
wanted,
if
pickleball
say,
was
something
that
really
you
know
did
continue
to
grow
or
if
tennis
is
something
that
we
really
needed,
more
of
or
basketball
or
volleyball,
or
any
kind
of
sport
or
activity
that
needed
some
sort
of
flat
hard
surface
there's.
Definitely
green
space
in
the
richland
avenue
area.
We
would
probably
need
to
add
some
more
parking
to
support
more
activity
down
there.
C
C
I
think
I
mean
one
of
the
things
I
guess
is
that,
and
I
know
we've
talked
about
this
a
little
bit.
Brandon
is
that
you
know
I'm
I'm
a
big
dreamer,
and
I
think
that
there's
a
lot
of
potential
and
if
you
know,
if
we
kind
of
stick
within
a
budget-
and
you
know
this
is
definitely
something
that
the
community
has
asked
for
before
it's
clearly
our
current
tennis
courts
aren't
up
to
safety
standards,
unemployable
standards
and
I
think
it's
as
we
continue
moving
forward.
C
You
know
this
is
like
one
step
for
me
in
like
a
really
good
direction
of
being
able
to
say
hey,
you
know
we
can
provide
facilities
and
usable
facilities
for
our
community
and
then
that
should
hopefully
I
would
hope
that
it
would
engage
community
members
more
to
say:
oh
okay,
like
things
are
happening,
so
I
yeah.
I
want
to
be
involved
in
this
planning
process.
So
then
we
could
get
more
community
engagement.
You
know
moving
forward
on
on
new
projects,
because
I
think
that's
something
that
that
we
need
we
need.
C
B
Yeah,
I
mean
that's
just
something
that,
because
I
you
know
just
wondering
like
that
timeline
I
mean.
Is
there
a
feeling
of?
Obviously
you
can't
like
do
a
magic
wand,
a
bunch
of
stuff,
like
you
know,
we
do
one
of
these
and
then
you
know,
is
it
two
years
five
years?
Is
it
you
know?
What's
that
kind
of,
are
we
gonna
assess
the
usage,
and
then
you
know
as
far
as
like
building
another,
you
know
a
second.
C
Field
or
something
yeah,
no,
I
think
if,
if
we
stick
within
a
budget
and
that's
one
of
the
reasons
why
I'm
pushing
it
so
hard
if
we
stick
within
this
like
250
and
we
can
get
that
supplemental
up
to
300
and
then
hey
we
get
the
grant,
maybe
that
would
that
would
be
even
odd.
That
would
be
like
the
cherry
on
top
right,
then
that
sets
us
up
for
going
into
like.
Then
we
get
that
going.
C
We've
got
enough
projects
going
on,
you
know
we'll
keep
that,
and
then
we
can
figure
out
between
now
and
you
know
january
of
2023.
C
What
is
the
2023
project
that
we
get
rolling
and
we
will
have
that
we'll
be
able
to,
and
so
that's
part
of,
the
idea
of
being
like
fiscally
responsible
and
making
sure
that
we're
being
sustainable
in
the
way
that
we're
spending
our
money
as
well.
We
always
have
to
keep
an
eye
10
years
down
the
road
five
years
down
the
road
and
then
even
what
are
like.
I
mentioned
last
time.
What
are
all
of
the
emergencies
that
are
going
to
pop
up,
so
we
got
to
make
sure
we
have
that
cushion.
C
So
if
we
stick
within
specific
kind
of
budget
limitations,
you
know
what
makes
sense,
because
then
we'll
we'll
know
by
january
203
what
we,
what
we
brought
in
from
income
tax,
because
we
all
know
that's
going
to
be
different
than
what
was
projected.
C
But
this
sticking
within
a
reasonable
budget
makes
it
so
that
we
can
pick
up
something
in
2023
and
say:
okay,
now
it's
time
to
get
a
court
at
west
state
street
park
in
a
playground
or
something
like
that
or
now
it's
time
to
turn
to
richland
avenue
and
figure
out
whatever
it
is.
Now
we
can
focus
on
soccer
fields
and
you
know
enhancing
that
I
mean
I
think,
there's
there's
so
many
things.
C
A
C
A
C
B
Yeah
I
mean
it
could
be
better
too.
All
right
questions,
more
discussion.
F
B
F
Couple
questions
for
number
three:
if
that's
coming
in
at
like
151,
what
would
happen
to
the
other
100
000
that
would
that
was,
I
mean:
where
would
that
go?
Would
that
go
toward
potentially
doing
a
different
location.
C
Yeah
yeah
we
could
explore
that
that
would
be
working
with
bdt
to
kind
of
expand
the
scope
of
what
of
what
we
had
originally
planned
but
yeah,
and
then
you
know
like
we
had
talked
about
last
time.
If
that's
the
route
that
we
you
know
feel
like
we
support,
then
the
new
is
obviously
we
can
get
more
solar
panels
at
the
east
and
create
more
electricity
and
and
try
to
meet
our
city's
goals
of
being
more
sustainable.
C
We
would
be
kind
of
displacing
the
surface
that
people
use
right
now,
as
kind
of
I
pick
up
roller
hockey
or
skating
kids
playing
our
daycare
programs
using
it
as
well.
Camp
uses
it
so
you
know
we'd
have
to
be
mindful
of
that.
I
don't
know
the
viability
of,
and
you
know
it
sounds
really
awesome
and
I
would
love
to
repurpose
the
tennis
courts,
but
you
know
we'll
have.
C
That
would
be
a
probably
a
separate,
a
completely
separate
project,
because
that's
going
to
be
a
different
kind
of
engineering
making
sure
like
is
it
worth?
I
don't
know
you
know
creating
something
hard
surface
in
that
area.
I
would
really
like
to
like
kind
of
keep
it
that
way,
because
I
think
we
need
some
there's
opportunities
there,
but
perhaps
it
would
be
that
we
could
go
ahead
and
get
a
court
in
another
park.
F
C
F
I
mean
no
with
that.
With
that
said,
I
had
reached
out
to
some
people
to
ask
them
about
the
enclosed
rink
and
they
there
seems
like
there
are
a
number
of
people
that
use
it
and
enjoy
it.
Now
with
that
said,
they
also
mentioned
that
the
surface
was
in
pretty
poor.
A
C
C
Have
to
be
completely
ripped
out,
there's
areas
where
it
can
be
patched
and
there's
also
areas
where
it
will
be.
It
probably
will
be
cut
out
and
then
re-poured
and
smoothed
out,
but
the
the
base
of
it
is
structurally
much
better
than
than
the
existing
one
and
much
better
than
something
that
we
would
be
able
to
afford
to
put
in.
F
F
Like
this,
this
option
one
comes
in
at
280
000.
and
you.
A
A
F
F
F
Because
just
looking
at
the
maps,
it
looks
like
that
you
know
it's
been
sort
of
redrawn
between
one
and
two
based
on
those,
this
courts
and
it's
hard
to
tell
I
mean
in
one
way
I
could
see
it
would
lean.
You
know
toward
maybe
the
second
option,
but
but
then
I
also
notice
there's
on
the
map.
It's
it's
not
as
close
to
the
existing
hotel
there
on
the
first
option.
So
I
think
that
would
help
me
as
far
as
my
thinking
is
how
much
solar
you
know.
That's
just
another
element
to
know.
C
F
A
A
A
F
I
had
thought
about
the
hotel
situation
and
I
you
know
I
personally
like
that.
Probably
wouldn't
bother
me
just
because
it's
kind
of
when
I
go
somewhere,
it's
kind
of
cool
to
see
what
local
people
are
doing.
So
if
there's
like
some
happening
going
on
at
a
tennis
court,
you
know
the
I
don't
know
it
wouldn't
bother
me
it's
kind
of,
I
imagine
it
being
like
summer
night.
You
know.
A
F
It's
like
thing
pool
and
tennis
court,
so
it
seems
like
a
nice
area
to
be
at
and
also
possibly
I
don't
know
if
you've
talked
to
the
hotel
about
that
like
they
might.
F
E
There's
all
kinds
of
liability
issues
and
all
of
that
that's
a
private
entity
or
a
public
park,
but
they
would
have
access
just
like
they
have
access
to
the
pool
just
like
they
have
access
to
the
rec
center.
You
know
they
would
have
access
now
in
their
brochures
and
all
of
that
they
certainly
list
all
of
those
things
like
you
know,
brandon,
when
you
guys
are
doing
brew
week
and
stuff,
you
list
all
the
things.
E
E
Yeah,
because
it's
specifically
for
that
project-
okay,
yeah,
it's
for
that
project-
I
I
had
a
concern
about
the
the
the
four
pickleball
courts
down
there.
I
don't
think
they're
gonna
fit.
I
measured
today.
The
underlying
structure
is
100
feet.
E
Yeah,
it's
it's
a
hundred
feet
from
edge
of
the
asphalt
to
the
other
edge
of
the
asphalt
from
the
edge
of
the
asphalt
on
one
side
to
the
pillar,
supports
on
the
other
thing
or
54
feet.
C
C
A
C
E
Because
I
measured
you
know
at
ten
after
five
or
ten
after
four
today,
that
was
100
feet
by
54.
C
E
E
Underneath
here
would
be
my
recommendation,
since
you
don't
have
a
quorum
tonight,
can't
make
any
decisions
can't
make
any
recommendations
would
be
to-
and
I
mention
this
to
brandon
at
your
next
apr
board
meeting-
to
go
into
executive
session
to
screen
the
candidates
that
have
applied
you.
You
can't
talk
about.
You
really
don't
want
to
talk
about
personnel
issues
in
an
open
meeting,
but
you
can
go
into
executive
session
and
discuss
it.
Make
your
recommendations
to
the
mayor.
Get
those
up.
E
I
think
you
get
a
much,
and
I
appreciate
the
time
you
guys
put
into
this.
You
know
I've
been
on.
I
was
on
the
board
for
three
years
and
now
we're
going
into
this,
not
on
the
board,
but
a
part
of
the
board,
and
you
guys
have
all
been
consistent
in
your
attendance.
You've
been
consistent
in
gathering
input
from
the
community
and
I
appreciate
that
I
really
do
and
I
think
the
community
does,
but
I
think
you
get
a
full
complement
of
seven
people.
We
have
a
little
broader
discussion
and
can
make
that
decision.
E
I
wouldn't
hold
it
up
for
this
grant
we're
talking
pennies
we're
talking
pennies
if
we
get
it.
Secondly,
it's
for
fiscal
year,
2023
we're
we're
in
fiscal
year
2022..
E
I
do
like
the
fact
that
there's
an
additional
50
000
coming
quite
honestly,
I
like
to
ask
for
another
50
to
get
back
to
plan
a
but
anyway,
the
point
being.
That
would
be
my
suggestion
because
it
is
now
without
a
quorum.
You
can't
vote
on
anything
can't
make
a
recommendation.
There's
nothing.
I
can
take
back
to
council,
but
when
you
have
your
full
complement
of
seven
and
make
your
recommendation,
then
I
can
take
what
you
back
to
council
and
we
can
push
forward
with
this
project.
B
B
I
will
say
I
do
have
some
reservations
about
this,
but
if
it
fits
it
fits
I.
This
is
not
my
role,
but
you
know
I
have
received
some
emails.
What
people
wanted
more
pickful
antennas?
You
know
I
went
down,
there
left
the
courts
and
our
tennis
courts
are.
I
hadn't
been
up
close
to
because
I
don't
play.
B
I
mean
there's
a
for
people
who
are
watching
this.
I
mean
there's
a
gash,
this
big,
you
know
going
between
the
two
courts
that
go
straight
down.
You
know
I
mean,
and
people
still
use
it,
but
it's
not
usable.
So
I
mean
it's
so
my
thought
is
that
you're
getting
this,
why
we
have,
because
I
my
my
personal
fear,
is
you
know
this
money
won't
always
be
here
because
you
know
maybe
the
roof
falls
in
or
something
else,
and
we
can't
do
anything
and
that's,
and
that
was
some
of
the
discussions
about.
B
How
can
we
expand
this?
You
know,
I
know
I
think
you
said
bdt
is
going
to
to
look
into
seeing
about
maybe
west
state
or
something
like
that.
So
you
know
because
there's
a
need.
I
mean
the
people
you
know
pickleball
is,
I
think,
been
a
discussion
most
of
our
meetings,
since
maybe
the
fall
you
know
about
you
know
trying
to
get
something
moving.
So
I
know
we
don't
have
a
quorum,
but
you
know
we.
There
are
three
of
us
here.
You
know,
and
this
still
has
to
go
to
council.
B
B
B
Yeah
and
I
think
I
think
we
can
do
that
tonight-
that's
I
think
I
know
we're
not
a
quorum
here
but
discussion.
You
know,
I
know
greg
couldn't
be
here
tonight,
but
we
could
also
reach
out
you
know
and
see
how
he
feels
you
know
about
that.
You
know
and
then,
if
we're
all
in
agreement,
if
we're
not,
you
know,
that's
also,
that's
also
something.
I
guess
that's
important.
B
You
know
because
I
I
agree
like
this
is
kind
of
going
back
and
forth
and
it
goes
to
council
and
it
goes
back
and
you
know
like
we
are.
You
know
the
50.
000
is
great,
I
mean
that's
more
money
and
maybe
you
know
figuring
out,
I'm
concerned
about
how
the
the
solar
ray's
gonna
affect
this.
You
know
we
could
find
out
in
two
months.
The
whole
space
is
gonna,
be
used
and
we're
back
to
square
one.
You
know,
but
at
least
we'll
have
a
plan
that
we
can
work
from.
B
So
so
I
think
that's
an
important
thing.
So
then
you
can
move
forward
looking
into
a
solid
thing
versus
this
kind
of
moving
target
that
we're
sitting
on
right
now.
Are
you
going
to
have
300
000?
Is
it?
Is
it
not
so
that
that's
my
feeling
of
this,
so
we
can,
you
know,
have
something
built
for
this
need.
So
that's
that's
where
my
mind
goes
so
enough.
Well,.
E
I
can't
speak
for
the
other
council
members,
but
we
learned
our
lesson
before
you
moved
to
athens
with
terms
of
the
city
school
system,
and
that
is
allocating
money
before
you
have
a
plan
and
with
a
clear
conscience,
and
I
can't
speak
for
the
other
council
members,
I
can't
vote
for
something
if
I
can't
see
a
plan,
particularly
when
the
plan
was
this
and.
C
E
It
was
a
plan
that
everybody
has
changed
from
the
last
week
so
anyway,
the
point
being
I
with
a
clear
conscious
said:
I
can't
speak
for
the
other
six
members
of
council.
I
couldn't
vote
for
something
without
seeing
a
plan,
particularly
when
let
me
just
put
it
that
way
in
terms
of
reaching
out
to
greg
and
all
of
that
now
don't
don't
jeopardize
whatever
action.
It
needs
to
be
an
official
meeting.
E
B
Then
then
do
it
that
way.
I
guess
my
my
concern
is
we're
just
we're
continuing
to
kick
this
kid.
We
select
this.
We
all
agreed
to
be
here.
Something
happened,
I
understand
you
know,
and
I
I
guess
I
do
want
to
repeat
we're
an
advisory
committee
and
we're
trying
to
be
in
align
with
the
department-
and
I
appreciate
you
guys,
even
coming
here
to
these
meetings
to
do
this
because
they
don't
have
to,
and
I
don't
think
we
want
that,
but
I
mean
I
I
feel
like
I've
seen
enough
discussion
about
this.
B
This
seems
like
a
plan
to
me.
You
know
there
are
two
courts
here.
There
are
four
courts
here.
It
comes
in
within
the
budget.
You
know
we're
not
100
sure
if
it'll
be
right
here
right
there,
but
that
feels
like
a
plan
to
me.
I
understand
we
might
disagree
on
that,
but
that's
how
I
feel
about
this
and
trying
to
get
this
this
project
moving,
because
this
is
for
the
tennis
courts
have
been
like
they
are
for
as
long
as
they've
been
so
that
that's
just
that's
how
I
feel
about
that.
So
let.
E
Me
ask
you
what
if
on
that,
what
if
the
solar
thing,
which
I
think
we're
all
in
agreement
is
a
great
thing
and
quite
honestly,
I'm
glad
to
hear
they're
going
to
move
it
from
where
they
were
to
where
it
is
because
driving
down
the
highway
and
looking
over
at
the
library-
and
the
first
thing
you
see
is
a
bunch
of
solar
panels.
E
That's
not
a
real
attractive
welcome
to
the
city
of
athens,
but
over
here
they're
kind
of
hidden
still
doing
their
job,
but
let's
say
that
the
solar
panel
requires
taking
panels
required.
Taking
all
of
that
space,
which
they
very
well
could
that's
very
possible
yeah.
What
do
we
do
with
those
two
tennis
courts?
That's
and
that's,
I
think,
that's
the
discussion
that
comes
and
that's
why
I
think
somebody
asked
I
think
you
did
brandon.
E
B
Just
for
for
me,
I
feel
like
getting
that
money
down
and
then
saying
this
is
the
scope.
The
scope
is
still
in
this
making
it
acceptable.
That's
that's
how
I
think
I
view
it
because
I
I
think
moving
that
way
is
going
to
be
a
disservice
to
the
this
community.
You
know
as
far
as
just
getting
this
project
done.
B
You
know
because
there
will
be
more
discussion
and
you
know
it'd
be
one
thing
if
we
didn't
know
how
many
courts
were
going
to
have,
because
I
went
back
and
looked
at
the
notes,
because
I
remember
that
that
what
you
mentioned
there's
like
when
did
we
have
that
and
there
was
like
a
it-
was
the
fall
one
I
think
or
something
like
that,
the
november
one
it's
when
you
were
talking
to
bdt
it's
one
of
your
updates
or
whatever,
then
that's
when
we
came
back
with
this,
you
know
call
it
three
quarts.
B
I
guess.
If
you
call
it,
you
know
it's
two
tennis
courts
and
you
know
four
pickleball
courts
but
yeah.
I
still
feel
like
it's
playing,
I
mean
anything,
could
change.
You
know
the
the
space
could
open
up
there.
Could
be
a
sinkhole,
I
mean
that
that
is
the
reality.
You
know
I
mean
that's
the
reality
of
what
we're
dealing
with
you
know
and
so,
but
to
me
like
not
having
planets
here's
300
thousand
000,
we
don't
know
what
you're
doing
with
it.
You
know
here's
300
200,
you
know
250
plus
50.
B
B
B
E
So
if
it
went
back
to
if
it
was
amended
well,
I
I
don't
see
how
it
can
be
amended
on
the
next
council
meeting,
because
there's
no
official
report
from
this
group.
So
let's
say
it
here-
excuse
me
trying
to
find
a
calendar
here.
Let's
your
next
meeting
is
on
the
21st
okay
21st.
E
It
could
then
be
reported
to
council
on
the
2nd
of
may,
which
could
be
if
it's
an
amendment
first
reading.
Second
reading
on
the
16th
third
reading
on
june,
the
6th
you're
good.
B
And
that's
it
and
we
missed
the
grant.
In
our
I
mean,
that's,
I
think
our
funds,
everyone
is
asking
for
upper
funds.
C
And
we
have
gotten
three
hundred
thousand
dollars
to
pad
back
into
273,
which
is
one
of
the
reasons
why
we
could
do
this.
I
said
we've
gotten
arpa
funds
to
which
it
already
so.
B
C
B
And
these
this
video
could
serve
as
discussion.
I
mean
I
know
we're
not
officially
taking
action,
but
there's
discussion
here.
It's
not
it's
not
like
this
meeting
didn't
happen
right
now,
and
so
so
this
could
be
used
as
reference
to
questions
that
are
asked
and
stuff
like
that.
So
that's
why
I
feel
like
there
is
information
out
there
to
be
had
you
know
everyone
wants
to
know
what
the
discussions
were.
The
the
picture
was
up
there,
so
yeah.
B
I
feel
like
there,
you
know,
there's,
there's
information
here
that
can
be
used
for
you
know,
city
council's
use,
you
know
of
the
discussion
of
the
project
but
forth.
I
think
the
big
thing
is
the
feeling
of
the
advisory
council,
because
you
know
city
council
had
asked
you
know
to
hear
from
us,
and
I
appreciate
that
because,
typically
I
don't
think
that
usually
happens,
you
know.
B
So
I
appreciate
you
know
they've
come
into
this
space
and
enjoying
our
best,
and
so
I
think,
we've
we've
tried
our
best
to
meet
and
have
more
discussions.
We
spent
pretty
much
the
entirety
of
last
week's
meeting
and
this
meeting
on
this.
So
I
don't.
I
don't
see
much
changing
at
another
meeting
other
than
we
would
miss
out
on
the
odnr
funds
and
possibly
the
arpa
funds.
You
know
because
it's
just
more
time
you
know
so
which
also
jeopardizes
this
project
so
just
kind
of
where
my
my
thinking
goes
with.
B
B
You
know,
so
we
won't
have
the
impact
on
that.
You
know
and
it
gets
us
three
tennis
quart
size
courts.
You
know
which
is
a
start
and
then
maybe,
if
we
hear
more
from
bdt,
you
know
and-
and
we
stay
within
this
budget
line,
maybe
we
can
also
build
something
else
new
in
another
area.
You
know
to
appease
this
increase
in
pickleball
and
tennis.
D
Yeah,
I
know
on
top
I
I
don't
want
catherine
to
miss
out
on
this
grant
opportunity.
This
will
gamble.
When
you
apply
for
grants,
you
may
or
may
not
get
it.
However,
a
record
of
applying
is
good.
A
record
record
of
applying
and
being
successful
successful
is
better,
so
I
don't
I
don't
want
to.
I
don't
want
us
to
miss
out
on
this
opportunity,
and
I
mean
I
I
know
that
might
push
us
to
make
a
decision
but
yeah.
D
I
think
that
that's
key
and
should
be
factored
in
and
again
it's
it's
not
guaranteed,
but
it
is
an
opportunity.
C
C
B
Well,
we
can't
vote
so
yeah,
but
I
guess
his
record.
I
I'd
support.
You
know
the
board.
If
we
need
to
email
you
or
something
like
that,
but
you
know
exploring
this.
You
know,
I
know
how
it
works
for
you,
alan.
I
know
you
have
to
take
the
report
back,
but
you
know
we
can
also
you
know,
email,
our
city,
council
representatives
and
have
them
look
at
this
video
to
see,
because
you
know
it's
not
an
official
meeting.
B
You
know
we
didn't
have
a
quorum,
so
we
didn't
have
any
act
but
there's
discussion
which
was
had
here
today.
You
know-
and
I
don't
know
the
general
feeling
is
you
know
moving
forward
with.
I
think
I
don't
know
if
someone
told
me
if
I
feel
wrong
of
moving
forward
with,
because
the
majority
of
you
know
voting
members
are
here
today,
but
moving
forward
with
you
know
maybe
option
one
or
two,
and
I
don't
want
to
speak
for
you.
I
heard
from
travis,
but
any
thoughts
on
that.
F
F
F
I,
with
that
said,
I,
like
the
you,
know,
the
idea
of
expanding,
though,
and
achieving
our
goal,
because
I
know
that
was
you
know
slightly
different
than
it
is
now,
but
but
yeah
we've
been
talking
about
this,
and
so
it's
about
time
for
action
to
happen.
E
To
your
point,
daniel,
you
could
actually
do
that.
Council
always
has
the
option
of
suspending
the
rules.
What
suspending
the
rules
does
is
takes
a
five-week
process
and
turns
it
into
a
one-week
process.
So
going
back
to
that
calendar.
If
on
the
17th,
you
can
get
everybody
here,
get
some
people
get
some
people
recommended.
E
The
mayor
can
act
on
that
very
quickly.
He
could
actually,
if
you
could
do
that
on
the
seven
excuse
me,
the
21st
and
have
recommendations
to
him.
Council
could
actually
act
on
that
as
early
as
the
25th,
with
a
special
session
or
may
or
may
2nd
for
sure
on
may
2nd
they
could.
They
could,
you
know,
or
anyway
in
may,
could
go
back
to
first
reading.
E
B
E
Yeah
and
yeah
and
I'm
not
a
big
fan
of
suspending
the
rules,
but
you
know
something
like
this:
with
the
deadline
like
we
had
a
deadline,
I'll
tell
you
what
it
was,
I
don't
in
the
weeds.
We
had
a
deadline.
Monday
night,
we
had
run
out
of
not
money.
E
We
needed
more
money,
so
we
suspended
the
rules
and
passed
that
that
was
an
emergency
situation,
not
everything's
emerging
in
this
case,
where
you
have
a
grant
a
deadline
which
we
have
no
control
over.
That
very
well
could
be
considered
emergency
situation.
You
know
nobody
wants
to
leave
money
laying
on
the
table
yeah.
No,
I
agree
and
travis
is
right.
E
I
mean
it
comes
from
a
higher
ed
background,
where
they're
very
dependent
on
grants,
and
if
you
don't
apply,
you
don't
ever
get
one,
and
if
you
apply
it
looks
good
and
if
you
get
one,
it
even
looks
better
and
have
chances
for
even
getting
more
so
anyway,
that
that
just
a
thought
and
and
daniel
appreciate
that
I
I
do
think
no
offense
by
any
means.
I
appreciate
your
service,
everybody,
but
the
broader,
the
I
think,
the
better
yeah.
B
B
You
know
it's
it's
it's
it's
it's
a
lot,
my
largest
projects
we've
had
since,
since
I've
been
on
this
board
and
yes
yeah,
but
I
I
I
do
want
to
just
you
know,
break
up,
I
mean
once
the
board
is
here
that
has
been
here
for
a
while
have
been
having
this
discussion
and
I
agree.
More
more
voices
is
always
helpful.
You
know,
and
the
community,
if
you're,
listening
or
watching
you
know,
continue
to
send
us
emails.
B
I've
received
emails
for
and
against
this
project
actually,
and
so,
but
please,
you
know,
let
us
know,
but
I
do
feel
I
think
it's
important
that
city
council
is
aware
that
you
know
the
majority
of
the
the
arts
park
and
correct
community
is
an
agreement.
Maybe
one
or
two
is
the
way
to
move
forward.
You
know,
I
know
we
can't
officially
say
this
is
what
we
say.
B
Catherine
anne,
but
you
know
I
think
this
meeting
and
you
know
I
don't
believe
another
meeting
is
going
to
bring
any
more
information
that
will
be
any
more
clear
than
what
we
have
right
now.
I
think
we,
you
know
the
the
money's
been
presented.
Hopefully
it
stays
within
this.
I
know
it's
inflated,
you
know
with
costs
and
everything
like
that,
but
this
feels
like
you
know,
and
the
excitement
around
just
kind
of
revitalizing,
even
bringing
up
the
dog
part
and
everything
like
that
revitalizing
this
whole
area,
because
this
whole
area
needs
love.
B
You
know
it
just
does,
and
I
feel
like
this.
This
project
you
know,
could
help
that
could
spark
some
of
the
excitement
for
the
people
who
aren't
aren't
tuned
into
this
aren't
involved
with
racket,
sports
or
any
of
this
or
dog
parks,
but
just
go
through
that
space
and
see
hey.
You
know
what
they're
they're
putting
energy
into
this
you
know
so
that
that's,
I
think,
that's
I
think
what
I'd
like
you
know.
B
B
B
Exactly
so,
can
I
get
a
motion
to
adjourn?
Oh,
I
guess
I
I
do
want
to
share.
It
was
always
the
intention
that,
with
this
project,
we
are
trying
to
build
another
court
or
look
exploring
that.
I
think
that
might
get
missed
for
some
people.
So
I
just
want
that
to
be
on
the
record
that
you
know
us
agreeing
this
we're
looking
at
building
like
so
getting
us
up
to
those
four
ports.
That
is
not
we're
just
taking
three
chords
but
we're
trying
to
get
to
that.
B
Fourth
quarter,
if
possible
and
exploring
that,
and
if
we
can
do
this,
maybe
we
can,
you
know,
build
this
and
then
have
another
court
or
just
see
we
have
so
just
so
people
don't
think
they
just
we
just
accepted
three,
and
that
was
that
that's
not
what
we're
accepting
we're
trying
to
do
this
with
the
budget.
We
have
and
then
hopefully
explore.
I
think,
like
you
said,
like
maybe
another
thing
at
west
state
or
maybe
richmond
avenue
I
I
highland
park.
B
I
don't
feel
as
space
that'd
really
work,
but
you
know
that
maybe
that
or
something,
but
I
think
I
just
want
people
to
understand
that
as
well,
so
when
they're
they're
listening
to
stuff,
because
if
you
know
pickleball
is
exploding
as
big
as
this,
I've
received
numerous
emails,
saying
it's
the
fastest
growing
sport,
you
know
we'll
need
to
continue
to.
You
know
sustain
that.
So
I
just
want
people
to
understand
that.
But
can
I
get
a
motion
to
adjourn.
