Description
Athens Recreation Advisory Board - March 16, 2023
A
A
B
C
A
Of
time,
okay,
the
other
thing
that
I
wanted
to
get
on
there
would
be
under
announcements
and
I.
Don't
if
someone
could
help
me
with
the
dates
but
I
know
in
April,
there's
all
boards
and
commissions
meeting
that
I
got
an
email
for
so
I
think
we
should.
A
D
So
that's
something
yeah
5
30
to
6
30.
C
A
A
All
right
anything
else:
okay,
if
we
want
to
go
ahead
and
take
a
vote
on
the
agenda
all
in
favor
of
the
agenda
as
it
is
with
the
inclusion
of
other
business
timing
and
responsibilities
of
the
agenda
and
the
minutes,
and
then
under
announcements
and
other
business
I.
Guess
there
is
the
other
business.
A
Okay,
February
15th
was
our
joint
meeting
with
AMAC,
which
thought
went
very
well.
It
was
nice
to
get
a
glimpse
into
what
they
are
doing
and
I'm
looking
forward
to
doing
the
twice
annual
meeting
with
them.
So
has
everybody
had
a
chance
to
look
at
the
minutes
and
go
over
them?
Does
anybody
have
anything
that
they
would
like
to
to
add
or
have
changed?
A
The
only
thing
I
noticed
was
that
the
there's
this
typo
at
the
bottom,
where
Kelly
made
a
motion
to
adjourn.
That
was
the
only
thing
everything
seemed
good
to
me.
A
All
right
for
new
business,
it
looks
like
the
old
business
is
still
the
new
business.
A
So
with
that
said,
I
had
been
spending
a
bit
of
time,
thinking
about
the
bylaws
process
and
talked
with
Patty
Whitmer
a
little
bit
and
we
have
the
there
is.
A
template.
Word
template
that
Ash
and
I
are
going
to
get
together
and
work
on
the.
A
A
Or
we
had
gone,
we
had
talked
discussed
our
roles,
and
that
is
part
of
in
in
the
bylaws.
We
have
Mission
and
purpose
so.
B
A
B
A
That's
what
I
understand
as
well,
and
so
my
thoughts
on
that
are
Ash
and
I
will
we'll
get
together
a
good,
solid
draft
and
then
I
feel
like
it
will
be
good
for
all
of
us
to
discuss
and
if
there
are
things
that
need
to
be
updated
because
sometimes
are
you
know
they
change,
and
that
would
be
the
time
to
do
it
with
knowing
that
that
would
have
to
go
through
city,
council
and
I.
Think
that
would
be
all
right.
So
that's
that's
kind
of
the
plan
now.
A
A
D
A
And
we'll-
and
we
can
yes
and
we
can
kind
of
delve
into
that
more
with
the
other
business.
As
far
as
the
agenda
I
do
apologize
for
how
this
month
went,
but
it
just
it
was
kind
of
how
life
goes
sometimes,
but
we
got
one
and
we're
here
so
then
the
other
old
business,
the
ad
hoc
committee
for
the
master
plan
and
and
Catherine
Ann
I,
saw
your
attachment
with
the
2014
master
plan.
Look
through
that
a
little
bit
so
that
is
there.
Anything
that
we
want
to
add
is
that
so.
B
Andrew
has
sent
me
Andrew
started,
sending
me
some
documents
that
we'll
need,
in
terms
of
like
inventory
and
planning,
and
some
other
stuff
like
that
and
I
started
to
work
on
a
spreadsheet.
So
we
can
discuss
it.
Our
first
meeting
as
a
small
Committee
of
you
know
how
we
want
to
move
forward
and
talk
with
Catherine
Ann
about
any
resources
that
she
has
come
up
with
and
I.
Think
if
we
could
schedule
that,
like
within
the
next
two
weeks,
just
an
initial
sit
down.
B
F
Yeah
I
was
thinking
I.
Like
that
plan.
You
know,
I
was
I
was
ready
to
to
talk
about
the
first
step
of
of
just
doing
the
inventory,
and
that
sounds
like
that's
kind
of
where
your
head
is,
and
that's
that's,
perfect,
yeah,
because
some,
you
know
some
things
have
changed
since
this.
The
this,
this
Recreation
inventory
was
done,
and
so
that's
the
first
step
see
what
do
we
have.
D
F
Plan,
oh
good
question
no
and
I
had
High
Hopes
this
week
to
go
through.
G
F
Say
what
we
have
done,
what
has
been
accomplished
since
this,
but
I
did
not
have
the
opportunity
to
do
that
in
between
the
last
and
this
one.
F
On
Yeah
well
yeah,
but
that's
also
a
good
thing
that
we
could
even
add
into
so
kind
of
you
know
as
a
new
master
plan.
Part
of
that
framing
is
what
have
we
done
from
the
last
one.
You
know
what
what
needs
based
on
the
24
14
master
plan
still
exist,
and
you
know,
what's
the
recognition
inventory
so
yeah,
that's
a
great.
It
definitely
work
on
that.
F
B
A
A
Yes,
I
am
the
reason
I
bring.
That
up
is
if
anybody
is
interested
in
either
this
or
the
bylaws.
You
know
so
there
were
only
two
on
the
bylaws
Sash
and
myself
yeah.
B
C
A
People
in
the
Bible
yeah
I
feel,
like
that's
good
I,
feel
like
that's.
Okay,
that's
will
be
fine
because
we'll
meet
and
Ash
and
I
will
meet,
and
then
we
can
all
discuss
it
once
this
yeah
once
that's
put
together
and
then
I
feel
like.
That
would
be
good
because
we'll
have
the
whole
on
board's
input.
It's
all
right.
A
Okay
looks
like
Catherine
in
here
all.
F
Oh,
we
are
still
accepting
applications,
we're
interviewing
we're
hiring
folks,
we
are
getting
a
good
return
rate
from
staff
that
we
were
able
to
certify
last
year
who
were
on
staff
last
year,
but
we
also
have
a
lot
of
folks
who
aren't
certified,
lifeguard
certified
and
so
really
it's
it's
challenging
in
this
area.
But
we
are
beating
that
challenge
to
get
people
certified.
F
We've
gotten
the
OU
Aquatics
lifeguard
certification
filled
up
with
our
our
new
hires,
and
so
we're
really
grateful
to
have
that
connection
with
ou,
and
then
we
also
have
an
April
certification
course,
starting
and
Joe
Weekley,
the
assistant
Aquatics
director
at
the
University,
said
that
they
also
are
planning
on
having
a
May
one
on
the
book.
So
if
we
need
to
certify
some
more
folks
in
May,
so
I'm
feeling
really
good
about
that.
F
It's
definitely
a
different
feeling
than
this
time
last
year.
So
it's
exciting.
A
lot
of
groundwork
was
laid
last
year,
so
we
are
still
kind
of
planning
this
family
restroom
retrofitting
it
with
the
universal
size.
Changing
table
we're
running
into
it's
hard
to
make
a
clear
decision,
because
there's
not
clear
guidelines
on
Ada.
F
And
then,
whenever
you
install
an
adult
changing
table,
how
does
that
change
it
and
then
it's
recommendations,
because
it's
not
code
yet
so
we're
I'm,
I'm
working
with
a
variety
of
groups
and
trying
to
get
clarification
so
that
whenever
we,
you
know,
do
make
the
decision
or
finally
are
ready
to
install
that
we
are
still
within
ADA
compliance
and
yeah
so
that
one's
a
little
bit
more
complicated
than
than
we
all
had
originally
hoped.
F
Whenever
we
were
all
measuring
and
and
in
in
the
restroom,
so
anyways,
that's
still
there
we're
we're
working
through
it.
We
got
the
lightning
alert
system.
I've
been
working
with
the
company
I
strike
on
the
back
end
of
getting
the
software
set
up
and
we've
gotten
that
set
up,
and
it
looks
really
nice
on
the
back
end.
But
our
siren
itself
is
not
working,
and
so
they
just
sent
me
a
return
label.
So
we're
gonna
get
a
new
one
shipped
to
us.
F
I,
don't
know
it
sounds
like
something's
rattling
in
there,
and
so
I
was
like
I.
Think
something
happened.
The
Box
looks
fine,
but
you
know
I,
don't
know
so
anyways.
If
you
still
have
time,
I'm
still
excited
about
the
lightning
alert
system,
I
think
it
will
be
really
nice,
especially
since
we've
walked
through
different
scenarios
and
what
we
can
do
and
what
the
capability
is
and
that'll
be
that'll
be
really
nice
for.
Everyone
can
I
ask
a
dumb
question
about
that:
it's
not
a
dumb
question,
so.
G
G
F
Mean
obviously
me
getting
on
my
phone
and
checking
the
radar
and
all
of
that
that's
going
to
be
different.
I
guess
it
could
be
interrupted,
but
great
question.
Now
when
the
power
goes
out
at
the
pool,
we
don't
have
a
backup
generator,
so
you
can
get
a
backup
battery
pack
for
that
for
several
thousand
dollars.
G
G
F
We're
okay
on
that
one
and
you
can
set
it
so
that
during
certain
hours,
if
you
were
to
have
a
2,
A.M
thunderstorm,
it's
not
going
to
be
going
off
because
we
don't
need
to
know
whether
or
not
people
need
to
get
out
of
the
water
at
2
am
so
you
can
set.
F
You
know
what
time
frame
of
the
day.
Do
you
need
to
know
so
7
A.M
to
9
or
10
p.m,
depending
on
how
late
we
have
our
rentals,
and
so
that's
also
really
nice,
and
then
we
ordered
we
got
paint
ordered,
which
is
great,
because
we
need
to
do
some
touch-up
paint
on
the
pool
and
we
just
got
our
vacuum
delivered
today,
which
is
exciting
and
we're
still
on
track
for
the
new
splash
ride
circus
in
April.
F
So
we
are
we're
doing
great
and
our
pool
manager
she's
been
really
busy
planning
out
schedule
for
the
summer
and
what
swim?
Lessons
are
going
to
look
like
what
our
daily
operations
are
going
to
look
like
and
working
with,
Bobcat
swim
as
well,
and
so
we're
and
she's
already
been
to
work
with
copperheads
some
trying
to
plan
out
some
events
and
yeah.
So
we're.
F
Oh
yeah,
so
we
on
May
20th
is
I.
Think
that's
kids
to
Parks
day.
We
are
gonna,
be
not
open
for
swimming
open
swim,
but
our
plan
is
that
we're
going
to
be
open
and
we'll
be
selling
like
preseason
passes.
We
want
to
do
swim
tests
that
day,
so
we
haven't
quite
figured
out
what
that
would
look
like
to
have
people
register,
but
try.
That
was
something
that
you
know.
It's
really
good.
F
Our
pool
manager
experience
what
the
pool
was
like
last
year
in
the
season
and
one
of
the
things
whenever
I
was
talking
to
her
about
well
what
what
are
some
things
that
we
do
differently,
she's
saying
that
you
know
having
all
of
these
swim
tests
is
hard
for
people
to
get
through
in
order
to
swim,
because
you
have
to
go,
find
a
guard,
and
you
know
that
it's
just
it's
just
complicated,
because
people
are
either
on
break
or
they're
actively
guarding,
and
so
we
were
trying
to
think
of
scheduled
time.
F
So
yeah
we
would
still
be
able
to
have
people
do
swim
tests
whenever
they
come.
You
know,
but
that,
hopefully,
if
we
can
organize
some
specific
times
and
dates
that
it
would
lessen
the
volume
of
people
who
were
coming
and
and
wanting
to
do
swim
tests
so
that
they
could
swim
in
the
deep
end.
And
so
we
want
to
do
that
for
kids
to
park
stay
and
we
also
are
going
to
have
a
splash
pad
open.
F
So
we'll
have
some
sales
going
on
I
haven't
nailed
down
exactly
the
registration
date
for
the
swim
lessons,
but
we
do
have.
She
has
scheduled
out,
I,
think
four
sessions
and
we'll
have
morning
and
evening
swim
lessons.
The
first
week
of
the
pool
might
look
a
little
different
because
we're
going
to
have
the
water
safety
instructor
trainer
come
and
certify
our
guards
and
water
safety
as
water
safety
instructors.
F
I
guess
it's
the
second
week
from
real
Day
weekend,
whatever
June
3rd
is
through
our
fourth
fifth
and
6th,
something
Sunday,
Monday,
Tuesday
and
maybe
Wednesday
so,
depending
on
how
many
people
we
have
going
through
that
we
can
have
up
to
or
a
little
over
20,
then
you
know
we
might
have
to
change
our
hours
if
we
don't
have
enough
guards
to
actually
guard.
But
it's
a
you
know
it's
pretty
cold,
then
so,
but
we
gotta
do
that
before.
F
F
F
We
start
picking
up
favorite
coach's
meeting
next
week
and
then
we
can
start
practices
the
following
week
and
open
play.
Saturday
came
to
an
end,
we're
still
doing
we
wigglers
on
Friday
mornings.
F
We've
got
our
Pre-K
before
and
aftercare
all
going
great
spring
break.
Camp
is
happening
right
now,
which
is
super
fun.
They
had
reptiles,
come
visit
today
and
amphibians,
and
so
that
was
exciting.
They,
my
kids,
brought
home
some
snakeskin
and
that
was
awesome.
They
got
to
hold
a
snake,
and
so
that
was
fun
and
summer.
Camp
registration
will
open
at
the
end
of
March.
So
we're
also
planning
out
what
our
themed
weeks
look
like
and
then
we
also
have
on
March
31st
kids
night
out.
F
So
if
anybody
has
kids
K
through
5th
fifth
grade-
and
they
want
three
hours
of
non-kid
time
on
Friday
March,
31st
register
I
believe
it
was
25
to
register
your
kid
and
they
can
we're
going
to
program
and
play
and
I'm
not
going
to,
because
I
am
going
to
go
on
a
date.
Is
that
Mom's
weekend?
Yes,
great.
F
Let's
see
Fitness,
we
actually
had
a
big
spring
cleaning.
Today
we
called
it
our
spring
clean
Purge,
where
we
were
kind
of
working
through
stuff
that
had
accumulated
in
our
back
storage
area.
That
was
ready
to
go
on
outside
of
the
community
center
and
leave
our
space
and
we're
getting
ready
to
accept
new
fitness
equipment.
F
So
whenever
that
will
come,
I
think
it's
in
the
next
couple
weeks
our
intern
brought
back
the
member
Spotlight
she's
been
doing
really
awesome
work
for
us
she's,
bringing
back
things
that
we've
been
talking
about
and
also
taking
new
ideas
and
and
running
with
it.
So
we're
really
pleased
with
her.
F
So
some
of
the
collaborations
for
that
kind
of
were
on
rotation
to
renew
the
Athens
Ohio
Soccer
Organization
we've
been
working
with
them
to
help
their
adult
soccer
league
function
and
gasa
also
donated
SO
gas
is
the
great
greater
Athens
Soccer
Association.
They
donated
a
little
over
five
thousand
dollars
for
a
new
set
of
goals.
So
we're
really
appreciative
of
those
and
I.
F
Oh
I,
now
I
don't
even
know
if
they
have
been
I
want
to
say:
they've
been
delivered,
but
I
could
be
mistaken
and
adult
soccer
registration
is
open
right
now.
So,
if
you're
interested
in
playing
adult
soccer,
18
plus
then
and
register
through
us
to
to
play
the
aoso
adult
league
We
Got
The
Sandlot
mou
signed
Adina
Spears
mou,
we
have
a
lot
of
mous
with
different
groups.
I
I
Let's
talk
about
potential
collaboration,
yes,
and
so
the
Patton
College
of
Education
have
put
out
and
out
of
creating
a
new
Outreach
Grant
and
for
up
to
two
and
a
half
thousand
dollars.
I
What
could
you
envisage
potentially
where
we
can
assist
with
this
collaboration?
And
how
can
this
money
like
help
you
and
help
create
something
using
a
grant,
because
I
want
to
try
and
get
involved
in
more
and
tap
into
more
grants
to
assist
you
and
assist
the
the
local
community,
especially
from
a
youth
sports
perspective.
I
Partly
yeah
just
how
we
can
collaborate
a
little
bit
better
collaboration
is
something
that
we
we
want
to
try
and
do
more
yeah
with
the
recreation
center.
But
I
guess
like
we'll,
have
good
discussions
then,
but
kind
of
like
it's
it's
a
bit
of
an
open
book.
We
can.
We
can
use
that
money
for
whatever
we
want
yeah.
We
write
the
Grant
and
come
back
and
and
submit
it,
and
we've
got
a
couple
of
Faculty
that
are
willing
to
help
me
with
that.
I
I
Okay,
last
the
last
that
I
had
it
was
an
annual
Outreach
ground,
owl
College,
doing
yeah.
F
C
F
I
mean
growing
up,
I
played
soccer
and
we
always
had
a
week
or
two
long
soccer
camps
and
I.
Don't
know
how
I
don't
know
how
they
organized
it.
But
it
was
always.
You
know
people
who
played
either
college
soccer
somewhere
and
they
would
all
come.
F
You
know
to
our
town
and
they
would
be
the
coaches
and
Camp
counselors
for
the
week,
but
I
think
sport
camps
or
even
clinics
to
introduce
kids
to
maybe
different
sports
that
they're
not
ready
to
commit
to
for
a
whole
season,
but
I
think
there's
a
lot
of
opportunity
that
we've
talked
about
that
we've
been,
would
love
to
be
able
to
do,
and
it
just
takes
a
little
bit
of
help.
Yeah.
I
F
That's
exciting,
thank
you
just
put
water
on
myself
yeah.
So
if
anybody
has
a
thought,
as
I'm
talking
just
feel
free
to
say,
wait,
I'm,
gonna,
I'm
gonna
say
something
at
Arts.
West
we've
got
our
normal
kind
of
programming
happening,
and
the
really
big,
exciting
news
is
that
this
weekend
tomorrow
is
the
opening
day
for
the
show
Once
the
musical,
and
it's
we're
really
proud
of
the
work
that
you
know.
I
say
we
but
books,
ours
must
have
been
able
to
accomplish.
F
They
yeah
they've
been
working
really
hard
over
there.
It's
kind
of
transformed
that
space,
which
is
really
cool
to
see
for
the
show-
and
it's
this
weekend-
Friday
Saturday
and
Sunday,
and
it's
for
Disabilities
awareness
month
and
there
will
be
a
sensory
friendly
show
on
Saturday
I,
believe
it's
2
p.m
is
the
sensory
friendly
and
then
the
Friday
night,
Saturday
night
and
Sunday
night
ones
are
at
8
pm
and
they
even
have
they
put
out
information
about
where
you
park.
F
So
if
you,
you
know,
be
accessible,
use,
accessible
parking
Park
in
the
regular
parking
lot,
but
if
you
don't
try
to
park
elsewhere
within
the
neighborhood
area,
the
Middle
School
area
and
make
your
way
to
Arts
West.
That's
the
one
challenge
we
have.
F
There
is
ample
parking,
but
we're
really
excited
about
about
that
and
I'm
excited
to
see
the
show
and
then
the
beacon,
school
and
Alexander
Middle
School
paper
quilts
were
installed
in
the
community
center
for
Disabilities
awareness
month
and
if
you
haven't
seen
those
I
know,
I've
taken
some
pictures
and
I
posted
it
up
on
Facebook
at
some
early
on
in
March,
whenever
we
put
it
up,
but
it's
really
exciting
and
then
I
added
some
sensory
panels,
because
I
felt
like
there
needed
to
be
some.
F
Leave
so
and
then
the
kids
love
have
loved
it
so
much
our
spring
break
kids
that
they
have
the
the
the
the
paper
quilts
that
the
Alexander
middle
school
students
and
vegan
school
work
done,
that
they
created
they've
created
their
own
in
spring
break
Camp.
It
was
just
kind
of
something
that
happened,
and
so
they
each
got
a
little
square
to
work
on
and
we're
gonna
put
that
together.
F
F
It's
you
know
we're
prepping
for
springtime
and
summertime
we've
prepped
the
surface
for
the
new
to
us,
playground
in
West,
State,
Street
Park,
and
so
we
need
that
dirt.
That
was
that
we
moved
in
and
spread
out
to
just
kind
of
like
settle
and
harden
a
little
bit
before
we
go
for
the
installation,
so
we're
scheduling
the
installation
out
of
that
playground.
So
that's
really
exciting.
F
We
we
had
to
order
some
playground
replacement
parts
and
we
so
we've
had
those
installed
and
we're
still.
We
don't
really
have
any
updates
about
the
extended
parking
around
the
West
Side
Community
Gardens
in
the
Crosley
field
area
other
than
we
are
still
talking
about
it
and
trying
to
figure
out
what
we
can
accomplish
in-house
and
what
we
need
to
get
assistance
with
sales.
F
Park
ponds
I'm
really
excited
about
what
we've
been
doing
with
South
spark
Pond
we've
gotten
an
annual
Pond
management
and
maintenance
plan
already
scheduled
I
met
with
the
Jones
fish
and
pond
management,
and
they
kind
of
looked
at
our
pond.
F
We
met
out
there
and
we're
gonna
take
out
some
of
the
Cattails,
not
all
there's
just
an
overgrowth
of
The
Cattails
and
so
kind
of
bring
that
back
to
a
level,
that's
healthy
for
the
pond
they're
going
to
treat
the
pond
for
algae
because,
again,
there's
some
algae
is
good
and
healthy
for
the
pond
life
and
for
our
Wildlife
biodiversity.
But
too
much
is
not,
and
we
have
way
too
much
and
then
we're
going
to
test
to
see
how
many
we
have
like
fish
like
big,
healthy
fish.
F
So
we're
gonna
put
some
minnows
in
and
then
you
basically
observe
and
they're
gonna.
Do
that
observe
the
minnows
and
you
know
how
quickly
they
disappear
versus
not,
and
that
will
tell
us
a
little
bit
about
the
Aquatic
Health
Aquatic
Life
Health
of
our
pond,
and
whether
or
not
we
need
to
add
some
fish.
So
we
can
fish
in
there
or
maybe
they're.
F
F
They
come
out
twice
a
month
in
the
kind
of
April
to
October
months
and
assess
the
health
and
treat
as
needed
of
your
pond,
because
we
really
envisioned
this
Pond
being
it
can
be
a
really
awesome
recreational
resource
and
draw
Wildlife
viewing
for
people
to
experience,
nature
right
there
in
the
city.
So
so.
F
F
F
The
reason
I'm
saying
that
is
because
it's
there's
different
groups
who
are
managing
those
and
I
think
that's
in
what
preserve
or
Reserve.
Is
that
one
specifically
in
what's
that?
Is
it.
B
F
F
F
Muck
sucking
okay,
so
this
is
a
really
big,
exciting
part.
Muck
sucking
is
gonna
happen
and
we
are
tentatively
in
it's.
You
know
the
month
of
June,
we
have
a
week,
but
they
say
that
this
can
change
depending
on
a
lot
of
things,
but
generally
speaking
the
month
of
June
and
basically
that's
really
environmentally
friendly
dredging
and
we're
not
going
to
kill
off
all
of
the
ponds
life.
We
don't
have
to
drain
it
completely
out
and
have
a
lot
of
invasive
excavation
happen,
and
so
that's
really
exciting.
F
I
didn't
even
know
this
was
an
option
and
so
we're
gonna
suck
that
muck
in
June
and
it's
gonna
go
and
it's
gonna
go
into
a
really
really
big
what
they
call
geotubes.
So
you'll
start
seeing
at
cells,
Park,
wood
chips,
starting
to
pile
up
and
those
wood
chips
are
prepping
to
handle
the
geotube
and
the
geotube
is
where
they've
stuck
all
the
muck
into,
and
then
they
let
it
drain
and
dry
and
then
once
they
remove
the
bag,
then
we
have
some
good
quality
soil
that
we
can
use
yeah
it's
exciting.
F
F
So
then
we're
working
on
our
riparian
area
kind
of
planning,
the
pollinator
habitat
met
with
staff
and
Soil
and
Water
Conservancy
folks
to
discuss
the
plan,
so
we
ordered
seed
from
them
and
we
will
plant
that
seed
in
April
originally
I
wanted
to
have
a
community
of
it,
but
the
way
that
we
need
to
plant
the
seed
is
different
than
what
I
had
in
my
mind,
so
that
we
don't
agitate
and
bring
back
some
invasive.
So
we
have
to
do
a
no-till
drill.
F
Yeah
we
have
the
new
dog
water,
we're
still
working
on
getting
the
water
completely
in
water,
Cruise
been
out
and
marked,
we've
got
agility
equipment
and
the
Water
fountains
for
the
dog
parks
have
been
ordered.
F
So
those
should
be
in
the
next
four
to
six
weeks
and
then
for
the
community
events
working
on
the
music
in
the
park
series
scheduling
bands
still
the
summer
movies
in
the
Park
series
and
I
guess
closer
than
summer,
we
have
kids
to
park,
stay
which
I
mentioned
on
is
May
20th,
then
during
beautification
week-ish
somewhere
around
there,
I
want
to
that's
what
I'm
trying
to
do
for
the
rain
Garden
restoration.
F
But
for
the
community
event,
we
need
to
kind
of
uncover
some
of
the
The
Rock
boundaries
and
we
need
to
dig
out
and
put
gravel
back
in
and
the
drainage
trench.
That
kind
of
goes
into
the
rain
garden.
And
so
so.
B
F
G
F
B
G
F
H
Can
I
ask
a
question
as
well
just
Parks
and
Rec
ever
get
involved
in
Kids
Fest
at
the
University
it's
put
on
by
children,
services.
H
Okay,
I'm
just
trying
to
find
the
date
I
think
it's
the
weekend
of
the
sixth
I
think
that
I
can
confirm
that
with
you
in
May,
no
I'm,
sorry
in
April,
oh
okay,
and
until
that
Walter
Field
House
on
campus.
But
I
know
that
the
Copperheads,
for
example,
will
have
a
booth
and
do
some
sort
of
interaction
with
the
kids
but
I'm.
Just
thinking
to
promote
the
pool
and.
F
H
Opportunity
to
just
promote
what
you're
doing.
F
Yeah
so
yeah
that
would
be.
J
H
D
Just
real
quick
when
the
muck
sucking
happens
is
that
Trailhead
have
to
be
closed
for
a
significant
period
of
time.
F
That's
a
good
question:
I
think
that
I
don't
think
it
has
to
close
down
completely
I.
Think
that
probably
access
to
the
way
I'm
envisioning
it
is.
If
you
go
up
the
accessible
concrete
path,
then
the
trails
off
to
the
left
should
be
totally
fine.
We're
not
taking
up
the
parking
lot
area,
so
we're
gonna
stay
in
the
grass
area
and
one
of
the
reasons
that
we're
okay,
just
putting
everything
there
and
we're
gonna
kill.
F
Some
grass
is
because
we're
hoping
to
expand
the
parking
area
a
little
bit
because
parking
is
that
needed
at
sales,
Park
more
parking,
it
won't
it's
again:
it's
not
a
place
where
we,
we
don't
have
the
opportunity
to
have
a
lot
of
parking
there,
so
people
are
still
going
to
have
to
park
in
the
neighborhood
as
well.
Whenever
they
come
visit,
but
just
increasing
parking
there
I
think
it's
important,
but
but
yeah.
F
That's
a
good
question
as
you
go
up
the
hill,
that's
where
we
envision
after,
like
talking
with
the
the
muck
suckers
that
that's
where
their
kind
of
tube
is
going
to
come
down
the
hill.
So
you
wouldn't
necessarily
go
up
on
the
the
right
side.
B
F
And
I
think
that's
parcel
and
it's
it's
only
going
to
take
two
or
three
days
of
now
the
the
geotubes
are
going
to
be
there
for
a
little
bit
longer
to
let
the
water
drain,
but
the
actual
tube.
How
I
don't
even
know
how
big
it
is,
honestly
that
they
use
but
they're
gonna
scuba
dive,
I.
D
D
F
Scuba
gear
and-
and
it's
also
that's
I-
mean
there's
a
lot
to
the
muck
sucking,
but
that
it's
not
going
to
take
all
of
the
gunk
off
the
bottom.
You
don't
want
to
take
all
the
gunk
off
the
bottom
anyways
and
there's
no
way
to
know.
He
said
how
much
is
on
the
bottom,
and
so
what
he
kind
of
quoted
us
for
is
basically
I.
F
Think
it's
like
three
rounds
of
the
muck
sucking
which
he
thinks
for
that
acreage
would
get
like
a
few
feet
of
muck
off
the
bottom
and
you
could
always
do
it
again.
If
your
pond
isn't,
you
know,
bouncing
back
I,
don't
want
to
do
it
again.
So
has.
B
Someone
ever
approached
anyone
about
doing
I
mean
I
know
we
have
the
storybook
Trail,
but
like
actual
education
panels
there
of
what's
in
that
pond,
that's.
F
What
I
would
that's
so
our
kind
of
dream
and
something
that
we've
been
talking
about-
is
that
that
we
take
the
accessible
path
and
we
add
to
it
and
then
get
a
dock
out
into
the
pond,
so
that
people
can
go
out
onto
the
water
and
they're
being
different
educational.
You
know
signage,
and
so
it
kind
of
does
this
interpretive
space
for
people,
because
that's
something
that
we
would
like
to
do
in
in
a
lot
of
our
kind
of
net
more
natural
areas
where
you
know
it's
like
what
is
this?
F
F
Okay,
there's
so
much
going
on
all
right,
but
I'm
so
excited
because
it's
like
all
of
a
sudden
everything
is
happening
now
now
things
that
we
were
planning
and
been
talking
about
for
a
long
time.
So
it's
really
exciting
West
State,
Street
Park
I
still
need
to
get
additional
shade
on
the
shade
structures
in
some
areas
to
extend
the
amount
of
shade
the
length
of
time
that
there
is
shade
they're.
F
Just
the
fields
just
aren't
oriented
in
a
way
that
works
with
the
way
the
Earth
moves
and
the
sun
moves
through
the
sky.
So
we're
working
on
that
one
soccer
fields.
We
did
a
little
bit
more
dirt
work.
Some
drainage
work
is
still
needed
and
then
we're
gonna
seed.
F
So
the
soccer
fields
that
we've
been
working
on
at
West
State
Street
park,
so
the
adult
league
isn't
going
to
play
on
those
to
try
to
give
it
a
little
bit
more
time
as
we
continue
to
get
grass
established
there
and
we
need
to
get
signage
up
because
I
think
people
are
going
to
start
playing
pickup
soon,
just
to
kind
of
give.
Please
don't
come
in
in
these
certain
areas,
so
we
can
get
good
and
note
to
myself.
F
We
have
the
signage
they're
going
to
play
out
in
the
library
field
in
the
Simpson
Avenue
field.
Again
for
the
spring
and
probably
summer,
all
right,
I
already
touched
on
the
riparian
project,
we're
going
to
work
on
the
pollinator
habitat
all
right,
so
we
just
got
some
concrete
repair
done
in
the
front
of
the
community
center.
So
if
you've
been
there
in
the
past
couple
of
days,
it
was
just
a
little
construction
zone.
It's
really
exciting
to
set
concrete
was
just
really
is
broken
crumbling
uneven.
F
It
was
just
kind
of
more
of
a
safety
hazard
for
folks,
so
we
got
that
repaired,
which
is
nice
and
then
we're
on
the
schedule
for
2023
we're
in
the
asphalt
and
Paving
contract
with
the
city
to
get
an
overlay,
slash
repair
to
our
asphalt
kind
of
as
you
come
into
the
community
center
area
and
drive
through
it
won't
take
care
of
the
parking
area
by
the
where
the
Athens
convention
and
visitors
bureau
is
because
that's
concrete.
So,
but
that's
next
on
the
list,
because
that
one's
looking
pretty
pretty
rough
too.
F
But
you
know
one
thing
at
a
time,
so
we'll
get
we'll
get
our
asphalt
repaired
in
the
community
Center
area
this
year,
which
is
exciting.
The
community
center
roof
is
going
to
begin
April
24th.
So
that's
the
replacement
of
the
roof
and
adding
anchors
for
solar
panels
So.
Eventually
there
will
be
solar
panels
on
the
roof
as
well.
F
That's
a
part
of
the
solar
array
project
which
Andrew
chickie
is
is
heading
up,
but
it
does
impact
some
of
my
facilities,
so
we're
also
going
to
get
solar
panels
installed
at
the
pool
and
that's
supposed
to
happen
soon.
The
solar
panels
probably
won't
be
hooked
up
and
working
by
the
time
that
the
pool
opens,
but
there
we've
you
know,
asked
them
to
install
them
before
we
start
operating
because
they're
going
to
be
right
in
the
front.
F
So
if
you
envision
the
splash
pad
we're
going
to
have
solar
panel
structure
right
there
and
then
off
the
top
pool
side
too.
So
on
the
you
know,
in
between
the
parking
lot
and
the
gate,
sidewalk
really
and
the
gate-
and
it
will
grass
areas
we're
gonna
put
the
solar
panel
is
there.
So
that's
going
to
go
soon.
F
We're
gonna
bid
the
new
West
State
Street
restroom
facilities.
Again
I
am
still
trying
to
get
confirmation
and
nail
down
on
what
it.
If
we
can
with
the
design,
we
have
get
adult
changing
tables
in
there
and
be
compliant,
and
so.
F
Single
user
or
family,
so
it's
for
the
way
that
they're
designed
right
now
is
that
it's
four
Universal
restrooms,
because
my
idea
was
that
families
are
really
heavy
users
there
and
sometimes,
if
you
have
little
kids,
I
personally
and
I
know
other
parents
don't
like
to
split
up
the
kids,
and
so
that
way
we
can
all
go
into
the
bathroom
all
together
and
use
the
restroom
together
or
for
people
who
have
bikes,
because
bikers
a
lot
oftentimes
use
that
they
don't
have
to
leave
their
bike
outside
of
the
restroom
and
worry
about
it
getting
stolen.
D
But
so
with
each
single
user
have
a
changing.
Yes,.
F
Yeah
originally,
it
was
designed
with
baby
changing
tables
and
then
Davey
from
the
disabilities
commission
reached
out
and
said
hey
what
about
adult
changing
tables,
and
so
it
was.
F
Yeah,
let's
try
to
figure
this
out,
and
so
we've
been
trying
to
figure
it
out,
because,
because
I
think
that
there,
that
is
really
important
to
have
public
restrooms
that
really
truly
do
serve
everyone.
You
know
as
much
as
possible
yeah
as.
D
Another
suggestion
and
not
yeah,
these
restrooms
need
to
get
any
bigger,
but
they
also
for
parents
who
have
multiple
little
kids
and
take
them
all
in.
C
D
D
Your
children
are
trying
to
open
the
door
on
you,
you
can,
but
again,
that
might
be
sort
of
outside
the
scope
of
how
big
is
a
single
restroom
can
be,
but
and.
F
No
I
mean
the
restrooms
right
now
are
big,
because
of
because
that
we
have
urinals
in
them
and
toilets
in
it's
a
chair
yeah.
As
long
as
it
doesn't
mess
with
the
60
inches
then
that's
needed,
then
that's
not
a
problem.
That's
a
simple,
because
yeah,
the
one
in
Kroger
yeah.
G
F
Exactly
what
you're
talking
about
so
yeah?
Yes,
good!
Thank
you!
That's
good!
That's
good
input
so
we'll
see,
but
that
one's
we're
we're
I'm,
that's
literally,
all
I'm
waiting
on
is
trying
to
figure
out
to
make
sure
that
our
design,
Works
okay.
So
then
tennis
and
pickleball
courts,
I
I,
mentioned
this
last
time.
F
I
think
that
we've
got
McKee,
Paving,
they're,
gonna
repair,
the
asphalt
for
pickleball
courts
and
I'm
I've
talked
to
Zach,
with
total
tennis
about
coding
the
asphalt
once
it's
complete
and
I
haven't
scheduled
it
because
I'm
waiting
to
get
a
little
bit
more
timeline
Clarity
on
the
tennis
courts,
because
you
know
that
would
make
more
sense
to
have
them
come
down
and
do
it
all
at
once.
But
that
might
not
work
it's.
F
You
know
Ideal
World,
so
I'm,
just
getting
a
little
bit
more
clarification
before
I,
say:
hey
put
us
on
the
schedule,
so
I
might
just
end
up
having
to
say:
hey
put
us
on
the
schedule
for
pickleball
and
we'll
figure
out
tennis
some
other
time,
depending
on
how
long
it
takes.
And
then
we
did.
We
did
just
get
demo
some
demolition
in
the
new
tennis
court
area,
so
it
took
out
to
try
to
get
it
to
there
was.
There
was
just
some
structures
there
so
demolished
that
it's
already
gone.
F
So
now
we
are
getting
I
think
tomorrow,
someone's
going
to
come
out
and
give
us
a
quote
on
the
earthwork,
that's
needed
so
the
grading
and
moving
the
soil,
because
some
in
some
areas
need
to
raise
a
little
bit
filled
in
and
so
we're
gonna
see.
I,
don't
even
know
how
much
that's
gonna
cost
and
if
that's,
if
we'll
end
up
having
to
bid
it
out,
but
we're
getting
our
quotes
to
to
see.
You
know
what
that
next
step
is
so
that's
kind
of
where
I
am
with
those
I
haven't
bowled
an
underlined.
F
They
might
not
I,
know
I,
know
at
what
point
I
can't
say
when
they're
going
to
be
offline,
but
at
some
point
they
will
be,
and
so
we
need
to
figure
out
what
we're
gonna
do
with
them,
or
what
we're
gonna
do
with
that
space.
Even
you
know
it
doesn't
have
to
be
the
tennis
courts.
Daniel.
J
Yes,
in
regards
to
that,
last
night
after
there
was
a
meeting
downstairs
second
floor,
the
only
way
the
parking
lot,
Chris,
Spiel,
County
Commissioner,
caught
up
to
me,
and
he
asked
what's
going
to
happen,
he's
involved
with
the
farmer's
market.
He
said
he's
on
the
board
there,
what's
going
to
happen
with
the
the
old
tennis,
courts
and
I
said
well,
that's
interesting,
because
it's
on
tomorrow's
agenda
for
the
APR
board
and
I
said
well.
J
What
are
you
thinking
and
he
said
to
me:
well,
you
know
when
we
moved
from
the
parking
lot
are
down
at
the
mall
to
this
location.
J
One
of
the
things
was
talked
about
was
expanding
the
farmer's
market
back
toward
the
river
to
make
him
more
of
a
community
space
and
so
on,
and
so
forth
and
I
said
yeah
I,
remember,
hearing
that
conversation
and
he
said
well.
If,
if
your
committee
is
going
to
talk
about
this
tomorrow,
I
said
well,
I
really
doubt
that
this
I
think
it's
going
to
be
an
introductory
thing.
J
Well,
when
that
point
comes
around
he
and
one
or
more
members
of
the
farmers
market
board
would
like
to
come
to
this
meeting
when
you
do
discuss
that
to
provide
input.
So,
as
you
plan
this,
you
know
down
the
road.
An
invitation
to
that
group
would
be
much
appreciated.
Yeah.
F
I'm
glad
you
brought
that
up
because
I've
been
speaking
with
them,
we
had
a
thing
in
February
and
about
what
you
know
the
future
of
the
Farmers
Market.
What
and
what
was
that?
What
does
that
relationship?
Look
like
with
the
city
and
they've
had
plans
in
the
past
even
like
drawn
up
of
what
that
space
could
look
like
and
Leslie
Schaller,
just
we
I
couldn't
find
it.
I
knew
I'd
seen
it
in
my
early
days
as
being
a
director,
but
Leslie
Schaller
sent
it
and
she's
with.
Thank
you.
F
F
What,
and
that
was
even
after
Community
I
mean
you
were
around
during
that
that
time
in
the
2000
teens
of
different
public
input
so,
like
you
might
have
you
all
might
recall.
Seeing
some
of
that,
and
you
know,
a
plan
was
put
together
and
yeah.
J
Is
it?
Is
it
Larry,
I
think
recently
yeah
the
last
I
saw
Larry
was
the
president
it's
on
there
their
website,
but
Chrissy
is
now
on
the
board.
Oh.
J
H
All
right
excuse,
my
ignorance
is:
does
the
farmer's
market
pay
to
rent
the
space
from
the
city
yeah
yeah
great?
Thank
you
for
clarifying
yeah.
F
And
so
you
know
if,
if
there
were
to
be
changes
to
infrastructure,
for
instance,
that's
something
that
we
would
as
a
city
have
to
kind
of
figure
out
what
the
farmer's
market.
And
that
would
because
that
changes,
the
relationship,
basically
yeah.
And
so
that
would
involve
city
council
as
well.
So.
B
E
F
So
yeah,
that's
the
fun
thing
that
we
can
kind
of
about
and
try
to
try
to
think
through
once
once
they're
offline
and
I.
Don't
really
have
any
updates
with
the
ALCO
canoe
put
in
and
I've
just
after
thinking
of
cells,
Park
and
the
trails
and
back
to
Camp
Rotan
and
the
Trails
I
don't
have
any
quotes
or
anything
like
that
other
than
areas
that
I
want
to
focus
on.
F
So
at
sells
Park
as
you
go
to
the
right,
basically,
all
of
the
million
trails
and
cut
throughs
and
erosion,
and
it's
really
bad
for
that
Hillside
to
get
up
to
the
actual
Trails,
I,
really
Envision,
being
able
to
have
like
a
designated
Trail
and
block
off
all
the
other
ones
and
try
to
rebuild
repair
hot.
The
the
erosion
that's
happening
because
it's
really
hard
on
the
trees
as
well
as
you
know,
everything
over
there
and
then
at
Camp
Rotan.
F
B
F
No
really
what
I
think
the
restrictions
are.
Is
you
know
what
is
possible
with
say,
volunteer
groups
versus
people
who
have
specific
skills?
You
know
that
are
trained
and
that
have
the
right
equipment
and
whatnot
so
I
think
there's
a
nice
I
mean
I,
think
there's
opportunities
for
for
volunteer
group
Scouts
to
be
involved.
Anyone
who
wants
to
do
a
project,
but
then
there's
also
areas
that
are
like
this
is
not
and
it
doesn't
have
to
be
our
facilities.
Folks,.
C
F
F
And
rebar
and
fix
it
working
on
that
drainage
that
we've
talked
about
at
that
bridge
and
the
stairs
go
up.
So
some
of
it
is
takes
a
little
bit,
I
mean
I,
think
I
can
see
and
what
I,
what
what
we
know
like
needs
to
happen.
But
I,
don't
you
know,
possess
those
skills
or
nor
do
I
expect,
though
some
volunteers
are
very
well
equipped
to
be
able
to
do
that,
so
it
just
kind
of
depends,
but
no
I'm
not
really
restricted
from
that
end,
I'm
restricted,
financially,
obviously,
but
legally
financially.
F
As
far
as
you
know,
if
it
goes
beyond
49
999
dollars
and
hits
that
fifty
thousand
dollar
Mark,
then
I
have
to
bid
it
out,
but
you
know
other
than
that
we
kind
of
figure
out
what
we
can
take
care
of
In-House
and
what
we
have
to
contract
out
or
opportunities
for
people
to
be
involved.
D
F
Yes,
I
skimmed
over
that
I
can't
believe
it
Daniel
and
I
met
with
one
of
the
OU
students.
It's
for
a
class
and
I
I
can't
remember
the
class
off
the
top
of
my
head,
but
they're
working
in
social
studies
like
they're,
pursuing
a
social
studies
degree
and
and
for
one
of
their
classes.
F
They
are
working
with
the
Athens,
High
School
and
planning
a
service
day
and
so
March
31st
is
that
service
day
and
the
way
I
don't
really
know
exactly
how
they've
divided
it
up
other
than
the
people
in
the
university
class
there.
It
sounds
like
they're
all
in
pairs
and
then
that
they
get
10
to
15
high
school
students
to
do
and
be
involved
in
a
service
project
that
they,
the
university,
has
found.
Community
Partners
to
work
with,
and
so
Jara
and
Braden
had
reached
out
to
me.
F
I,
don't
know
maybe
a
month
ago,
and
then
we've
met
and
I
I
told
him
two
options
of
riparian
area:
camp
Roseanne.
And
so
then,
once
we
talked
a
little
bit,
they
said
okay.
Well,
let's
do
camper
tan
So,
Daniel
and
I
met
Jared
out
at
Camp
Rotan
last
week
and
we
went
to
the
camp
so
there's
three
established
tent
sites.
Basically
that
are
wood
platforms,
and
so
we,
what
we're
gonna
do
that
day
is
get
clean
up.
F
F
And
so
cut
that
back
kind
of
re,
because
what
happens
is
those
Trails
up
there?
They
get
so
overgrown
with
some
of
those
invasives,
so
we're
trying
to
cut
them
back
before
they
start
growing,
so
much
and
kind
of
reestablish
the
trails
up
there
in
that
main
area.
F
We
think
that
you
know
we
had
some
other
ideas
too,
but
we're
pretty
sure
that
probably
will
take
the
majority
of
time,
especially
as
you
walk
out
there
Daniel's
not
going
to
let
us
walk
out
there
without
cutting
back
some
of
the
invasives
along
the
way,
and
so
so
and
their
their
service
day
is
from
9am
to
2
p.m,
and-
and
so
that's
what
we'll
be
doing
so
if
any
of
y'all
want
to
be
involved.
F
If
you
have
availability
they're
in
there
you're
more
than
welcome
to
come
to
come
out
that
day,
but
they'll
have
a
meeting.
University
students
will
have
their
meeting
with
their
group
Next
Friday
to
go
over
what
they're
going
to
do
and
then
we'll
I'll
meet
him
out
there
with
all
of
our
stuff
and
we'll
just
get
to
it.
Hopefully,
it's
nice
weather.
C
A
F
B
If
we're
to
the
announcement
portion
I
think
now
that
we
have
a
full
board
and
hearing
from
Catherine
Anne
and
seeing
some
of
Patty's
emails
and
stuff
I
think
firming
up
that,
is
it
the
role
of
The
Advisory
board
that
when
that
the
agenda
gets
sent,
it
is
sent
from
you
to
all
of
us
or
from
me
to
all
of
us
and
then
patty
just
posts
it
I,
don't
I,
don't
think
it's
necessarily
Patty's
job
to
do
that,
so
making
sure
that
we're
being
you
know,
we
recognize
if
we're,
if,
if
we're
supposed
to
be
doing
something
and
put
it
in
place
between
us,
so
that
we
know
what
we
need
to
do
and
when
we
need
to
do
it
and
then
the
other
thing
I
would
ask
just
noticing
tonight
like
we
didn't,
have
a
lot
of
business
on
the
front
end,
and
this
is
Catherine
Ann
I
love
your
all
of
your
reports,
but
several
of
these.
B
Some
of
these
items
are
a
lot
of
recap
from
the
past
two
months
and
I.
Think
if,
if
they're
in
print,
but
we
focus
on
all
the
new
stuff,
then
we'd
have
a
lot
more
time
to
talk
about
like
Camp
Rotan
and
sells
Park
and
those
things
when,
like
we've
been
talking
about.
You
know
the
filling
the
pool
and
and
all
the
trainings
that
are
coming
up.
We've
talked
about
the
last
two
meetings,
then
that
gives
us
much
more
room
for
our
discussion
without
going
late
into
the
evening.
B
E
G
B
Story
happens,
yeah,
like
I,
think
it's
great
to
have
it
all
here
but
like
for
our
for
our
discussion,
if
we
highlight
the
big,
the
big
new
stuff,
then
we
have
a
lot
more
time
to
talk
about
it.
So
Catherine
can
you
help
clarify
so
typically
the
other
boards
and
commissions
does?
Is
it
the
secretary
who
does
that?
How
do
how
does
that
typically
work
on
other
groups,
so
we
can
mimic
that,
since
it's
really
not
listed
out
in
our
charge
or
anything
like
that,.
F
A
B
A
J
Everything
yeah,
that's
just
how
yeah,
if
Andrew
Jackson,
but
for
the
two
years
that
I
was
chair
of
this
body
under
a
previous
administration,
I
didn't
get
to
work
with
Catherine
Ann,
officially
for
what
two
or
three
months
and
then
I
had
to
resign
when
I
went
on
Council,
but
what
I
would
do
and
again
this
is
just
as
an
example.
What
I
would
do
is
the
week
before
the
meeting
so
last
week.
J
I
would
send
an
email
on
Wednesday
to
be
seven
members
of
the
board
asking
for
agenda
items
for
the
next
meeting.
Those
agenda
items
were
due
to
me
by
Friday
in
a
couple
days.
Obviously
you're
thinking
about
it
all
month,
but
a
couple
days
and
the
reason
behind
that
was,
it
was
timely
because
things
come
up
in
a
two-week
period,
then
what
I
would
do
is
I
would
meet
with
the
previous
director
on
Monday.
Initially
we
did
it
via
Zoom
because
of
covid,
but
then
once
we
didn't
have
to
deal
with
code.
J
Well,
we're
still
deal
with
it
once
it
was
safe
enough
to
sit
down.
She
and
I
would
sit
down,
and
obviously
the
director
has
some
agenda
items
that
that
she
needs
to
discuss
and
we
would
take
those
two
agendas
and
meld
them
together
and
by
the
end
of
the
day
on
Monday,
we
had
the
agenda
for
the
meeting.
I
would
then
email
it
to
Patty
simply
to
post
to
the
website,
because
by
law
the
agenda
has
to
be
posted
X
number
of
hours
in
advance
of
the
meeting.
J
J
We
match
that
with
and
folded
in
the
departmental
priorities
and
agendas
jet
items,
so
we
had
a
silent
agenda
and
everybody
had
it
a
full
48
hours
in
advance.
So.
C
J
2001,
it
involved
the
board
helping
to
do
the
agenda
and
it
took
into
account
the
priorities
and
agenda
items
of
the
department
and
that
seemed
to
work
real.
Well.
So
I
just
thought
that
as
an
example
of
how
we
did
it
for
a
couple
years
and
then,
when
I
got
elected
to
the
city
council,
I
had
to
resign.
If
you
can't
wear
both
hats.
B
Right
so
so,
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
we
clarify
it
here,
whoever's
role.
It
is
here
so
that
we're
not
relying
on
Patty
to
keep
tabs
on
us.
That's
not
her
role
to
do
so,
which
she
has
been
doing
for
since
I've
been
here
and
for
a
while.
So
that's
why
I
wanted
to
make
sure
that
we
kind
of
as
we're
performing
the
bot
getting
the
bylaws
in
line
and
all
of
that
stuff
that
we're
functioning
the
way
we
should
be.
J
It
also
does
is
I
I
think
it
builds
a
bond
between
the
the
chair
of
the
committee
and
the
director
of
the
part.
I
mean
you've
got
to
have
that
working
relationship.
You've
got
to
have
that
I
mean
you
may
have
some
differences
opinions
on
things,
but
you
still
got
to
have
that
working
relationship
and-
and
that
worked
real
well
for
those
well
18
months,
that
we
did
that.
B
And-
and
it's
no,
you
know
it's,
no,
you
know
smack
on
the
wrist
to
anyone
like
it's
it.
Truly,
it's
not
listed
anymore,
like
it
says,
here's
the
charge
of
the
board,
but
it
doesn't
say
this
is
your
job.
This
is
your
job,
there's
no
kind
of
guidebook.
For
any
of
of
these
things,
we
just
kind
of
hear
in
the
hallways
that
oh
well,
this
functions
this
way
and
this
person
does
this
so
just
for
us
to
have
some
awareness
of.
