B
A
Know
what,
though,
with
the
wind
advisory
that
she
just
gave
I,
don't
know
about
anybody
else,
but
driving
in
or
driving
around
the
city.
Earlier
today,
I
know
on
the
south
side,
it's
trash
collection
and
there
were
trash
bins
that
were
had
blown
into
the
street
they're
all
over
the
place.
So
be
careful
with
that
too.
A
Arizona
for
five
days
well,
knowing
what
a
great
job
you've
been
doing
with
working
for
the
city
and
being
my
weather
reporter
and
wanting
you
to
represent
well
when
you're
in
Arizona
I
want
to
give
you
the
city
pin.
So
please
wear
that
proudly
when
you're
in
Arizona,
representing
Athens,
when
you're
away
and
again
it's
fir'd
for
you
being
such
a
great
weather
reporter
here
in
the
city,
love
having
you
on
the
show
too,
so
lots
of
things
going
on
in
the
city.
I
wanted
to
start
with.
A
Speaking
of
trash,
we've
got
a
holiday
tomorrow
and
Ryan.
If
you
want
to
kick
up
the
well
yeah
we'll
start
here,
there's
gonna
be
a
one-day
trash
delay,
as
is
typical
when
we
have
holidays
so
trash
collection
for
tomorrow.
If
that's,
what
your
schedule
is
will
be
on
Friday
instead,
so
just
be
mindful
of
that,
don't
stick
your
trash
can
out,
because
it's
gonna
sit
there
for
24
hours
and
that
wouldn't
be
a
good
thing,
so
trash
delay.
The
other
thing
is
that
we
have
there.
A
You
go
leave
pick
up
just
as
a
reminder
that
the
vac
truck
will
be
going
around
or
the
leaver
truck.
That's
gonna
go
around
and
start
sucking
up
leaves
that
you
put
out
this
week
and
I
can't
my
eyes.
Aren't
that
good
to
see
what
it
is,
but
it's
basically,
the
west
side
of
the
city
will
be
collection.
That's
starting
tomorrow.
Is
it
Ryan
and
then
running
through
next
into
next
week?
A
We
pick
up
on
the
south
side
of
the
city
now
and
then
it'll
continue
on
will
be
going
doing
this
for
quite
some
time
because
leaves
are
falling.
Some
other
things
going
on
around
the
city
engineer
and
public
works
related
Greenbrier
Drive,
there's
a
gas
line
replacement,
that's
going
on
up
on
Greenbrier,
which
is
kind
of
up
by
the
O
you
in
in
that
area
that
will
start
Monday,
December
2nd.
The
work
will
be
it'll.
Take
about
two
to
three
weeks
for
that
to
be
completed.
A
One
lane
of
traffic
will
be
maintained
and
flaggers
will
be
in
the
area
for
that
Athens,
Community,
Center
activities.
First
and
second-grade,
instructional
basketball
league,
that's
gonna,
be
starting
soon.
The
league
will
run
January
15th
through
February
12th
games
are
played
on
Wednesdays
either
at
5:30
or
6:30
registration
is
$35
per
child.
So,
if
you're
interested
in
getting
your
child
involved
in
that
please
reach
out
to
the
community
center,
you
can
either
call
five
nine
two
three
three
two
five
or
you
can
reach
out
to
Aaron
Helms.
A
She
runs
that
program
at
EE
Helms
that
would
be
e
H
E,
LM
s,
@
CI,
Athens,
dot,
o
H
dot.
U
s
for
registering
that
registration
will
begin
well.
It
has
already
begun
the
November
25th
and
it'll
run
through
January
5th
for
registration.
So
please
partake
in
that.
If
you're
interested
holiday,
closure
of
child
watch
and
the
Wii
wigglers
program
at
the
community
center
that
will
be
closed,
Friday
the
29th
and
as
well
Friday
December
27th.
So
we
have
a
couple
closures
there.
A
Child
watch
will
be
cancelled
on
the
following
dates:
November
27th,
November,
28th
and
November
29th,
and
then
in
December,
the
24th,
25th,
26th
and
also
January
1st.
So
if
you
use
that
program
just
be
aware
that
those
are
closures
to
anticipate
arts,
West
is
also
going
to
be
closed,
that
27th
and
28th
for
the
Thanksgiving
holiday.
So
keep
that
in
mind.
Friday
December,
6th
from
5
to
7
p.m.
are
opening
with
a
solo
show
with
Jessica
Ashley,
so
the
Arts
West
always
puts
on
great
art
shows
so
keep
that
in
mind.
A
Saturday
December,
20
s,
our
December
7th
at
7:30
p.m.
stars,
astronomy
and
travel
beyond.
It's
a
concert
tour
so
that
will
be
taking
place,
suggested
donation
for
that
is
$10
again.
That's
gonna
be
$15
per
family
that
is
December
7th,
7:30,
Sunday,
December,
8th
from
4
or
2
to
4
p.m.
is
the
Kraft
holiday
craft
swap
so
come
down
and
check
that
out
as
well.
There
is
going
to
be
Uptown
for
the
holidays,
tree
lighting
and
the
opening
event
will
be
December
5th
from
6
to
8
p.m.
that's,
always
a
treat
come
see.
A
Santa
I
think
Santa's
gonna
be
coming
in
on
John
Hutchinson's
wagon
again
this
year,
as
opposed
to
one
of
the
fire
trucks,
but
I,
don't
know,
maybe
it'll
be
on
a
fire
truck,
but
Santa
will
be
here,
that'll
be
coming
in
and
we'll
be
down
at
5
on
court
as
well,
which
is
typically
where
Santa
is
so.
You
bring.
Your
kids,
have
kids
meet
with
Santa
and
tell
Santa
what
they
want
for
Christmas,
but
only
if
they've
been
good
this
year,
parking
will
be
free
in
the
Uptown
area
as
well.
A
Something
else
I
want
to
share
with
everybody
deputy
service
safety
director
now
HR,
director,
Ron
Lucas,
went
and
brought
me
this.
This
is
really
pretty
awesome.
You
know
it's
not
every
day
that
we
see
an
athens
local
on
the
front
page
of
Sports
Illustrated,
Joe
burrows,
you
know
we're
all
pulling
for
Jill,
burrows
and
I'm
sure
that
Joe
burrows
is
doing
better
things
and
watching
this
program
right
now.
A
However,
we're
all
very
supportive
of
Joe
burrows
and
hoping
that
he
becomes
fingers
crossed
knock
on
wood,
that
he
becomes
a
Heisman
Trophy
Award
winner
Joe
is
just
on
fire.
Doing
great
things
so,
like
I,
said,
we're
really
pulling
for
Joe.
I
have
some
special
guests
here
today,
going
into
a
holiday
season,
so
I'm
gonna
have
my
wife
Connie
and
our
two
daughters,
a
Delia
and
Alana,
come
up
here
with
me
because,
like
I
said,
we
have
a
special
message.
A
I
also
have
my
sister
and
brother-in-law,
who
are
in
the
audience
today
so
visiting
from
Portland
Oregon.
So
it's
great
having
them
here
for
Thanksgiving.
But
if
you
guys
yeah,
can
we
pile
around
there?
We
go
so
from
the
first
family
of
Athens
to
all
of
you.
We
want
to
wish
you
happy
if
they
Thanksgiving,
thanks
for
tuning
in
please
join
us
next
week
for
the
next
installment
of
the
mayor's
weekly
press
conference.
Kyle
have
a
safe
trip.
