A
A
The
boil
order
will
be
in
place
until
tomorrow
at
1pm
there
again
it's
a
water
line
break
the
affected
area
will
be
utah
place.
Strathmore.
Graham
dr
charles
street
euclid
drive
Avon
place
grand
park,
obviously
eden
park,
townsend
park,
our
towns
in
place,
jacobs,
drive
in
dalton,
avenue,
hillcrest
and
pleasant
view
drive
as
well.
So
a
number
of
a
rather
large
affected
area
with
the
water
line
break
that
columbus
road
bike
paths.
/
construction
is
still
underway.
A
The
Franklin
Avenue
infrastructure
improvement
project
still
work
completion,
work
going
on
on
Franklin
Avenue
as
well
more
to
come,
but
there
will
be
in
October
a
ribbon-cutting
ceremony
for
the
richland
avenue,
sidewalk
and
street
light
improvements,
just
south
of
the
Oxbow
bridge,
going
down
towards
the
convo
more
to
come
on
that
ribbon.
Cutting
ceremony,
it's
a
good
thing,
but
again
that's
in
the
future
tonight
is
the
Commission
on
disabilities.
A
Their
monthly
meeting
is
taking
place
of
note
with
that
it'll
be
at
five
thirty
in
the
community
center
it
they
have
a
speaker
coming
tonight,
Donald
be
eager
on
the
discussion
on
the
state
and
federal,
fair
housing
regulations
as
they
relate
to
disabilities
and
how
to
assist
residents
who
have
trouble
with
reasonable
accommodations
service,
animals
and
housing.
So
that
is
open
to
anyone
wanting
to
come.
There
is
a
follow-on
presentation
by
Donald
eager,
which
is
at
seven
pm,
seven
to
eight
pm.
A
This
is
in
the
Athens
public
library,
again
open
to
the
public,
for
anyone
wanting
to
come,
I
think
well
worth
while
attending
that.
For
anyone
who
can
the
there
will
be
another
ribbon
cutting
ceremony,
this
one's
going
to
be
at
sells
park.
This
is
tomorrow
at
eleven
pm
tomorrow,
Thursday
September
22nd-
and
this
is
the
ribbon-cutting
ceremony
for
the
ad,
a
accessible
trail
up
to
the
pond
above
the
dam,
their
cells
park.
Again
everyone's
encouraged
to
come
to
that
and
see
the
new
addition
up
there
at
cells
park.
A
This
is
this.
The
month
of
sep
tember
is
childhood
cancer
awareness
month
the
cupola
has
been
lit
up
gold
gold
as
the
the
color
for
the
childhood
awareness
childhood
cancer
awareness
again,
gold
gold
go
gold
theme
has
been
going
on
around
the
city,
there's
an
image
of
the
city,
cupola
big
thanks
to
the
government
channel.
A
For
making
that
happen,
you
guys
are
the
masters
of
keeping
them
lit
whatever
color
we
need
to
so
a
big
thank
you
for
that,
but
again
our
support
of
raising
awareness
for
childhood
cancer
and
treatment
for
those
with
cancer
associated
with
that
the
athens
high
school
football
team
is
playing
Vinton
County
this
friday
evening,
I
think
game
time
is
7
p.m.
somewhere
near
that
is
kickoff,
but
the
game.
It's
it's
homecoming
for
Athens
high
school,
but
it's
also
there'll
be
some.
A
A
There
is
an
award
ceremony
going
on
for
recognizing
individuals
in
their
work
in
childhood
cancer
and
raising
the
awareness
of
that.
Another
thing:
that's
coming
up
quickly
october,
7th
at
from
ten
a.m.
to
2pm,
is
the
athens
area
stand
down.
This
is
to
raise
awareness
of
homelessness
in
the
in
athens
in
athens
county.
A
There
is
also
donation
boxes
that
are
located
throughout
the
city
and
in
particular,
here
in
the
city,
building
at
the
entrance
to
the
city
building
just
inside
the
glass
doors.
There's
a
drop-off
boxers,
also
one
at
the
community
center.
The
donation
requests
are
being
made
for
things
such
as
hygiene
items,
diapers,
non-perishable,
food
clothing,
coats,
hats
and
gloves
shoes
and
boots
sleeping
bags,
sunscreen
wet
wipes,
backpacks
paper
products
and
things
of
that
nature.
A
Playground,
equipment,
kind
of
rethinking
the
playground
equipment
it's
much
needed
to
playground
equipment.
That's
up
there
right
now
is
probably
some
of
the
oldest
equipment
in
the
city,
so
this
kaboom
grant
will
be
great
for
getting
new
equipment.
But
again,
this
is
an
opportunity
for
individuals,
who'll
be
using
that
playground,
equipment
kind
of
way
in
and
just
help
decide
what
the
equipment
again,
the
color
schemes
of
it,
as
well
as
several
of
the
playground
features
that
are
under
the
kaboom
grant.
So
I
encourage
you
to
do
this.
A
You
could
also
go
to
ww
surveymonkey
com,
/,
r,
/
t
qn
g
TTYL,
and
but
I
believe
that
survey
monkey
is
also
on
arts
parks
and
recs
link
on
the
city's
website.
That's
what
I
have
for
today
in
terms
of
items
and
I've
got
an
individual
from
the
press
here.
If
you
want
to
remind
people
who
you
are
and
what
but
paper
you
work
for,
and
fire
away
with
questions
all.
B
A
Know
the
city
in
terms
of
responding
to
it,
you
know
it's
that
that's
a
legitimate
place
for
individuals
to
raise
awareness
of
whatever
type
in
front
of
the
County
Courthouse.
You
know
it's
County
property
and
we
haven't
responded
to
it
in
any
way,
shape
or
form,
rather
than
to
acknowledge
the
fact
that
it's
going
on,
which
you
know
it's
fine,
I
mean
I
I've
seen
it.
I
walked
past
it
today
and
you
know,
there's
often
various
protests
or
heightened
awareness
that
takes
place
on
the
county
courthouse
steps.
I
think
it's
appropriate
all.
B
A
We
end
up
sending
our
tag
team
out
to
remove
you
know
any
graffiti
walls.
You
know
anything
that
again,
if
it's
city
property,
we
remove
it,
we
often
work
with
private
businesses.
You
know,
if
requested,
you
know,
we
can
certainly
assist,
but
you
know,
tagging
and
graffiti
on
private
property
and
city
property
is
not
only
wrong.
It's
against
the
law
to
sit
there
and
deface
government
structures,
building
the
city,
buildings
and
whatnot.
So.
B
Story
is
or
this
next
question
is
from
a
reporter
and
it's
a
bit
longer
subscribed
a
bit
of
context.
I'll
read
it
during
a
meeting
between
a
few
members
of
City,
Council
and
members
of
the
oh,
you
administration,
there
was
talk
of
establishing
a
task
force
to
help
draw
more
residents
to
Athens.
They
spoke
about
how,
though
Athens
has
walked
a
walkable,
lively
community,
the
number
of
bars
and
the
party
school
reputation
of.
Oh,
you
have
potential
to
drive
future
residents
away.
B
A
Know
that
there
is
a
task
force,
that's
been
looking
at
affordable
housing
in
the
city
of
Athens.
You
know
Athens,
it's
interesting
to
share
with
you,
the
city
of
Athens,
for
all
of
its
housing
stock,
that
we
have
about
seventy
three
percent:
seventy
two
percent
of
that
housing
stock,
our
rental
units,
and
with
that,
when
individuals
do
come,
this
could
be,
and
you
know
this
is
no
new
news.
A
You
know
I
was
faculty
at
Ohio
University
for
18
years,
and
even
during
that
time,
when
we
would
have
potential
candidates
for
new
hires
faculty
wise
as
well
as
you
know,
upper
administration
that
we
would
always
you
know,
do
the
tour
city
tour
to
look
at
housing.
You
know
when
you're
trying
to
entertain
someone
to
if
an
offer
being
made,
trying
to
entertain
them
to
come
to
owe
you
or
to
the
city
of
Athens,
and
it
was
sometimes
not
that
it
was
difficult
to
do.
A
It
was
obvious
that
there's
you
know
not
a
whole
lot
of
housing
available.
You
know
when
it
comes
to
a
new
port.
You
know
young
professional
coming
into
the
city
of
Athens
and
looking
for
a
place
to
live,
so
this
task
force
is
looking
at
that
and
it's
not
just
oh
you.
It
can
be
new
businesses
that
are
coming
into
the
city
of
Athens
or
potential
businesses
that
want
to
move
to
Athens.
A
You
know
if
you're
going
to
be
creating,
you
know:
10
20,
30
40,
whatever
number
of
jobs
for
your
new
company
or
your
business,
that
you're
bringing
in
one
of
the
things.
Any
you
know
business
leader
is
going
to
do,
is
look
to
see.
Okay.
Well,
if
we're
going
to
we're
gonna
set
up
shop
here.
What
is
the
housing
stock?
Look
like
in
this
particular
city?
A
So
that
all
said,
the
task
force
has
been
looking
at
that
there
is
a
task
force
with
City
Council
members
on
it,
as
well
as
some
community
members,
I
believe,
but
also
our
business
leaders
in
the
city,
but
also
ohio
university
staff.
That's
on
this
committee
and
they've
they're,
soon
to
come
out
with
a
report
on
what
their
findings
were
so
I'll
sit
and
wait
for
that
report
to
come
out
and
see.
