Arbor Day Celebration 2022

Arts, Parks, and Recreation celebrates 20 years with the City of Athens by hosting a series of free outdoor concerts at different parks. The finale was held at West State Street park on July 21st, 2022. Make sure to follow Athens City social media pages to stay up to date with this series that will continue into next spring and summer!

The Athens Community Center is now offering a 30 day membership package for $30. TGC talked to Andrew Chiki, the assistant director of the community center, for more information.

Athens Bicycle and Ohio Health O'Bleness Hospital came together to present the annual Athens Bike Rodeo. Kids spent the morning riding a course, learning safety tips, and receiving free helmets to keep them safe this summer. The event highlighted the importance of always wearing a helmet when riding a bike.
