Description
City of Austin, Minnesota
A
Thanks
for
joining
us
in
this
edition,
the
council
recap:
council
met
Monday,
August,
5th
5:30
in
the
council
chambers,
a
really
short
council
meeting
most
of
the
business
was
handled
in
the
work
session
dealing
with
the
budget,
but
in
this
instance
a
fairly
short
council
meeting.
First
item
of
business
was
receiving
bits
for
the
Riverside
arena
boiler
replacement
project.
We
had
an
old
boiler,
they're,
replacing
them
with
two
new
boilers.
Two
bidders
on
that
project
L&M
was
a
little
bitter
at
157,000
460.
With
alternates,
we
had
a
$50,000
local
grant.
A
A
We
needed
up
update
our
policy
to
recognize
that
which
took
effect,
August
1st
and
then
the
last
items
of
business
for
several
removal
of
jumper
illegally
stored
vehicles
at
several
properties
across
town
council,
continues
to
take
action
to
address
those
nuisance
issues.
If
you
see
something
in
your
neighborhood,
some
junk
or
vehicles
on
the
front
lawn
or
not
license
with
current
tabs,
give
us
a
call
at
the
Planning
and
Zoning
Department
we'll
be
happy
to
help
out
and
address
those
issues.
Otherwise
that
concluded
the
council
meeting.
