Opposed
motion
carries
number
two
approving
minutes
from
january
4th
2021
and
removed
second,
second,
all
in
favor,
aye
aye
aye
opposed
motion
approved
recognition
under
an
awards.
I
don't
think
we
have
any
nothing
there
mate.
Looking
for
item
number
four,
a
motion
to
for
the
consent
agenda.
A
C
C
C
C
C
The
development
agreement
talks
about
that
maura
county
austin
utilities
and
the
dca
have
other
pieces
of
the
equation
and
incentive
for
the
program.
They
have
grow
austin
provisions
as
well.
The
county
is
also
looking
at
providing
a
2.5
million
dollar
loan,
and
the
port
authority
would
provide
sale
or
donation
of
8.6
acres
of
land.
C
Those
actions
are
still
forthcoming.
The
new
tech
bioscience
is
the
operating
company
and
jcw
as
the
builder,
who
will
be
jointly
doing
the
project
together.
This
is
a
for
a
facility
that
is
a
vegetable
and
yeast-based
protein
peptone
for
the
pharma
and
food
industries
and
would
be
located
in
the
creekside
business
park
there.
C
Their
building
is
estimated
to
be
at
sixty
thousand
square
feet
and
a
concrete
tip-up
panel
with
a
taxable
value
of
four
point:
three
to
four
point:
seven
million
dollars-
tom
yazzie
is
with
us
this
evening
and
will
give
us
more
details
on
the
project
and
what
new
tech
intends
to
accomplish.
Coming
to
austin,
we
have
a
series
of
motions
for
approval
of
council.
C
This
also
is
a
public
hearing
is
required
by
the
minnesota
investment
fund
application.
So
we'll
take
comments
from
anybody
in
the
public,
but
we
also
need
approval
of
the
development
agreement.
Jcf
resolution
mif
resolution
and
participation
with
our
grow
austin
program
be
happy
to
answer
any
questions.
Otherwise
I
turned
over
to
tom
yazzy.
H
We're
really
excited
about
this
project
very
happy
with
how
things
have
gone
with
the
city
of
austin.
We
look
at
it,
as
you
know,
I
always
kind
of
say
that
austin
always
has
had
such
a
rich
manufacturing
background,
and
for
us
we
are
we're
a
company
that
manufactures
products
and
a
little
bit
different.
H
You
know
our
background
has
been
a
lot
in
the
food
industry
and
industrial
food
ingredients,
but
this
is
really,
you
know,
an
even
more
exciting
venture,
because
it's
into
the
pharmaceutical
industry,
if
I
think
a
lot
of
you
have
learned
a
little
bit
about
the
company
and
things
and
what
we
do,
but
I
always
say
the
easiest
way
to
summarize
it
is
that
we
produce
basically
the
food
for
cell
and
tissue
cultures
that
are
used
to
make
pharmaceuticals.
H
This
is
where
we
think
that
the
relationship
with
the
city
of
austin
and
all
the
different
things
you
have
going
on
with
the
hormel
institute
and
some
of
those
areas
that
really
have
just
great
synergy
with
what
we're
doing
and
ultimately
what
we're
we're
doing
is
you
know
we
we
envisioned
with
the
creekside
business
park
is
with
this.
Peptone
plant
is
just
being
the
first
step
in
really
working
towards
a
fully
integrated
system
to
do
everything
from
the
raw
material
supply.
H
All
the
way
up
to
active
pharmaceuticals
and
you'll
always
hear
we
talk
about
a
cmo,
which
is
a
contract
manufacturing
organization,
and
that
is
really
the
it's.
What
what
really
people
in
the
pharmaceutical
industry
are?
Companies
in
the
pharmaceutical
industry
are
utilizing
today
to
mo
to
manufacture
most
of
your
new
pharmaceuticals
and
a
lot
of
what
we
talk
about.
H
But
this
is
really
really
where
the
pharmaceutical
industry
is
moving
and
we
are
really
able
to
really
participate
with
this,
and
it's
really
been
kind
of
kind
of
a
very
kind,
exciting
scenario
right
now,
because
with
covid,
a
lot
of
the
vaccines
that
are
developed
are
all
using
new
technologies
from
the
pharmaceutical
industry,
which
are
these
immunotherapy
type
technologies
and,
and
that's
really
the
business
that
we're
in
and
so
for
our
business.
H
The
fact
that
you
know
all
the
you
know,
issues
and
problems
that
covet
has
caused.
It's
actually
been
something
for
us
that
has
been
really
an
accelerant
to
our
business,
because
we
are
right
in
the
middle
of
ingredients
that
are
used
in
the
supply
chain
for
manufacturing
covet
vaccines,
so
that
that's
something
that
even
after
the
really
the
country
gets
a
hold
of
the
world
gets
a
hold
of
control
of
the
pandemic.
H
The
technologies
that
are
being
developed
and
commercialized
and
approved
will
continue
to
be
utilized.
You
know
going
forward
and
with
a
tremendous
number
of
technological
gains
being
made
from
that,
and
because
of
that
that
just
is
thing
one
of
the
biggest
drivers
to
our
business.
So
we
you
know,
we
always
feel
that
we
were
sort
of
forward
thinking
on
where
the
industry
was
going
and
how
we
were
going
to
participate,
and
we
just
happened
to
sort
of
fall
into
this
scenario
where
everything
accelerated,
because
of
because
of
the
developments
with
coven.
H
So
when
we,
you
know
with
sort
of
what
we're
producing
today,
we
you
know,
we
we've
been
around.
We've
been
manufacturing
products
for
12
years
into
this
industry.
It's
a
relatively,
very
difficult
business
to
get
into.
It
takes
a
long
time
so
because
of
that
there's
very
few
competitors,
but
once
you
get
into
this
business,
it
is
not
a
short
term
business.
When
we
build
this
plant,
I
can
assure
you
that
plant
will
be
making
peptones
for
20
30
40
years
from
now.
H
It's
it's
nearly
impossible
to
take
them
out.
So
I
think
that's
the
piece
that
we,
you
know.
You
know
I
guess
in
general,
we're
you
know
it's
something
that
we
think
can
be
very
transformational
to
the
community.
We
like
to
really
participate
with
the
community,
and
I
think
it's
I
I
would
have
to
say
with
the
people
that
we've
worked
with.
H
It's
been
a
great
relationship
and
we
just
see
a
lot
of
tremendous
things
that
can
happen
there
and
if,
if
we
can
sort
of
build
this
all
out,
as
we
anticipate
we'd
expect
that
that
that
the
business
park
will
be
just
sort
of
a
thriving
area
for
manufacturing
everything
from
raw
materials
all
the
way
to
the
active
pharmaceuticals,
and
we
just
think
it
fit
for
the
area-
and
I
just
excited
to
get
going
on
it,
and
if
anybody
has
any
questions
at
all
ever
just
just.
H
Let
me
know
love
to
talk
about
this
stuff
and
it's
it's.
It's
really
exciting
impactful
thing,
so
you
know
we'll
be
right.
Now
we're
already
we're
right
in
the
middle
of
some
of
one
of
the
top
vaccine
candidates,
and
we
see
some
of
those
things
just
continuing
on
with
materials.
C
I
You
thanks
mr
clark,
and
I
just
want
to
take
a
second
to
congratulate
all
the
mayor
and
the
other
new
council
members
on
their
their
leadership,
and
thank
you
for
what
you're
doing
I
met
tom
and
and
kent
is
on
the
call
about
two
years
ago
at
at
a
like
a
trade
show
in
the
twin
cities,
and
I
I
I
clearly
remember
the
initial
conversation
with
them,
where
I
think
within
a
few
minutes.
I
I'm
like
this
is
a
great
fit
for
austin
and
I
think
you
know
sight
unseen
to
some
extent,
they're
like
what
you're
saying
really
makes
sense
for
us
as
a
as
a
company-
and
you
know
that's
two
years
now,
but
I'd
say
I
just
wanted
to
make
a
comment
that
I
think
from
the
beginning.
I
It
was
a
great
fit
and
I
think
that
still
seems
like
a
great
fit
just
from
the
community
perspective
over
the
course
of
two
years
we
expect
35
jobs,
an
average
wage
of
27
that
includes
some
benefits.
I
I
You
might
notice
that
last
name,
robbins
jeff
is
actually
a
native
of
austin
and
assisted
dca
in
conducting
due
diligence
to
go
through
it
with
new
tech
and
talk
for
the
things
that
they
were
talking
about.
Just
confirm
them.
Jeff
has
a
background
working
with
science-based
companies,
often
sort
of
an
early
stage.
Companies
well
new
tech's,
been
around
for
12
years
and
jeff
is
a
great
assistant
and
the
robin's
furniture
family
jeff
is
from
austin
that's
the
connection,
but
it's
in
the
twin
cities
now.
I
So
this
is
a
complimentary
industry
for
us
it's,
it
can
be
it's
it's
plant-based,
it
can
be
egg
related.
It
can
be
food
related,
but
also
brings
in
something
new,
which
is
the
pharma
and
not
just
pharma.
I
I
mean
there's
many
ways
we
could
hopefully
be
connected
to
pharma,
but
this
is
at
the
cutting
edge
of
pharma.
The
role
here
and,
like
ken
or
tom,
said
it
could
really
help
transform
austin
by
bringing
a
new
vibrant
industry
into
the
community
along
with
jeff's
help.
We
verified
a
lot
of
you
know
what
tom
has
told
us
that
these
are
long-term
facilities.
They
can't
be
switched
out
of
a
product
very
easily
that
the
the
industry
itself
is
on
on
the
increase
with
peptones
and
biologics.
I
These
are
plant-based
pharmaceuticals
that
are
more
and
more
required
by
indus
by
the
federal
government,
not
only
united
states
but
abroad.
I
Just
a
couple
other
notes
that
it
has
potential
for
a
relationship
with
riverland
community
college
with
training
workforce
is
crucial
to
their
industry
and
a
lot
of
potential
there.
I
Also,
while
there's
nothing,
you
know
in
place
today,
tom
kemp
met
with
representatives
of
the
hormel
institute
had
a
great
conversation
about
what
is
going
on
at
the
institute,
but
also
what's
going
on,
with
with
new
tech
mayo
not
being
far
away
is
also
another
place
where
to
be
kind
of
on
that
cutting
edge
of
pharma
for
austin.
It's
a
great
step
in
that
direction
of
awesome
being
food
egg,
but
then
also
bioscience.
I
I
could
go
on,
but
I
do
think
that
you
know
the
economic
impact
of
having
35
new
jobs
that
are
equivalent
of
you
know
mid
fifty
thousand
dollars
a
year
is
has
a
ripple
effect,
the
multiplying
effect
people
talk
about
the
economic
development.
What's
what's
the
direct
impact?
What's
the
ripple
and
it's
exciting,
I
think
we'll
have
you
know
based
on
the
numbers
I
see
in
the
the
compute,
you
definitely
would
see
a
ripple
effect
anywhere
from
five
to
twenty
new
jobs.
I
That
would
happen
in
the
community
because
a
company
like
this
is
locating
in
the
community.
I'm
so
very
excited
from
that
standpoint
too,
and
appreciate
it
been
great
working
with
them.
Thanks.
A
E
Hello,
I'm
elaine
hanson,
I'm
the
president
of
the
austin
area,
chamber
of
commerce
and
we're
very
excited
about
this
opportunity
and
to
welcome
such
a
great
business
to
our
community,
and
I
just
want
to
make
sure
that
you
are
aware
of
the
resources
available
at
the
chamber
and
one
of
the
big
ones
is
our
community
concierge
program
which
is
designed
to
help
newcomers
to
our
community,
learn
about
the
community,
find
places
to
live,
connect
and
also
helping
trailing
spouses
to
find
jobs.
E
A
A
It's
very
exciting
to
to
see
see
new
development,
especially
in
the
biosciences.
That's
something
we're
really
going
after.
I
had
the
opportunity
to
meet
with
kent
and
tom
about
a
year
and
a
half
ago
also,
I
know
in
talking
to
you
there's
a
lot
of
cities
that
recording
you
for
this
business
and
this
this
facility,
so
we're
happy
that
you
chose
austin
and
look
forward
to
many
years
of
partnership.
So
thank
you,
mr
robbins.
A
J
A
Yeah
you've
been
john's
a
little
younger
than
that,
but
he
was
probably
in
sixth
grade
lighting
it
up
at
that
time.
Well,
thanks
for
your
work
on
this
too,
mr
robbins,
I
think
it's
a
great
partnership
and-
and
we're
very
excited
so
with
that.
If
there's
any
comments
from
the
council.
D
E
A
A
F
A
A
Look
forward
to
looking
forward
to
it
right
on
number
six
under
pressure.
A
A
L
Hi
everyone,
so,
at
the
work
session
on
january
4th,
we
went
over
the
proposed
2021
street
assessment
rates
and
we
kind
of
reviewed
last
year's
and
how
we
were
reaching
about.
26
of
our
project
costs
are
being
assessed
and
our
goal
is
40.
So
the
council
suggested
that
we
increase
the
assessment
rate
by
7.
C
G
D
A
F
L
Back,
I
didn't
have
anything
else
other
than
we.
We
recommend
moving
forward
with
a
seven
percent
increase.
G
Just
just
before
we
vote,
I
just
wanted
to
comment
that
when
we
had
this
before
the
work
session,
it
was
recommended
from
staff
to
go
just
five
percent
and
it
was
moved
by
council
to
go
to
seven,
and
I
guess
I
just
feel
that
if
I
mean
if
the
goal
of
council
is
to
increase
the
amount
that
we
assess
to
get
us
closer
to
the
40
to
50
percent,
then
I
don't
think
the
two
percent
is
really
going
to
make
that
much
difference.
And
I
I
like
the
five
percent
that
staff
recommended.
G
It's
typical,
that
we
do
go
with
staff
recommendations
on
these
and
if
we're
going
to
go
against
staff
recommendation
and
you're
really
looking
for
recovering
more
of
that
cost,
and
why
don't
we
go
a
greater
amount?
The
two
percent
really
isn't
going
to
make
that
much
difference.
So
I
guess
I'm
really
more
in
favor
of
a
five
percent,
but
we
have
seven
before
us
so.
K
G
But
I
mean:
if
we're
going
to
go
against
staff
recommendation
in
an
effort
to
achieve
a
greater
percentage
of
being
assessed,
then
you
know
go
10
or
15
or
20
whatever
it
takes
to
get
to
that
point,
you
know
just
going
2
percent
above
their
recommendation.
I
guess
doesn't
achieve
a
whole
lot
and
that's
kind
of
where
we've
been
for
several
years
now,
but
just
my
thought.
A
I
think,
with
with
jeff's
comments
we've
through
the
work
session,
move
forward
with
the
seven
percent,
so
I
think
we'll
stick
with
that.
Unless
someone
at
this
point,
we
got
a
resolution,
a
motion
on
the
table,
actually
a
resolution
on
the
table
for
a
seven
percent
increase
on
the
street
assessment
rate.
So
looking
for
a
motion.
E
K
A
K
A
A
K
Hello,
my
name
is
teresa
lugo.
I
am
the
bilingual

at
austin

I
have

I
was

in
worthington
minnesota.
My
parents
were
immigrants
that
came
to
texas
and
to

a
better
future.
I'm
excited
to
be
part
of
this
and
learn
a
little
bit
more
of
the
austin
community.
I've
only
lived
here
about
six
years,
so
a
little
new
to
austin.
So
I'm
excited.
A
Welcome
welcome
and
thank
you
so
looking
for
a
motion
to
accept
theresa
lugo
as
the
honorary
council
member
so
moved.
Second,
all
in
favor,
aye
aye
aye
opposed.
A
Congratulations!
Your
honorary
council
member
moving
on
to
number
nine
looking
for
a
motion
accepting
an
audit
agree
or
an
audit
engagement
letter
from
clifton
larson
allen.
Llp
tom.
Could
you
read
that
letter
word
by
word
please.
I.
F
Involved
in
that
sorry
annually,
we
were
required
by
state
statutes
to
have
an
audit
of
our
finances
based
on
december
31st
year
end
for
the
2020
year.
The
auditors
have
proposed
a
freeze
in
the
audit
fees
again
be
about
three
hundred
and
five
dollars.
This
year
we
will
be
required
to
have
a
single
audit,
which
is
an
extra
twenty
five
hundred
dollars
included
in
that
quote,
because
of
the
cares
act
money
if
you
receive
over
700
750
000
of
federal
dollars,
you're
required
to
have
a
single
audit.
F
We
haven't
had
such
in
a
long
time,
but
again
with
the
1.9
million
of
cares
act
money
we
will
be
required
to
have
that
single
audit
should
be
pretty
basic
based
on
how
council
approved
the
expenditures
of
it.
But
again,
clifton
larson
island
is
a
local
firm.
They've
got
an
office
here
in
austin,
and
a
couple
of
the
employees
are
usually
involved
in
our
audit,
so
we
kind
of
like
to
keep
it
local.

A
A
All
right,
moving
on
number
11
looking
for
resolution,
accepting
donations
to
the
city
so
moved
there.
Second.
E
A
D
F
A
You,
mr
dankert,
the
following
donations
were
accepted.
I
just
want
to
recognize
these
good
folks
that
are
donating
to
the
city,
blitz
schindler,
donated
to
2
500
of
the
ski
and
snowshoe
program
at
the
nature
center.
Thank
you,
bolita.
The
eagles
donated
twenty
five
hundred
dollars
the
summer
wreck
van
wrap,
thank
you
eagles
and
221
dollars,
and
sixty
four
cents
from
tammy
schultz
from
the
to
the
bike
club
for
a
donation.
So
thank
you
for
those
austin
the
eagles
and
the
the
residents
belita
and
tammy.
Thank
you
very
much.
A
F
Counts:
we've
done
this
for
the
last
few
years,
based
on
the
drastic
reduction
in
interest
rates
that
are
out
there
for
investments.
The
city
is
authorized
to
invest
in
historically
45
percent
of
our
investment
earnings
over
all
the
city's
money
goes
into.
What's
called
the
building
fund
in
the
past.
Building
fund
is
paid
for
libraries,
arenas,
city
hall,
remodeling
et
cetera.
It's
things
that
we
don't
have
to
put
onto
the
taxpayers
as
they
tax
levy.
F
We
just
take
interest
earnings,
kind
of
hoard
them
up
over
the
years
to
do
a
big
project
based
on
the
interest
rates
we've
had
in
the
past.
The
original
policy
had
450
grand
as
a
minimum
dollars
that
went
into
the
building
fund.
So
if
we
had
a
year,
we
had
half
a
million
dollars
worth
of
investment
earnings.
The
first
450
goes
into
the
building
fund
and
the
other
50
split
amongst
the
other
funds.
F
Literally,
that's
what's
happened
those
last
couple
years,
so
we've
requested
council
to
reduce
that
minimum
to
three
three
hundred
thousand
dollars
so
that
some
of
the
other
funds
get
some
some
dollars.
Then
we'd
have
that
policy
in
place
until
or
through
december
31st
of
2022,
because
based
on
what
we're
seeing,
there's
not
going
to
be
any
massive
change
in
the
rates
to
allow
us
to
earn
anything
above
what
we're
doing
now.
A
Thank
you,
mr
danker.
Looking
for
motion
for
number
13
appointing
shannon
lisney
to
the
library
board
term,
ending
december
31st
2021
so
moved.
Second.
Second,
thank
you
all
in
favor,
aye,
aye,
aye,
aye
opposed
just
want
to
say
one
of
the
best
jobs.
The
mayor
is
you
get
to
ask
people
to
join
committees
and
commissions
and
boards
and
shannon
isn't
he
as
the
individual
is
22
years
old,
went
to
college
she's,
a
local
moved
back,
bought
a
nice
home
very
invested
in
the
community.
It's
great
to
see
people
responding
to
when
they.
A
I
think
they
just
want
to
be
asked
and
she's
very
excited
to
serve
on
the
library
board,
and
why
wouldn't
she
joyce
she
likes
books
turns
out
so
happy
that
shannon
stepped
up
to
the
library
board.
So
thank
you.
Moving
on
to
number
14
looking
forward
to
julie,
that's
too
little
julie's
got
a
thumbs
up
all
right.
N
Mayor
and
council,
at
our
last
planning
commission
meeting
on
january
12th,
the
planning
commission
reviewed
a
petition
for
a
second
sign
at
pet
authority
facing
the
south
coming
for
north
going
traffic,
the
south
side
of
their
business,
our
code.
N
She
rings
a
bell
to
go
outside
our
toe
wood.
Section
4.5
requires
that
wall
science
face
of
public
street
or
alley.
In
this
instance.
The
spine
will
face
a
neighboring
lot
and
business
after
review.
The
planning
commission,
with
five
members
present
vote,
are
recommended
approving
the
appeal
of
five
to
zero.
They
looked
at
whether
the
sign
was
compatible
with
its
surroundings.
N
J
D
N
Any
questions
there's
a
list
of
things
that
the
planning
commission
took
into
consideration
in
the
making
that
recommendation.
K
E
N
N
F
N
Yeah,
this
is
the
lot
between
the
paramount
and
tender
made
or
the
two
lots.
The
petitioner
is
asking
to
combine
those
two
lots
for
future
development.
Again,
this
was
reviewed
by
austin
utilities,
the
engineering
and
planning
department,
and
there
were
no
concerns.
Okay,
any
questions,
counseling.
E
F
A
A
E
A
E
A
Closed
motion
passes
citizens
addressing
the
council.
I
don't
think
we
have
any
on
zoom.
I
don't
think
we
have
any
in
person
honorary
council
member
comments
teresa.
We
met
you
that
ordinarily,
at
the
next
meeting
you
don't
reintroduce
yourself
again,
but
at
this
point
the
meeting
was
going
to
ask
you
any
comments
or
observations.
You
want
to
speak
about
so.
B
A
C
Yes
mayor,
we
had
a
good
conversation
with
senator
dornick
and
representative
mueller
on
our
7.45
million
for
our
wastewater
treatment,
plant
design
and
engineering
expenses,
with
the
passage
of
late
passage
of
the
bonding
bill
and
where
we've
incurred
expenses
to
keep
that
moving
forward
in
a
bit
of
a
catch
22
between
having
the
design
ready
for
mpca
to
review
that
and
when
the
bonding
bill
finally
was
signed.
C
So
we're
asking
for
reallocation
of
those
dollars
that
would
be
able
to
be
used
for
construction.
So
we're
talking
with
them
about
that.
We
held
a
committee
hearing
in
the
house
representatives
this
morning,
which
I
was
able
to
testify
and
at
least
put
it
on
the
table
for
consideration
those
that
turned
up
to
the
human
rights
commission.
We
had,
I
think,
70
people
at
that
for
the
martin
luther
king
event
and
some
great
discussion
there
and
for
impacted
businesses
that
were
closed
or
restricted
for
the
executive
order.
C
20-99
the
malware
county
has
announced
an
opening
for
a
grant
cycle
for
of
the
791
thousand
dollars
they've
received.
So
we
encourage
applicants
and
small
businesses
to
look
at
that.
The
development
corporation
of
austin
is
hosting
and
facilitating
the
grant
application,
so
please
visit
their
website
or,
if
you're,
having
trouble,
certainly
reach
out
to
us
here
at
the
city
and
we'll
help
you
as
well.
So
hopefully,
businesses
can
take
advantage
of
that.
That's
all.
I
have.
A
Thank
you,
craig
did
a
nice
job
testifying
today.
I
was
able
to
witness
that
it's
it's
great
to
have
someone
with
his
knowledge
to
be
able
to.
It
can
be
certainly
an
intimidating
process,
but
he
navigated
that
beautifully
today.
So
we're
hopeful
and
I
think
it
was
patty
mueller
our
present
representative's
first
committee
hearing.
Maybe
it
seemed
like
possibly
it
was
yeah
we
went,
but
it
went
very
well
so
we're
hopeful
reports,
recommendations
from
council
joyce
start
with
you.
B
I
want
to
thank
the
city
department,
heads
that
have
had
a
chance
to
meet
with
to
kind
of
introduce
me
to
the
city,
council,
life
and
it's
been
very
helpful,
and
I've
gained
a
lot
of
knowledge
and
special
thanks
to
the
human
rights
commission
and
trish
for
doing
a
great
job.
It
was
very
interesting
event,
last
night
and
well
done
by
all.
M
A
M
Thank
you,
honor.
I
been
doing
a
lot
of
tours
and
visiting.
I
had
the
opportunity
to
visit
austin
utility
and
I
had
a
tour
with
mike
remember.
M
Do
we
have
this
whole
building
here,
so
it
was
amazing
and
he
doing
a
great
job
there,
and
I
was
I
was
so
happy
to
be
part
of
that
tour,
and
I
learned
a
lot
from
and
all
this
week
I've
been,
you
know,
receiving
a
lot
of
emails
just
reading
through
having
all
this
meeting,
I
have
the
opportunity
to
meet
with
a
connecting
young
professional
last
week.
I
think
a
week
and
a
half
ago,
and
then
I
have
great
discussion
with
them.
M
So
they
don't
like
me
to
join
them
on
the
board,
so
looking
forward
to
connect
with
them
more
and
learn
about
the
work
they're
doing
to
help
them
out
and
share
some
of
our
ideas
and
then,
lastly,
we
had
a
great
discussion.
Yesterday
I
have
to
be.
I
had
the
opportunity
to
be
on
the
panel
with
being
invited
by
austin
human
rights
commission
to
learn
about
one
of
the
guest
speaker,
so
we
had
a
lot
of
that
was
the
first
zoom
meeting.
M
We
have
so
many
people
on
that
seen
I've
attended,
so
it
was
a
great
discussion
from
the
community
and
so
far
looking
forward
to
learn
more,
I
will
be
having
a
lot
of
orientation
this
week,
so
yeah
looking
forward
to
and
thank
you
everyone
for
your
help
and
especially
to
our
here
so
craig
been
very
helpful.
So
I
really
appreciate
all
the
help
yeah.
Thank
you.
D
Yeah
I'd
compliment
the
hrc
and
trish,
and
our
two
esteemed
panelists
up
here
as
well.
I
thought
it
was
a
great
event
last
night
and
really
good
discussion
and
the
only
other
thing
I
have
is
to
encourage
any
austin
resident.
We
have
a
survey,
that's
going
to
close
end
today
on
thursday
around
what
you
want
to
see
the
city
tackling
both
in
2021
as
well
as
longer
term.
It
takes
about
60
seconds
to
fill
out
the
survey.
D
If
that
we'll
start
to
look
at
the
results
here,
it
takes
two
if
you're
the
mayor,
but
no
we've
had
a
good
response
rate
so
far
and
again,
that'll
close
end
of
day
thursday.
So
you
can
go
to
the
city's
facebook
page
and
that
link
should
be
available
and
we'd
love
to
hear
from
you.
A
Nothing,
your
honor
all
right,
I'd
just
like
to
say
that
one
of
the
that
that
was
that
it
was
very
impactful
yesterday
that
the
human
rights
commission,
having
the
author
down
that,
but
the
the
amount
of
people
that
that
tuned
in
so
to
speak,
70
folks.
I
know
the
chatter
before
the
zoom
meeting
was,
if
we
got
50
that'd,
be
a
that'd,
be
a
great
turnout
and
so
to
have
70
folks
on
the
zoom
was
was
absolutely
amazing.
A
So
also
one
thing:
I've
taken
away
from
being
the
mayor
for
all
of
two
weeks
is
that
we
really
do
have
a
very
robust
council
and
city
staff
that
are
constantly
communicating
and
looking
for
ideas
and
shooting
them
out
there.
I
normally
wouldn't
be
copied,
but
now
I'm
in
a
position
where
I'm
getting
copied
in
a
lot
of
emails,
and
it
just
it's
it's
heartening
to
see
the
amount
of
effort
being
put
by
council
and
as
well
on
the
city
staff
to
respond.
So
it's
it's.
A
It's
excellent
and
I
think
with
that
I'd
just
like
to
welcome
your
way
back
to
council
chambers.
It's
been
about
nine
months
or
so
since
we've
all
been
together,
and
I
think
what
we'll
do
is
take
a
five
minute
break
and
then
move
down
into
here,
less
formal
and
grab
a
sandwich
and
we'll
be
back
in
five
minutes.
So
there
you
go
motion
tuning
motion.
