Hi
I'm
firefighter
Trish
and
today
we're
going
to
talk
about
keeping
kids
safe
in
the
kitchen.
I've
got
kids
myself
and
from
the
time
they
were
little
I
taught
them
to
stay
well
away
from
the
stove
help
your
kids
measure
a
kid-free
zone
around
your
stove
and
cook
top
make
the
zone
at
least
three
feet
wide.
So
the
Cook
has
plenty
of
space
and
the
kids
are
out
of
danger.
This
kid
free
zone
gives
parents
one
less
thing
to
worry
about
in
the
kitchen.
That's
my
too
got
it
on
you.
B
Hi
kids
I'm
captain
Colin
did
you
know
that
campfires
left
unattended
or
a
leading
cause
of
wildfires?
This
is
the
best
way
to
put
out
your
campfire
first,
you
pour
lots
of
water
on
the
fire,
then
stir
the
ashes
with
your
shovel
then
pour
more
water
on
the
fire
until
it's
completely
out.
Remember
if
it's
too
hot,
to
touch
it's
too
hot
to
leave.

Hi
kids
on
Fire
Chief
Tim
did
you
know
that
more
fires
are
caused
by
children
who
misuse
matches
and
lighters?
Children
are
fascinated
by
fire,
but
they
don't
understand
how
dangerous
it
can
be
matches
and
lighters
or
tools,
not
toys,
and
are
only
to
be
used
by
adults.
If
you
find
matches
or
lighters,
be
sure
to
tell
a
grown-up,
and
if
you
see
a
small
child
using
them
tell
a
grown-up
right
away.
