Bend Police conduct quarterly in-service trainings. In May 2023, sworn officers all engaged in a full day of training at the range that included a scenario in which they had to rescue an injured officer under fire.

Bend Police Training Sgt. Todd Guthrie explains the purpose of this month’s quarterly training for the Bend Police Department.

The City of Bend has selected Michael Krantz as Bend’s next Police Chief. He will begin his service in Bend on August 10, 2020.
