A
B
A-Coming
upon
us
last
year,
as
everybody
recalls,
tough
winter
I-
think
we
all
learned
some
lessons.
So
not
only
the
community
preparing
individually
home
getting
prepared
to
drive
in
the
winter
streets
and
operations
department.
Here,
city
band
has
made
a
number
of
changes,
additions,
trying
to
improve
the
level
of
service
and
be
ready
for
this
winter.
So.
C
D
Had
the
ability
to
acquire
some
new
equipment,
we
do
have
some
new
personnel.
We
right
now
are
running
a
training
program
getting
our
equipment
and
our
personnel
ready
for
the
upcoming
winter.
This
year
we
have
two
overlapping
eight-hour
shifts.
We
have
the
ability
to
work
overtime,
we
also
have
the
be
on-call
crew
on
and
in
case
of
an
emergency.
We
have
the
ability
to
go
to
12-hour
shifts
for
around-the-clock
coverage.
One.

A
pilot
project
that
we're
phasing
in
this
year
that
we
think
will
help
we've
identified
a
handful
of
streets
that
have
been
problematic
in
the
past
and
if
a
snow
emergency
is
declared
by
city
manager,
what
that
essentially
means
in
these
snow
emergency
zones,
which
will
be
signed
and
public
outreach
for
them,
is
a
period
of
12
hours
of
no
parking
on
these
streets.
To
allow
us
to
get
in,
you
know
help
us
help
you
no
parking
get.
B
Parking
restrictions
when
a
snow
emergency
is
in
place
since
we're
already
here
in
November
phasing
out
a
new
program
honestly
do
not
anticipate
towing
anybody
or
ticketing
anybody
this
year
like
who,
you
will
receive
a
warning
and
a
notice
on
your
car.
We
will
also
do
public
outreach
for
these
areas
once
the
signage
is
in
place,
but
we.
