Join the City of Bend as we discuss HB 2001 changes to Bend Development Code (Allows Accessory Dwelling Units, Townhouses, Triplexes, etc. in many residential zones) and SB 458 (Allows land divisions of middle housing lots into multiple dwellings on separate lots). HB 2001 Stakeholder Advisory Group - March 31, 2021 - Meeting

On Feb. 3, 2021 the Neighborhood Leadership Alliance (NLA) Boundaries Working Group met and received a presentation by Richard Ross, subject-matter expert and Old Bend Neighborhood Association Vice Chair. Ross's presentation walked the group through Bend's changing city limits from it's beginning in 1904 to present day, and provided a background to help the working group better understand the organic growth and unique obstacles that have led to Bend's boundaries today.

The City wants to know how the community of Bend wants to be protected. We need your ideas. Join a community conversation with the City related to the City Council’s updated goal to: “Be responsive and accountable to the changing needs and expectations of the community and increase Council awareness and public participation in law enforcement policy.”

The Stewardship Subcommittee discusses topics related to community stewardship, including natural resources, human and health services, public safety, and community partnerships.

The Bend MPO is managed by a five-member Policy Board comprised of representatives from Bend City Council, Deschutes County Board of Commissioners and Oregon Department of Transportation. All members have been appointed by their respective agencies. The agreement establishing the MPO regulates the business procedures of the Policy Board and all decisions are made in public meeting settings.
