A
Hello,
I'm
vincent
creel
public
affairs
manager
for
the
city
of
biloxi
here
to
deliver
today's
report
for
friday
june
18
2021
we'll
have
a
quick
update
on
the
road
work
on
point
cadet,
a
soggy
weekend
preview
and
a
moment
of
zen
over
at
geist
park
at
the
biloxi
small
craft
harbor.
But
we
begin
today
with
the
top
story
weather
it.
A
But
a
tropical
disturbance
is
capturing
media
attention
as
the
first
activity
of
the
year,
at
least
for
biloxi.
Right
now,
it's
called
potential
tropical
cyclone
3..
Here's
the
track
as
of
thursday
night
at
10
o'clock.
Winds
could
reach
tropical
storm
force,
which
is
over
40
miles
an
hour.
However,
the
number
one
threat
will
be
the
rain
and
potential
flooding
reports
are
anywhere
from
three
to
five
inches
or
as
much
as
10
inches
of
rain.
Through
sunday,
tides
are
expected
to
be
one
to
three
feet
above
normal.
A
No
evacuation
is
planned
at
biloxi's,
harbors
and
marinas,
but
boat
owners
are
being
asked
to
check
their
mooring
lines
and
to
stow
anything
on
the
finger.
Piers,
the
national
weather
service
says
tropical
storm
conditions
are
likely
this
weekend
and,
as
a
result,
tropical
storm
warnings
have
been
issued
from
louisiana
to
the
alabama
florida
border.
This
means
biloxi
is
under
a
tropical
storm
warning.
