Cecilia

Walton
and
I'm

for
the

of
Biloxi
I'm
here
to
deliver
today's
be
prepared

This
is
being
recorded
on
Thursday
May,

2020
at

p.m.
today,
the
Mississippi
State
Department
of
Health

that
in
the
past
24
hours,
262
new
cases
of
the
corona
virus
were
diagnosed
throughout
the
state.
They
also
report
22
new
deaths
of
the
22
nine
or
from
prior
weeks
and
noted
after
death
certificate
investigations.
A
This
chart
shows
you
the
overall
total,
since
the
crisis
began,
and
this
chart
shows
you
the
14
day
trend
statewide
in
Harrison
County.
One
new
case
was
reported
in
the
past
24
hours
and
no
new
deaths.
This
chart
shows
the
14
day
trend
in
Harrison
County.
Each
chart
is
also
on
the
city's
website,
which
can
be
found
at
Biloxi
MS
us
in
Jackson
County.
One
new
case
of
the
corona
virus
was
reported
and
one
new
death
in
Hancock
County.
A
Four
new
cases
were
reported
as
well
as
four
new
deaths
as
more
and
more
restaurants
and
retailers
are
allowed
to
open.
The
city
is
also
opening
up
more
recreational
opportunities.
In
city
parks,
pickleball
courts
at
the
Pops
ferry
recreational
area
are
now
open
daily
from
9
a.m.
to
8
p.m.
but
with
limitations,
no
more
than
10
players
at
one
time
allowed
on
the
courts.
That's
ten
players
on
courts,
one
through
six
and
ten
players
on
courts
7
through
12.
If
players
are
waiting
to
play,
court
time
is
limited
to
one
hour.
A
Singles
play
only
is
encouraged,
however,
if
doubles
are
played,
it
is
encouraged
that
you
play
with
those
who,
in
your
household,
no
organized
group
play
or
training,
is
allowed
at
this
time,
use
your
own
equipment
and
wear
a
mask
when
talking
with
others.
Also,
please
make
sure
you
have
your
own
hand,
sanitizer
and
wives
and
your
own
chair,
if
needed,
to
sit
in
a
way
for
a
court
or
to
rest
between
games.
A
As
for
the
tennis
courts,
they
are
now
open
at
the
AJ
Holloway
Sports
Complex
weekdays
from
7:30
to
10:30
in
the
morning
and
5:00
to
7:00
in
the
evening.
No
more
than
four
people
allowed
on
each
court
at
one
time
also
use
your
own
equipment,
wear
a
mask
when
talking
with
other
players
and
have
your
own
hand
sanitizer
and
wipes
with
you
when
playing
pickleball
or
tennis.
Please
remember
to
social
distance
and
if
you
feel
sick
stay
home
also,
don't
forget
to
have
your
own
water
bottle
with
you
full
of
water.
A
So
you
can
stay
hydrated
by
playing.
Please
remember:
to
review
mayor
Gill,
adjust
guidelines
for
opening
up
Biloxi
yen.
So
when
you
go
out
and
about
you
will
be
familiar
with
what
to
expect
when
say
shopping
or
grabbing
a
bite
to
eat.
Please
remember:
we
are
in
a
pandemic,
please
follow
CDC
guidelines,
wear
a
mask
and
while
in
public
and
social
distance,
please
do
your
part
to
help
stop
the
spread.
That's
today's
report.
Please
check
back
again
tomorrow
on
behalf
of
mayor
Gillick
and
the
members
of
the
Biloxi
City
Council.
