A
Hello
I'm
mayor
fofo
Gillick,
it's
Sunday,
March,
the
22nd
at
3:00
p.m.
this
is
the
first
of
a
series
of
messages
that
you
can
see
here
every
day,
sometimes
more
than
once
a
day.
We
want
to
give
you
accurate
information.
The
things
you
need
to
know
on
March,
the
17th,
the
City
Council
declared
a
state
of
emergency.
The
President
and
governor
also
have
made
similar
declarations.
Everyone
is
worried
about
the
corona
virus.
A
state
of
emergency
means
that
we're
taking
the
steps
necessary
to
prevent
the
spread
of
the
virus.
A
Protective
preventive
measures
have
been
put
in
place
for
the
public,
the
city,
employees
and
their
families.
It's
not
business
as
usual,
but
be
assured
you
can
still
take
care
of
business,
don't
listen
to
rumors.
There
is
no
curfew
at
this
town
non-essential
businesses
have
been
closed.
We're
not
going
to
close
down
this
city,
shelter
in
place
travel
only
when
necessary,
respect
social
distances.
Failure
to
do
so
puts
everyone
at
risk.
Some
of
you
are
scared,
don't
be
scared,
I'm,
not
scared,
and
you
shouldn't
be
either
follow
through
on
the
advice,
we're
giving
you
be
smart.
A
We
all
know
how
to
prepare
for
dangerous
situations
like
a
hurricane.
It's
the
same
thing
we're
making
decisions
based
on
the
information
we
have
down
on
one
one
police
find
a
mark
will
respond,
just
as
always
we're
fully
staffed
and
ready
for
the
challenge
for
other
city,
business
use,
the
phone
email
or
the
website
you'll
see
our
city
workers
on
the
job,
doing
their
job,
but
limiting
personal
contact.
A
We've
essentially
closed
all
city
facilities
to
routine
walk-in
traffic,
I've
already
seen
businesses
taking
steps
to
be
ready
for
when
this
passes
we
are
Biloxi
we're
going
to
get
through
this.
Just
like
we've
always
gotten
through
everything
else,
we'll
see
you
tomorrow.
Again,
god
bless
you.
God
bless
Biloxi,.
