in
our
area.
Biloxi

officers
are
now
wearing
masks
and
gloves
when

with
the
public.
The
Biloxi

is
still
handling
calls,
despite
having
nearly
two
dozen
firefighters
off
duty.
While
they
battle
either
the

or
symptoms
of
the
virus.

spread
of
the
corona
virus.
We
leave
you
today
with
something
special.
A
It
was
in
February
of
2010,
almost
5
years
after
Katrina,
when
the
city
was
rededicating
to
Biloxi
lighthouse.
After
a
total
makeover,
the
White
House
had
gained
some
cachet.
It
was
featured
on
an
award-winning
design
of
the
state
license
tags
that
year
and
after
having
stood
so
tall
and
being
such
a
symbol
of
resilience.
After
Katrina
there
was
a
guy
named
Steve
Kesang,
who
was
a
deckhand
on
the
sailfish,
which
is
the
Biloxi
shrimping
tour
down
at
the
small
crafts
Harbor.
A
He
was
so
moved
by
the
story
of
the
Biloxi
White
House
that
he
researched
the
history
of
our
signature
landmark
and
based
on
what
he
found.
He
wrote
a
song.
We
thought
it
was
a
moving
song
then,
and
we
do
now,
so
we
wanted
to
share
it
with
you.
You'll
notice
that
when
we
filmed
this
music,
video
in
2010
construction
had
only
just
begun
on
the
Biloxi
visitor
center.
We
will
see
you
here
again
tomorrow
for
another,
be
prepared,
video
and
the
words
of
mayor
Andrew,
fofo.
Gillick,
god
bless
you
and
God
bless
Biloxi.
