after

at
night
parks
are
open
from
6
a.m.
to
6
p.m.
primarily
for
individual
recreation,
jogging
and
walking.
Businesses
are
anxious
to
reopen.
We
know
that
please
continue
to
be
patient.
Mayor,

A
The
city

finalizing
the

guidelines
in
anticipation
of
being
ready
to
go
hiren
studies
guidelines
will
be
critical
for
Biloxi
to
continue
its
success
and
moving
forward
even
with
the
pandemic.
Some
things
can
be
done
in
a
safe
manner.
That
includes
commercial
and
residential
development.
Here,
to
give
an
update
on
the
Biloxi

is
community

director,
Jerry,
krill,
hello,.
B
And
Thank
You
Cecilia
in
Biloxi
we're
continuing
to
see
development
take
place
and
as
long
as
construction
continues,
we
will
issue
permits
and
perform
inspections.
Over
the
last
few
weeks,
we've
issued
about
7.5
million
dollars
in
construction
permits.
We
have
over
80
million
dollars
worth
of
active
construction
going
on
right
now,
which
is
about
60
in
commercial
and
a
little
over
20
and
residential.
You
know
we
have
about
160
new
single-family
houses
under
construction
in
Biloxi.
B
As
for
the
projects,
this
month,
we
issued
a
construction
permit
for
a
new,
elevated,
go-kart
track
and
pit
building,
which
is
being
constructed
by
big-play
at
the
corner
of
veterans
and
us
90,
where
the
Gus
Stevens
supper
club
once
stood.
We've
also
issued
a
permit
for
the
restaurant
charm,
which
is
moving
into
the
old
Mardi
Gras
Museum
location
along
route
Magnolia.
We
also
have
many
projects
underway.
B
These
include
the
Blake
assisted
living
facility
on
Popp's
Ferry
Road,
the
Performing
Arts
Center
at
Biloxi
high
school,
the
new

these
projects.
Construction
companies
are
able
to
move
forward
while
respecting
social
distancing
rules
as
of
Monday.
The
Community
Development
Department
is
fully
staffed
and
continues
to
conduct
business
by
phone
email
and
online.
B
You
may
call
the
department
at
4:30
5
6
to
8.
Oh,
if
you
have
any
questions
or
need
assistance
and
biloxi
we're
continuing
to
move
forward,
we're
following
CDC
guidelines
of
social
distancing
and
wearing
masks
when
needed.
We're
expressing
these
guidelines
to
developers
as
well
as
making
sure
that
they're
aware
of
the
city's
nightly
curfew
of
11:00
p.m.
to
5:00
a.m.
Biloxi
is
a
strong
community
with
a
rich
culture
and
continued
growth,
both
in
development
and
who
we
are.
B
A
You
Jerry
again,
please
continue
to
be
patient,
know
that
mayor
Gillett
is
working
to
open
up
Biloxi
again,
remember:
restaurants
are
still
open,
only
to
curbside
drive
up
and
deliver
no
inside
or
outside
dining.
Beaches
are
open
to
groups
of
ten
or
less
continue
to
follow.
Cdc
guidelines,
practice
social
distancing
and
wash
your
hands
often
and
wear
a
mask
when
needed.
Please
check
back
again
tomorrow
on
behalf
of
mayor
Gillick
and
the
members
of
the
Biloxi
City
Council.
We
say,
god
bless
you
and
God
bless
Biloxi.
