Description
Biloxi A to Z report: Fireworks, golf carts and more at city council on Tuesday; February BNews Monthly; the latest on the COVID-19 pandemic; and memories on the beach.
A
Hello,
my
name
is
vincent
creel,

affairs
manager

today's

For

you
down
to
the
beach

a
visiting
family,
making
memories
back
when
the
weather
was
clear.
A
In
fact,
we
begin
with
the
weather
today:
fog
lingered
near
the
beachfront
and
challenged
highway
90
motorists
for
much
of
the
day
remember
slow
down
in
fog,
don't
use
high
beam
headlights,
they
won't
shine
through
the
fog
and
they
reflect
back
in
your
eyes,
making
it
worse
for
you
and
other
drivers.
Just
slow
down
showers
and
thunderstorms
are
expected
tonight
tomorrow
and
tomorrow
night,
but
sunny
skies
ought
to
be
back
thursday,
so
continue
to
drive
carefully.

friday,

and

chart
shows
the
total
number
of
positive
tests
statewide.
Since
the
crisis
began.
B
It
also
shows
the
number
of
deaths
statewide.
Sadly,
you
probably
know
or
are
familiar
with
someone
who
has
died
from
covet.
19.
here
is
the
14
day
track
on
cases
statewide
in
harrison
county.
Today,
the
state
department
reports
19
new
cases
of
the
virus
in
the
last
24
hours,
making
the
county
total
more
than
14
000.
Since
mid-march
204
cova

B
As
for
the
vaccinations,
you
can
go
to
the
city's
website
at
biloxi.ms.us
and
visit
the
covid
page.
There
you'll
see
links
to
the
mississippi
state
health
department's
free
vaccination,
drive-through
locations,
as
well
as
state
vaccination
information,
including
who
is
currently
eligible
for
the
vaccine
and
the
mississippi
coven
19
hotline
number,
which
is.
B
877-978-6453,
the
state
department's
website
states
that
vaccinations
are
in
high
demand
and
appointments
may
not
be
available
at
all
sites,
including
the
mississippi
coast
coliseum,
which
is
now
a
drive-through
vaccination
site,
but
vaccination
supplies
and
size
are
expected
to
increase
by
february.
Please
remember
that
many
locations
require
scheduling
that
may
be
done
online
or
by
phone.
B
Also
remember
that
the
vaccine
consists
of
two
shots
and
you
are
to
wait
about
two
weeks
before
receiving
the
second
shot
for
the
vaccine
to
be
fully
effective.
It
has
been
said
that
it
takes
time
for
the
body
to
build
antibodies,
so
continue
to
follow.
All
safety
guidelines
continue
to
mask
up,
have
hand,
awareness
and
wash
your
hands,
often
avoid
social
gatherings
and
stay
home.
If
you
feel
sick,
please
do
your
part
to
help
stop
the
spread
of
the
coronavirus
and
help
save
lives.
