A
Cooking
is
the
most
common
cause
of
residential
fires,
and
residential
fires
are
four
times
more
likely
to
occur
on
thanksgiving
day
than
any
other
day
of
the
year.
This
thanksgiving,
the
biloxi
fire
department,
wants
to
remind
you
of
some
safety
tips
to
keep
in
mind,
while
you're
in
the
kitchen
keep
an
eye
on
what
you
fry,
never
fry
a
turkey
under
a
carport
or
any
other
structure,
stand
by
your
pan.
A
Keep
your
cooking
area
clean
and
free
of
anything
that
might
catch
fire,
such
as
oven,
mitts
wooden
utensils,
food,
packing
or
towels
turn
your
pot
handles
towards
the
back
of
the
stove,
always
keep
a
pan
lid
or
a
baking
sheet
nearby
and
use
it
to
cover
the
pan.
If
it
catches,
fire
check,
smoke,
detectors
and
make
sure
you
have
an
abc
fire
extinguisher.
A
Now,
for
those
of
you
who
will
be
out
and
about
sunday
expect
to
see
motorcycles,
hundreds
of
them,
the
asgard
motorcycle
club,
will
stage
the
37th
annual
toy
run.
A
charitable
motorcycle
run.
Motorcycles
will
begin
gathering
sunday
morning
at
sidelines,
bar
and
grill
off
57
in
jackson,
county
for
free
breakfast
they'll
also
be
gathering
at
big
dog
in
the
kill
and
at
the
gulfport
dragway.
A
The
plan
is
for
everybody
to
meet
up
at
the
home
depot
on
cedar
lake
before
noon
and
precisely
at
noon
on
sunday
they
will
begin
a
procession
that
will
roll
down
I-110
all
the
way
to
us-90
and
all
the
way
over
to
centennial
plaza
in
gulfport.
Here's
the
word
directly
from
asgard
recall
president
of
the
asgards.
B
B
Probably
about
60
to
80
clients
and
caretakers
and
family.
B
Next
sunday,
we're
gonna
be
doing
our
37th
annual
toy
run.
It
provides
toys
for
the
needy,
children
of
the
gulf
coast
and
six
cerrone
counties
ask
for
anybody
to
come
out
and
support
us.
It
is
a
motorcycle
ride.
We
have
three
starting
locations.
B
We
have
one
at
big
dogs
on
highway
43
in
the
kill,
they're
meeting
there
they'll
leave
there
at
10
o'clock,
they'll
go
to
the
drag
strip
and
then
they'll
leave
the
drag
strip
them
two
groups
and
go
to
the
home
depot
and
they'll
leave
there
at
11
o'clock.
B
They
will
be
serving
breakfast
at
eight
o'clock
in
the
morning
there
for
free
something
they're
doing
for
us
and
they'll
leave
there
at
11
o'clock
and
go
to
the
home
depot
on
cedar
lake
and
we'll
leave
cedar
lake
with
a
truckload
of
toys,
hopefully
and
head
down
to
centennial
plaza
for
an
after
party
they'll,
have
food
for
sale
and
drink
and
trying
to
have
some
craft,
vendors
and
stuff
going
on
and
a
band
come
out
and
hang
out
asking
for.
B
B
C
And
now
for
the
latest,
on
the
coronavirus,
as
of
tuesday
november,
the

the

new
cases
of
the
virus
statewide
in
a
24-hour
period.
13

and

new
death.
Overall,
more

half
a

of
the

have
been
reported
throughout
mississippi.
Since
the
pandemic
began
in

2020

in

care
units
along
the
coast.
10

were
hospitalized

As

According
to
the
health
department,
this
holiday
season,
please
remember
to
keep
safety
protocols
in
mind
because

is
still
out
there

On
thanksgiving
day,
the
weather
forecast
shows
sunshine
during
the
day,
with
a
high
of
70
and
a
chance
of
rain
thanksgiving
evening
with
a
low
in
the
upper
40s.
As
for
friday
and
the
rest
of
the
weekend,
it
is
forecast
to
be
mostly
sunny
with
highs
in
the
60s
and
lows
in
the
40s.
Well,
the
hustle
and
bustle
of
black
friday
is
upon
us
and
here's
what
you
need
to
know
to
make
it
a
safe
shopping
weekend.
D
Hello,
I'm
chief
john
miller
with
the
biloxi
police
department
wishing
everyone
a
happy
holiday
season.
We
have
some
safety
tips
we'd
like
everyone
to
keep
in
mind
through
the
holiday
season
when
shopping
park,
your
vehicle
in
a
well-lit
area
as
close
to
your
destination
as
possible,
don't
park
beside
large
buildings
or
in
between
large
vehicles
or
a
park
next
to
vehicles
that
have
tinted
windows.
D
Don't
make
multiple
trips
to
your
car,
with
lots
of
packages
that
only
alerts
these.
They
may
wait
for
you
to
come
back.
Put
those
packages
and
gifts
in
the
trunk
of
the
car.
Don't
leave
anything
exposed
inside
the
car
that
would
be
thief,
could
see,
wear
casual,
comfortable
clothes
and
don't
wear
expensive
jewelry.
The
last
thing
you
want
is
for
a
would-be
criminal
to
think
that
some
of
the
joy
you're
wearing
is
very
expensive,
even
though
you're
rushed-
and
you
have
a
thousand
things
on
your
mind-
stay
vigilant,
be
aware
of
who's
around
you.
D
D
If
you
have
to
use
an
atm
machine,
make
sure
that
you
choose
one
in
a
welded
area,
preferably
inside
a
convenience
store
or
the
ball
there's
one
inside
the
police
station.
If
you
have
to
use
an
atm
machine
outside
the
bank,
try
to
remain
in
your
vehicle.
Try
to
pick
a
bank
where
you
can
drive
up
to
the
atm
machine.
