what's
happening
in
Biloxi.
This
is
being

7th

the
Independence
Day
fireworks
sparked
up
much
attention.
We'll
have
some
details.
The
new
school
year
begins
later
this
month.
We'll
tell
you
about
some
things.

should
be

We
begin
today
with
the
Biloxi
fireworks
show
that
took
place
on
Tuesday
July
4th.
You
may
have
heard
about
the
Rogue
firework
that
caused
a
small
fire
on
Deer
Island.
Here
are
the
details.
The
annual
Show
sponsored
by
the
city
of
Biloxi
and
the
Harrison
County
Board
of
Supervisors
is
hosted
by
the
boom
boom
committee.
The
show
took
place
on
July
4th
over
the
Mississippi
sound.
The
fireworks
were
shot
from
a
barge
near
Deer
Island,
as
it
is
every
year
this
year,
during
the
show,
a
firework
landed
on
Deer
Island,
the
fire
boat.

Biloxi
public
schools
begins
it's
2023
24
school
year
for
all
students
on
July
27th,
but
before
attending
students
need
to
be
registered
online.
Pre-Registration
for
new
students
is
taking
place
now
through
July
14th
in
person.
Residency
registration,
verification
which
is
required,
is
also
taking
place
through
July
14th.
So
registration
must
be
done
by
July
14th
for
more
information,
including
required
documents
for
registration
visit
online
at
Biloxi
schools.net
on
July
12th.
The
city's
soccer
league
is
having
a
board
meeting.

meeting
will
take
place
at
6
pm
at
the
Donald
M
Snyder
community
center
on
Pass
Road.
Those
interested
in
becoming
a
board
member
and
or
volunteering
are
asked
to
attend.
The
city
council
will
hold
its
next
meeting
on
Tuesday
July
12th
at
6
pm
at
Biloxi
City
Hall
on
U
Street.

meeting

Friday
block
party
continues
in
their
new
location
at
the
corner
of
bone
and
Howard
Avenue
right
behind
the
bond
Grant
house,
located
at
932
Howard
Avenue

patriotic

red
white
and
blue,
while
enjoying
food,
trucks,
fun
and
live
entertainment.
This
family-friendly
event
takes
place
tonight
from
five
to
nine
under
the
I-110
overpass
come
and
enjoy
the
beautiful
sunset
as
you
run,
or
walk
over
the
Biloxi
Bay
Bridge
at
the
Croc
and
roll
Sunset
run.
