The
Insider's
Guide
to
what's
happening
in
Biloxi
as
we
continue
to
move
into
the
fall
season
and
feel
more
and
more
of
those
cool,
crisp
mornings
and
nights.
We
are
seeing
more
holiday
activities,
we'll
tell
you
about
some
of
the
upcoming
events
in
Biloxi
and
how
you
can
get
involved.
We'll
also
tell
you
about
a
recent
Ward
meeting
and
how
you
can
watch
that
meeting
and
other
city
council
recordings
and
we'll
take
you
for
a
walk
along
Back
Bay.
But
first
we
begin
with
some
Halloween
events.
A
The
Biloxi,
Parks
and
Recreation
Department
is
looking
for
businesses
and
organizations
that
would
like
to
participate
in
two
trick-or-treating
events.
One
event
is
an
inaugural
Trunk
or
Treat
event
at
Eagle,
Point
Park.
It
takes
place
on
Saturday
October,
the
22nd
from
5
30
to
7
in
the
evening
at
Eagle,
Point
Park.
Those
interested
in
participating
with
passing
out
candy
should
complete
a
participation
form
no
later
than
Wednesday
October
the
19th.
The
other
event
is
the
annual
Halloween
on
Howard,
which
takes
place
on
Saturday
October,
the
29th
from
5
to
6
30
PM
along
Howard
Avenue.
A
Those
interested
in
participating
in
that
event
by
also
passing
out
candy,
should
complete
a
participation
form
no
later
than
Thursday
October.

Over
at
the
Biloxi
Visitor,
Center,
Renovations
and
repair
work
continues,
but
please
note
that
the
center
remains
open
daily
from
8
AM
to
5
p.m.
Earlier
this
week,
council
member
Kenny
glavin
held
a
word
six
meeting
at
the
Blake
of
Biloxi.
The
meeting
was

It's
flu
season
and
covid-19
is
still
around.

With
that
in
mind,
Sunday
morning
from
8
to
11
A.M,
the
annual
Mississippi
Coastal
cleanup
event
will
occur
at
various
locations,
including
Edgewater
Mall,
West,
Beach,
Biloxi
boardwalk
and
the
Biloxi
Lighthouse
area.
Every
October,
thousands
of
volunteers
gather
across
the
coast
in
a
group
effort
to
clean
up
our
beautiful
Coastal
environment,
Nativity
BVM
School
will
have
the
64th
annual
Halloween
Carnival
on
Saturday
from
2
to
9
pm.

This
event
is
open
to
the
public
and
is
located
behind
the
Biloxi
Visitors
Center
there'll
be
lots
of
games,
presentations
and
a
costume
contest.
It's
always
fun
for
the
entire
family
and
for
the
sports
minded
Biloxi
soccer
registration
for
boys
and
girls
ages,
8
to
18
will
be
Saturday
from
9
to
11
30
a.m.
At
the
Donald
Schneider
community
center
on
Pass
Road
registration
fees
apply
for
more
information,

the
Sports
division
at

Speaking
of
cemeteries,
the
16th
annual
Cemetery
tour
takes
place
on
Sunday
from
2
to
4,
P.M
and
Tuesday
from
5
to
7
P.M.
This
is
a
self-guided
walking
tour
of
the
old
Biloxi
Cemetery,
with
graveside
portrayals
of
local
folks
that
made
their
Mark
in
Biloxi.
This
year's
tour
will
celebrate
music
throughout
the
decades
showcasing
the
musically
inclined
lexians
of
the
past
for
more
