B
One
new
case
of
the
corona
virus
was
reported
in
Jackson
County
in
the
past
24
hours
and
morning,
Hancock
County,
more
and
more
sectors
of
the
economy
continue
to
open,
and
this
is
going
to
be
a
huge
week
as
we
move
forward
casino
resorts
open
on
Thursday
morning
with
the
host
of
guidelines
from
the
Mississippi
Gaming
Commission.
Of
course,
restaurants,
retail
gyms,
public
parks,
barber
shops
and
salons
are
open
now
with
guidelines
for
both
operators
and
customers.
You
can
even
go
to
church
beginning
on
Saturday.
B
You
may
wonder:
what's
safe,
what's
not
safe,
it's
all
going
to
be
as
safe
as
it
can
be.
If
everyone
follows
the
guidelines
and
does
the
responsible
thing,
Edgewater
mall,
for
instance,
is
enjoying
record
business
these
days,
but
it's
all
being
done
within
the
framework
of
the
city's
opening
up
Biloxi
again
guidelines.
The
key
to
the
guidelines
is
social
distancing.
Another
key
is
being
responsible,
knowing
what
the
guidelines
are
and
following
them.
Please
remember
the
basics:
wash
your
hands
often
avoid
close
contact.
B
Remember
social
distance
when
you're
out
in
public
or
when
you're
at
work
or
when
you're
shopping,
cover
your
mouth
and
nose
with
a
cloth
whenever
you
around
others,
don't
gather
in
groups
and
clean
and
disinfect
surfaces
that
are
used
often
don't
be
afraid
to
wear
a
mask
for
your
protection
and
the
protection
of
others
again
we're
still
in
a
pandemic
and
strict
guidelines
that
we've
seen
are
now
being
relaxed,
but
you
will
still
have
to
do
your
part
to
stop
the
spread.
Cases
are
still
being
reported.
Safety
precautions
are
still
in
place.
That's
today's
report.
B
Please
check
back
again
tomorrow
on
behalf
of
Mayor
Gilles
and
the
members
of
the
Biloxi
City
Council.
We
say
god
bless
you
and
God
bless
Biloxi.
We
leave
you
today
with
another
favorite.
It
was
several
years
ago
when
Steve
Kazan,
who
was
then
a
deckhand
on
the
Biloxi
shrimping
tour,
was
so
moved
by
the
restoration
work
at
the
Biloxi
lighthouse
that
he
researched
our
signature
landmark
and
he
wrote
a
song
to
tell
the
story
of
the
Biloxi
lighthouse.
