city

committee

resumed
its
highly
successful
and
award-winning
preservation
in
May
program.
This
year's
program
celebrates
Biloxi's
history
and
diverse
culture.

Wednesday
May
the
17th
at
10
in
the
morning,
members
of
the
Biloxi
police
department
will
join
others
for
a
public
ceremony
on
the
front
steps
of
the
Lopez
quave
Public
Safety
Center,
which
is
located
at
170
Porter
Avenue.
This
ceremony
is
to
pay
homage
to
all
law
enforcement
officers
who
have
died
in
the
line
of
duty.
The
annual
Fallen
officer
ceremony
is
open
to
the
public.
Biloxi
will
be
honoring
five
officers
who
have
died
in
the
line
of
duty
over
the
years:
David
Higginbotham,
Michael,
Mayo,
Nathan,
Mitchell,
Emory,
Wilson
and
Robert
mckeithan.

Each
weekday,
the
city's
engineering
department
updates
the
traffic
page
on
the
city's
website,
beginning
Monday,
May
15th
West
Oaklawn
Road
from
Scenic
River
Drive
to
Pin
Oak
Drive
will
be
closed
to
traffic
so
that
Crews
can
install
a
new
storm
drain.
Pipe
motorists
are
asked
to
follow
the
detour
signs
also
beginning
Monday,
May,
15th,
Brady
drive
and
us-90
will
be
closed
to
traffic,
so
Crews
can
install
sewer
and
water
mains
to
keep
up
with
road
closures
and
reopenings

traffic

Talent

performances

weekend
and
this
weekend,
they're
also
offering
a
Mother's
Day
brunch.
