A
B
Yeah,
it's
it's
been
a
busy
off-season.
Surprisingly
for
us
for
the
Shuckers
I
know
that
a
lot
of
people
think
that
the
season
ends
and
we
just
kind
of
stare
at
the
grass
Grove
for
the
entire
off
season,
which
we
do
a
little
bit.
But
no,
it's
been
a
busy
off-season
and
winter
of
planning
getting
everything
ready
to
go
because
we
have
a
very
exciting
2023.
B
B
Yeah,
the
big
one
obviously
coming
up
is
Mississippi.
State
is
coming
back
down
for
a
third
time
in
four
years,
so
they're
not
playing
Texas
Tech
like
they
have
the
last
couple
of
years,
but
they
are
matching
up
against
a
couple
of
more
local
teams:
they're
playing
nickels
out
of
Thibodeaux,
obviously,
and
then
they're
also
playing
the
University
of
Louisiana.
That
game
is
going
to
be
on
March
15th
against
Nichols
is
March
14th
right
now.
Kind
of
all
that's
left
is
reserve
level
tickets.
B
Obviously
State
big
weekend
series
that
they
had
against
Arizona
State
in
Starkville
against
their
Duty
Noble
field,
so
they're,
starting
to
figure
some
things
out,
there's
a
possibility
that
durangelo
sinche
who's
that
ambidextrous
pitcher,
who
throws
both
left-handed
and
right-handed.
He
looks
like
he's,
probably
gonna,
be
one
of
their
midweek
starters,
so
there's
a
very
real
possibility
unless
they
move
them
into
the
weekend
rotation
that
he's
going
to
be
pitching
at
MGM
Park.
B
So
if
you
want,
if
you
can't
make
it
up
to
the
dude
and
see
Mississippi
State
play,
this
is
a
great
opportunity
to
see
them
play.
Two
midweek
games.
March,
14th
and
15th
tickets
are
available
online
right
now,
they're
also
available
at
the
box
office.
If
you
want
to
come
by
and
buy
them
there,
the
Shuckers
front
office,
but
that's
really
the
big
one.
That's
coming
up
and
it's
been
a
fantastic
event.
B
It's
been
some
of
the
largest
crowds
we've
had
in
MGM
Park
history
for
those
games
and
I'm
expecting
more
of
the
same
this
year.
So
if
you're
interested
in
coming
out
stress
enough
buy
your
ticket
now
because
there's
just
kind
of
tickets
down
the
lines
is
all
that's
left.
If
you
want
to
get
a
good
seat,
that's
what
I
really
recommend.
That's.
A
B
Info
yeah,
so
our
daily
promos
are
already
out
for
this
year.
So
a
lot
of
the
same
kind
of
stuff-
that's
been
successful
in
the
past,
so
we're
doing
t-shirt,
Tuesday
again,
Wednesday
night
we're
doing
military
Wednesday.
Yet
again,
and
that's
also,
we
have
six
Bark
in
the
Park
nights,
so
I
know
that's
awesome.
A
B
But
so
there
are
six
Bark
in
the
Park
days:
Thursdays
Thursday
Thursdays
this
year.
So
that's
your
drink,
specials,
both
beer
and
soda
specials
on
hot
dogs.
We
have
fireworks
Friday
this
year,
we're
doing
12
fireworks,
Fridays
13
overall
Fireworks
shows
we're
yet
again
doing
our
Independence
Day
Extravaganza.
We
kick
it
off
a
day
early
on
July
3rd,
that's
by
our
friends
at
Merit,
Health,
Biloxi
Who
present
that
a
fantastic
partner
for
us
for
the
Shuckers
and
then
yeah
Saturdays
are
going
to
be
our
shut
gas
Saturdays
again.
B
So
that's
where
your
premium
giveaways,
your
special
acts,
special
jerseys,
a
lot
of
stuff
like
that
is
going
to
happen,
and
then
Sunday
is
our
our
fun
day.
Sunday
again
so
we've
got
ticket
package
deals
for
those
pre-game
player,
autographs,
post
game,
catch
on
the
field,
so
all
kinds
of
stuff-
and
that
doesn't
even
include
all
of
our
theme,
nights
and
giveaways
that
we
have
which
people
want
to
find
that
they
can
go
to
biloxicheckers.com,
Promotions
and
I'll.
B
A
B
Right
now,
we're
I
think
that
we're
still
not
we're
just
quite
haven't
put
out
the
promo
schedule.
I
can
say
this:
we
are
going
to
have
a
bobble
head
this
year.
It
is
going
to
be
for
someone
local.
Yet
again
so
remember
back
in
2021
we
did
our
Fred
Hayes
bobble
head
giveaway
this
year
for
2023
we
have
another
Hometown,
hero
may
or
may
not
have
taken
home
an
Olympic
gold
medal
wow
so
that
that's
just
a
little
bit
of
a
teaser
I.
B
You
know
without
giving
away
too
much
we're
gonna
do
a
bucket
hat
giveaway
this
year.
We're
gonna
have
another
Hawaiian
shirt,
giveaway
that
we're
gonna.
Do
there
are
going
to
be
specialty,
jerseys,
we're
yet
again,
partnering
with
Marvel
and
so
we'll
have
okay,
our
special
Marvel
jerseys.
Those
this
year
are
actually
going
to
be
Shuckers,
Marvel
jerseys.
So
it's
going
to
be
our
Marvel
eye,
Shuckers
logo
that
we
have
on
those
and
also
those
nights,
love
character,
appearances
as
well,
so
there's
there's
a
ton,
that's
packed
in
there.
B
A
B
So
back
in
early
February,
it
was
announced
that
the
team
was
actually
sold
so
Ken
young,
who
has
been
the
primary
owner
for
the
Shuckers
and
for
our
ownership
group.
Since
the
team
moved
from
Huntsville
down
here
to
Biloxi,
he,
along
with
ownership,
sold
the
Shuckers
to
now
Shuckers
baseball
LLC,
which
is
owned
by
John,
Tracy
and
I,
know
that
whenever
the
sale
happened,
people
wondered
what
that
meant
for
the
longevity
of
the
team
would
have
been
for
the
season.
Having
met
with
John.
B
Personally,
he's
very
excited
to
be
here,
his
son
actually
pitched
four
Ole
Miss
and
then
pitched
in
the
minor
leagues.
He
pitched
for
the
Yankees
actually
made
his
major
league
debut
with
the
Yankees,
so
John's
very
well
versed
in
minor
league
baseball
and
he's
coming
in
here
to
really
help
the
Shuckers
grow.
He
wants
the
Shuckers
to
be
a
part
of
this
community
like
they
are
and
continue
to
impact
the
community
in
positive
ways.
B
He
told
us
when
we
met
with
him
look
ownership
change
in
February,
he's
not
looking
to
come
in
here
and
blow
everything
up
and
change
everything.
So
we're
proceeding
as
usual
for
2023,
but
I
think
that
what
John's
going
to
do
is
help
us
continue
to
improve
our
product,
that
we
have.
What
we
do
in
terms
of
customer
service
and
I
think
that
you'll
start
to
see
some
of
those
changes,
maybe
in
the
back
half
of
the
year.
But
really
2024
is
where
you'll
see
like
a
noticeable
impact.
B
But
I
can
tell
you
that
John
is
an
incredible
guy
he's
coming
in
as
our
owner
and
he's
just
looking
to
make
sure
that
we
grow
and
continue
to
be
a
part
of
this
community
and
improve
the
area
that
we're
at
and
keep
providing
a
family-friendly
fun.
Affordable
experience
for
everybody
to
come
out
and.
B
We
are
going
to
have
some
players
who
are
coming
back
and
really
the
big
name
to
look
for
at
the
beginning
of
the
season,
and
I
can't
stress
this
enough
because
we
saw
it
when
Ethan
small
was
here
in
2021.
He
made
a
grand
total
of
eight
starts
for
the
Shuckers
he
pitched
four
times
at
MGM
Park,
and
then
he
got
promoted
to
AAA.
So
if
you're
interested
in
this
Jackson
Cheerio
he's
19
years
old,
he
is
the
number
three
Prospect
in
all
of
baseball.
B
B
Jackson,
so
other
number
one
prospects
in
the
past
include
Bryce
Harper.
They
include
adley,
rushman
who's,
obviously
a
great
catcher
right
now
for
the
ball.
Baltimore
Orioles
Vladimir,
Guerrero
Jr
was
the
number
one
Prospect
Fernando
tatis
Jr
was
the
number
one
Prospect
so
he's
following
a
lineage
of
these
guys
normally
are
not
misses,
and
so
that's
certainly
the
one
that
stands
out.
But
we're
gonna
have
a
lot
of
great
guys
on
this
team.
B
There's
a
chance
that
Joe
gray
Jr
who's
from
up
the
road
in
Hattiesburg
is
going
to
be
on
our
opening
day
roster
we
have
some
returning
faces,
like
West,
Clark,
Xavier,
Warren,
Nick,
Bennett
and
Brandon
canara
on
the
mound
for
us
Justin
Jarvis,
who
got
a
late
season
bump
who's.
You
know,
pumps
it
in
at
96
miles
an
hour,
Abner
Uribe,
who
unfortunately
got
injured
last
year,
but
he
throws
99
to
103.
A
B
B
A
B
He's
biloxihuckers.com
for
our
tickets.
There,
individual
tickets
will
be
on
sale
very
shortly,
but
if
you
want
to
lock
up
your
spot,
we
have
Flex
plans,
that's
20,
undated
vouchers,
so
you
can
use
them
for
any
combination
of
any
games
that
you
want.
You
can
get
20
tickets
for
One
game
or
five
tickets
for
four
games
or
four
tickets
for
five
games,
the
possibilities-
and
we
also
have
season
memberships
as
well.
Those
are
our
Chef
Nation,
memberships,
half
season
ticket
members
and
full
season
as
well,
and
those
are
also
fully
flexible.
