A
B
Going
way
back
to
the
beginning,
14
years
ago
we
started
grilling
on
the
green.
We
were
wanting
a
barbecue
competition
and
we're
trying
to
figure
out
what
we
wanted
to
do
and
we
started
it
with
about
six
grill
teams
and
some
community
members
that
wanted
to
judge
and
our
kitty
of
what
they
won
was
a
lot
smaller
than
and
trying
to
figure
out
what
the
date
was
going
to
be.
What
was
a
good
day,
we
actually
didn't
start
it
off
with
the
st.
B
Patty's
Day
Parade,
but
we
ended
up
a
couple
of
years
later,
linking
it
to
the
st.
Patty's,
Day,
Parade
and
and
grilling
on.
The
green
made
a
lot
more
sense
and
we
were
worried
about
putting
grilling
on
the
green
on
a
parade
day
because
the
crowds
were
so
large,
but
that
turned
out
to
be
a
blessing
and
everybody
loved
it,
and
it's
just
grown
and
grown
every
year.
B
We
have
more
professional
judges,
we
have
a
we
give
away
over
six
thousand
dollars
in
cash
and
prizes,
and
so
it
will
see
six
thousand
dollars
in
cash
and
then
we
have
prizes
that
are
extra.
So
we
have
over
20
grill
teams,
twin
it
between
20
and
25,
and
that's
all.
We
can
see
it
because
those
grill
teams
all
have
those
real
professional,
big
rigs
and
trailers,
and
we
squeeze
as
many
of
them
in
there
as
we
can.
We
have
a
lot
of
repeat
grill
teams
that
love
to
come
and
participate.
It's
a
fun
day.
B
Our
barbecue
competitions,
not
a
sanctioned
event
like
there's
plenty
of
the
sanctions
have
been
around
that
will
get
people
into
other
competitions,
but
ours
is
just
a
family
fun
day
that
the
grill
teams
love
to
come
out
and
bring
their
family
enjoy
all
our
live
entertainment.
We
have
local,
live
entertainment
and
we
packed
the
green
with
craft
vendors
and
then,
of
course,
the
fun
st.
Patrick's
Day
parade
that
comes
around
it
too.
B
So
the
day
is
packed
in
with
all
kinds
of
fun:
family
things
we
have
a
kids
area
and
it
is
a
free
event
to
attend.
They
don't
have
to
pay
to
come
to
participate,
runs,
don't
have
to
pay
anything
to
come
and
and
have
a
fun
day
at
grilling
on
the
green
and
enjoy
the
st.
Patrick's
Day
parade
March.
The
14th
wheeler.
B
Oh,
it
takes
we
work
on
this.
We
start
really
working
on
this
in
about
six
months
out
and
come
December.
We
really
go
full
force
so
from
December
to
March.
We
are
working
trying
to
to
get
everybody
where
they
want
to
be
in
their
in
their
locations,
but
it
takes
a
lot
to
get
the
green
ready
to
when
you
have
this
as
much
going
on
as
we
do
on
the
town
Green
trying
to
get
it
all
laid
out
and
trying
to
get
everybody
fit
in
there.
B
Got
some
of
the
great
returners
we've
got
a
new,
and
this
year
we're
we're,
kicked
off
the
day
with
rhythm
and
rain
at
10
o'clock
and
they're,
always
a
crowd
favorite
every
year
at
noon
this
year
we're
gonna
have
unfazed.
So
this
is
the
first
year
for
the
unfazed
band
and
it's
a
Funkadelic
show
band
and
they
have
a
lot
of
about
12
or
13
members
and
there's
so
much
fun.
B
So
that'll
be
great
entertainment
at
noon
around
lunchtime,
and
while
everybody
is
turning
in
their
barbeque
boxes
and
then
at
2
o'clock
will
break
for
the
parade
and
as
soon
as
the
parade's
over
we
give
away
our
barbecue
awards
at
about
2:45
and
then
at
3
o'clock,
Ty
Taylor
and
the
kin
folks
kick
it
off,
and
this
year
they
have
even
asked
us
at
the
Hibernian.
Society
is
going
to
come
down
and
give
all
their
awards
out
to
all
the
parade
participants
and
floats
at
the
town
green
this
year.
B
Have
so
much
fun,
we
have
face
painters
and
we
have
our
kids
area.
It's
you.
Can
all
the
kids
can
go
in
the
kids
zone
for
five
dollars,
an
armband
for
the
entire
day,
so
they
can
play
and
the
parents
can
feel
good
about
them
in
all
the
inflatables
and
the
face
painting
and
there's
so
much
more
things
for
the
kids
to
do,
and
we
also
try
to
make
the
food
affordable.
The
food
we
try
to
have
something
for
five
dollars.
B
I
mean
there's
all
different,
a
range
in
prices,
but
we
told
all
of
our
grill
teams.
Our
are
the
vendors
that
sell
the
food
and
they
have
a
choice
they
can
sell
or
not
to
sell,
but
about
half
of
the
grill
team
participants
choose
to
sell
their
food
and
that's
one
of
our
regulations
is
for
them
to
be
able
to
have
something
affordable,
because
we
feel
that's
important
for
the
public.
So
we
ask
them
to
have
something
available
for
five
dollars
to
eat.
B
Well,
we
would
like
to
call
it
we'd
like
to
help
paint
ooh,
that
it
grows
and
grows
every
year
and
it's
packed
in,
and
it
is
just
a
family
fun
day
and
it
smells
wonderful
all
through
the
downtown,
well
everybody's,
getting
ready
for
the
st.
Patty's
Day
Parade.
You
can
spell
those
those
grills
that
have
been
going
all
night
long.
