Here are east Biloxi infrastructure updates. The north project, being constructed by Oscar Renda Contracting, covers 55 miles of streets north of the CSX railway in east Biloxi. Hemphill Construction is rebuilding infrastructure on eight miles of roadways south of the CSX Railway, from downtown to Seashore Methodist. Hello, my name is felix gaines councilmember for ward 2 beloit. Like many of you, I've endured this project known as the north contract. It is a 125 million federally funded project that replaces all the water mains sewer lines storm drains, as well as the streets curve and sidewalk.

It was the largest public improvement project ever undertaken by the city, and we made it look like it too.

In all the north contract includes about 55 miles of street and there's harley a street from kiesla to all the way to point cadet. That was not torn up.

Like many of you, I remember the dirt roads where they read the dusty muddy, no in-betweens, you wasn't sure if you were going to be able to go to work in the morning or even get back home in the evening. Those days of the dirt roads are over, in fact, a nightmare known as the north contract. It's just about over today, I'm here to give you an update on where things are and tell you what you need to know.

All the roles of the project have been paid. We have not been driving on dirt roads for several months hallelujah now that we are working to get those final coats of asphalts on a few remaining streets.

Some of them are the big ones such as division street and fey archery. When is this going to be done as soon as we can? It's been a long time since we started all the way from august 2014 and I am pushing to get the final work done right now.

I also want to make sure that you know that if you have any issues you could such as fencing messed up, sidewalks driveways in front of your home, the.

So if you are still in need of something done now is the time to call. Finally, I want to say to you the residents, businessmen of ward, 2 and east biloxi. I know this has been an ordeal I answered. Many phone calls in the late night, all in the early mornings, weekdays weekends.

I pulled many cars that was bogged down in the streets out and I spoke to many neighbors. I apologize for what you went through. I thank you for your patience. I thank you for your love of biloxi and your love of the neighborhood. Now we're on the verge of bringing the curtain down on this project. Thank the lord amen.

Hi, my name is jack gradwick, I'm the assistant project manager for hempfield construction on the biloxi south contract. I'm here to give you an update on the progress of our work. We are nearing completion of our project. We are currently in the final stages, putting down surface asphalt and striping on all the streets.

Warren paving is currently on gill avenue putting down surface and will continue to work that way throughout the week until they get to hopkins boulevard. The remaining hemp hill crews are working around the job site. Cleaning up preparing for final completion, we'd like to remind everyone to continue to drive safe around our job site, keep our employees in mind while doing so. Thank you.

Good morning, biloxi, I'm stephen dunlap of lane construction company, updating the citizens of blocky on our progress of the south contract. Since our last update, we've laid the 12-inch sewer on fourth street up to hoxie. We will continue to install the new sewer services on 4th street and we expect to start the sewer on hockey.

We've also started laying the sewer on maple. This line will service the lots on maple street. The water line on maple's been laid up to 4th street and we will continue to lay the water on maple as we progress with a sewer, we're also making good progress on the 42 inch sewer on maple some plans to complete 42 by mid to late september.
