of
removing

heavy
hand
on

the

the

thinnest
amount
of
sand
on

entire
beach

terms
of
width

the
beach
is
right
there
at
next

pier

lighthouse
pier
and

occurred
to
us
that

mitigating
the
pier,
by
building
it
differently,
we
could
also
mitigate
the
loss
of
all
the
sand
by
doing
some
different
things
with
regards
to
how
we
block
the
flow
of
the
water
under
the
pier.

anyway,
we
were,
if
you
will
doing
doing
some
soul,
searching
about
how
to
fix
that
up,
and
we
intend
to
submit
a
hazard
mitigation
project
and
it
has
our
mitigation
project
as
it's
been
described
to

replace

pier

way

we
can
go
up
to
100
percent
of
that
or
2
million
dollars
to
do
it
better
to
do
it
better.

that's
we

to

cost

analysis

the

in

right

biggest
problem

west
biloxi
is
watered
sewer
and
not
drainage,
but
I'm
not
saying
drainage.
Isn't
the
issue.

master
plan

years
ago
that
we're
still
beavering
away
at.
We
do
not
have

recent
drainage

that

us
every

rains
and
we
rush

administration

aside

money

lobbyists

our
congressional
delegation
about
getting
some
money
for
this
pops
ferry
bridge.

engineers
who've
touched

in
washington
and
we

actually

obvious

has

those
connections
that
that's
exactly
you

the

millions
of
dollars
to
do
what
we
need
to
do
may
not
come
out
once,

we've

to
ask

positioned

connections

bit

kind

people

violate

opportunities
to
designate
certain
areas
that
are
natural
ditches.

could
do
these
conservation
easements,
it
could
get
us
some
points
back.
Currently,
I
believe
we're

level
five.
Is
that
the
right
terminology,
but
we're
only
points
at
a
level
five
if
we
lose
that
designation
and
it
slips

next
level,
then
insurance
rates,
flood
insurance
rates
go
up,
and
so,
even
though
this
opportunity
doesn't
appear
to
get
us
to
a
level
four,
it
may
accumulate
some
points
to
give
us

buffer
that
won't.
